We were traveling through town at lunchtime and found the Harvest Craft Kitchen on Yelp. We got to the address and decided we were in the wrong place because the sign was for The Wild Hare. So, we decided to stay and try it out. (So confusing) Monday is a burger & fries only day. So much for the Bahn Mi sandwich I saw online. The Monday burger menu had some good choices. They were very good burgers for sure. My Swiss, grilled mushrooms and onions was the best tasting I've ever had. It was really savory. The atmosphere was unexpected. It looked more like a sports bar- dark with large bar area, huge tv's, and a small stage. In summary- the food was very good, but the atmosphere just didn't match the food and the previous pics on older Yelp reviews. The people working there were friendly and helpful. So to relieve the confusion, I asked about the listing on Yelp. The Harvest Craft Kitchen is actually the kitchen within The Wild Hare bar. read more

We don't live in Great Falls, so we no longer know lunch places there. We were looking for a quick bite on our way to a funeral, a few blocks down Central Avenue and wanted to basically eat and fly, to get there on time! This place popped up on our phone and we stopped by. Wow!! Great staff, quick service and better than that, phenomenal food! My husband got the Cubano and he loved it. I had the Duke burger with pepper jack cheese, bacon, grilled onion and jalapeños, garlic aioli & habanero bbq sauce. It may be my favorite burger ever. We both took more than half home and ate the rest for dinner!! We highly recommend The Kitchen at the Wild Hare! read more

First - the food was really good and I told the kitchen that. We even ordered food to go after our meal to eat for dinner later. However - We went on a Sunday afternoon and the ambiance was not pleasant unless you expect to find loud, obscene rap music in a restaurant and even louder, more obscene patrons in the bar area, shouting f-bombs and worse throughout your meal. There was no apparent control of the atmosphere or customer experience by management and I was just glad no children were present in the restaurant. My husband and I are generally pretty laid back but have to say that the environment was A LOT. Our multiple servers were friendly enough - food came out hot and was definitely good. But the environment was anything but welcoming and sounded like a drunken frat party the entire time. If you want a drinking party atmosphere with great food on a Sunday afternoon in Great Falls, this is your spot! read more

Man I thought this place was gone!! My wife and I decided to go eat downtown today. We were actually headed to Paniolo Cafe, but once we had parked and headed in the building we saw a sign saying closed for the Memorial Day weekend. Since we had already paid parking we decided to walk up the street to find another place. We were walking past the Lobby Bar when we looked over and saw a sign just inside the door that said Harvest Craft Kitchen. We were a bit surprised and recalled how much we loved Harvest Craft Kitchen when it was located 3 blocks up by the Travelodge. They had a special today, the 406 Cheese Steak, which we decided to try. As expected it was GREAT! the sliced steak, onions, and all were perfectly cooked. The bread was shockingly fantastic! I could have eaten the bread without the fillings. It was also a nice sized portion! There was enough sandwich both my wife and I saved half for tonight's supper. I ordered mine with fries and my wife had hers with Potato Salad. We both found our sides to be incredibly tasty as well. If you haven't been to the Harvest Craft Kitchen since it moved... or like us, didn't know it simply moved and wasn't completely shut down, do yourself a favor, find it and give it another try. Lastly, The young lady talking the orders at the window was also running food out to the tables as well as cleaning up and making sure everyone had everything they needed. That young lady has one hell of a work ethic. read more

This place is a lunch hot spot and a must for big appetites! I arrived at 11:45am and it was a 25 min wait, so suggest to get there before the big lunch rush! I ordered the Club sandwich with potato salad as my side. The sandwich is huge and had to eat it with a fork because it was too big to eat! Wow... just wow. Driving through Great Falls for the first time, I stumbled on this place thanks to Yelp. We shared two sandwiches. The cuban and the Bahn mi. I am not prone to superlatives, (though if you read my other Yelp reviews,it might seem otherwise since I typically only review places when I have a strong opinion about them) but these sandwiches were incredible. Both were the best of their kind I have had anywhere. The Bahn mi was easily in the top 10 best sandwiches I have had in my entire life. So much depth of flavor. This kind of sandwich belongs in the same discussion as any sandwich I've had from Memphis to Austin, San Francisco to Los Angeles, Seattle to New York. Mr. Matthew Black is a freakin wizard. His bahn mi is the best sandwich in Great Falls and it's not even close. He also makes his own bread daily, which is probably half the reason the sandwiches are so good. They have a daily special, which seems to go on a more-or-less weekly rotation. They're all awesome, especially the shrimp po' boy. I think he only makes 20 or 25 specials a day, so get them quick. Don't let the Travelodge facade fool you. This is a comfortable, clean lunch spot. I may only have mentioned a couple dishes here, but I'm making it a point to try everything on the menu eventually. It is just obvious that he cares deeply about the way his food looks and tastes and understands how to make it great. read more

Harvest burger was juicy but not greasy with a generous amount of bacon. Fresh tomatoes and lettuce. The fried egg was cooked to perfection!! Our first take-out since the covid fiasco turned our lives upside down. Couldn't have picked a better way to inch back towards normalcy. This is a locally owned (good luck Matt) eatery that opened about 3 months ago that serves great sandwiches. This place should thrive. They bake their own breads daily, the quality of which elevates their offerings to a very high level. The Cubano we had was loaded with pork and had a unique jalapeno mustard... one of the best cubanos we have ever eaten. The Italian Pork Sandwich was also very good... couldn't believe how thick the slices of pork were on this baby. They were slammed with phone orders which kept this understaffed operation jumping... they can't find any help since our ignorant Congress subsidizes unemployment to the point that you can make more staying home sitting on your duppa. Ain't socialism grand. Back on point (sorry, I stumbled onto my bandbox again): We strongly recommend this place for good food and friendly service. read more
