To be fair, the pizza had a very nice flavor, but the toppings were not spread out over the pizza anywhere close to evenly. In fact there were portions of the pizza that were just plain dough. The service was close to terrible. The waitress was pretty much unattractive. We finally had to ask a different waitress for refills. First off, let me say I don't know why this place isn't 5 stars across the board or close to it. It was outstanding! The Med salad was delicious and the tomatoes the prepared in it were a hit. We also had wings which were delicious. And the Spicy Dictator pizza was served so hot on a stone platter that the pieces were still hot as we finished our dinner- no joke. One of the top 3 places in great falls. Pizza is always good with a bit of char and tons of chew to the crust. Service has always been great and we have been many dozen times. Italian wine collection is much better than you would expect for Montana. And beer selection is near the best in town. All in all five star joint. read more

Love this find! I didn't have a chance to look at yelp before coming in here. Stopped by in the evening around 3pm, they had happy hour so the beers were 3$ and for first time customers you get free appetizers. We tried their 8$ half and half pizza combo. Got the garden state signature and the truffle pizza. The truffle pizza was amazing ! Super delicious! The pizza base was so light and the crust was airy and bubbly. Really delicious bruschetta appetizer with just the right amount of balsamic and the bread was light and not too dense like some places. Solid wine and cider options. Wanted pizza not available at home so... We settled on this spot. Found parking easily for evening in a downtown location. Walked in and was seated immediately. Noticed that the place was not the norm for pizza. Ordered a pepperoni and a Margherita pizza, 2 for 30 special per the server. Pepperoni was crisp as requested but not exactly what I look for taste wise in my pizza, it was good even though. Wife said her nagherta pizza was better than the Italian pizzara back home. This place is definitely popular! And loud when it's crowded. Service was a little slow, but not for lack of hustling by the servers. We took advantage of the lunch special - 1/2 pizza, soup or salad, soft drink. We also got the Cesar salad with extra anchovies. I got the brisket stew with the mushroom and fennel sausage pizza. The Hubbs had the meat lovers. Their beer on tap selection was nice. Although good, cherry-wood fired, it wasn't the best pizza we've had. Also they serve wood-fired toast on the side which is really dry. And don't offer anything to put on it. I dipped mine into soup. It's a bit pricey. But overall a decent meal. read more

I dont know why I keep going back to this place hoping for a more positive experience. We paid $70 (before tip) recently for two small pizzas, a small side salad and one glass of house red. There was a time when I loved the mycology pizza as advertised - with garlic thyme oil and finished with fresh thyme. I keep going back only to be served a bland mushroom pizza - no garlic thyme oil, no fresh thyme. They always end up bringing a teaspoon of dried thyme, no apologies, $19 dollars please. Fire is like a bad relationship-always a let down and no apologies. Finally time to move on. On a positive note, their salads are pretty delish. But I can find those elsewhere. read more

Wow! What a great dinner. My friend and I had a late lunch at Fire Artisan Pizza and it was super, super delicious. The service was fantastic and first timers got a special treat which we appreciated and enjoyed. The locale was friendly and tasteful and very comfortable. I had a half pizza with mozzarella, balsamic reduction drizzle, and chopped dates - which was so unique and so flavorful I will definitely do that again. My salad with fresh greens, feta, slivered almonds, and balsamic vinaigrette was super delicious. I can't begin to recommend this place enough. And the next time I'm in Great Falls this place will be at the top of my list. read more

The service is absolutely horrible. Was seated and waited over 20 minutes before finally walking out. While waiting for my server I asked the young man who seated me if I could order a beer. He asked me who my server was. I told him I didn't have a server as nobody had come by. He apologized and said he would get a server to me asap. Just enough toppings. Loved it. I gotta agree with another reviewer that said that a single, small piece of basil doesn't really cut it for a margerite, but that is a minor gripe. The salads... I quit eating the pizza to make room for salad. We shared the chopped and the mediterranean. Great stuff. I'd go for the chopped salad any day. The pesto bruchetta was also very good. The balsamic reduction make it especially yummy. We've been eating here for as many years as they've been open. The quality of the food and the service have been excellent at times and not at others. Sometimes one of the aspects has been ok and the other has been awful. We've taken a break from eating here and then gone back to try it again in hopes that things have improved. The last few times we've been there things have been pretty good. Tonight however, the experience was disappointing. Two people on our group ordered the Camino pizza and they were markedly different upon arrival. One was loaded with meat, onion and cilantro while the other had roughly five pieces of chicken about the size of the end of a pencil eraser, three pieces of bacon smaller than a pencil eraser and five pieces of red onion no longer than one inch. There was ample cheese but not much else. This was an expensive pizza that I was extremely disappointed in and it will be a very long time before I return. I've thought all along that there should be a standard weight for the ingredients that go onto the pizza and this would help to avoid this problem. I've never written a poor review for a restaurant, but felt it was time to do so because I'd like to see this business succeed but they will only do so if their quality is consistent. The service was mediocre. Our waitress took our drink orders and gave everyone at the table the wrong drink which was ok because we could sort that out. She served our food but never came back to check about our meal nor did she bring us boxes or our check. Another. waiter who has waited on us in the past brought us those things.
