A build-your-own pizza bar, what could sound better than that? The intentions are brilliant. My visit to this MOD pizza location however, could definitely have been better. I loved all of the choices of toppings for your pizza. You can even pick between a couple different marinara bases. BTW- the spicy one is SPICY- like had my eyes watering and I ain't no hot wimp. You could also pick the type of crust you wanted. I think the biggest issue was that my pizza came out pretty burnt. I understand it might not be perfect but none of it really came together for me. They also got my order wrong and it took a loooong time for our pizza to be ready. And I'm a pretty patient person. I don't at all mind a little wait for some good food. But that wasn't this. The inside of the store was cool, modern and clean. They also had specialty lemonades that were sour as heck but for the most part pretty good. MOD Pizza was recommended to us by the hotel we were staying at. The order came quickly and the pizza was very good - though a bit salty. We had ordered a mini gluten free pizza. When the order came we were told they don't do gluten free pizza on the mini size. Would have been good to know before we ordered. Also, the pizza came in two boxes - no napkins or anything else. Napkins should come with an order - especially when delivered to a hotel. Maybe something small - but irritating none the less. read more

Came here for Veterans Day as they advertised free cookies for service members.. Sad to say our group was fairly disappointed with our overall experience here. Staff was reluctant to make us the free cookie which was weird, the employee said with a poor attitude "I guess." After we asked about it, as if we were completely inconveniencing her.. Pizza itself was good, except one of our friends received the wrong pizza (but he had waited a long time for it as we were almost finished eating ours. So he didn't return it or ask for a remake). If bang for your buck is the goal, this is your pizza. If you're looking for a quality pie, this is not it, friend. Don't get me wrong, it's not all bad... the ingredients are fresh, and you are not charged extra for piling them on. The crust was the downfall for me. Don't again get me wrong... if you like thin, communion wafer like, crunchy crust, you'll love this frisbee. From the review ratings, there are a lot of thin crust lovers out there. For me, no. I know this is personal preference, but I was shocked when my wife said she enjoyed it. If I'd have known her tastes ran in this direction, I'm not sure I'd of said yes when she proposed many years ago. I travel quite a bit for work. I've eaten at MOD pizzas all over the US. MOD can generally be relied on for a decent quick meal. I have to say that the pizza from this particular MOD in Great Falls was the best MOD pizza I've ever eaten. I had the build your own, which they made exactly as specified. And so many choices for veggies .. also it's the same price no matter how many toppings you choose You get to make your pizza exactly how you want, and it's super cheap. Horrific customer service. I had a pick up order, walked in 5 minutes after my order was supposed to be ready but they were pretty busy and there was nothing on the designated order pick up table. So I sat directly in front of the counter where an employee was preparing orders. 13 minutes later I walked up to said Employee (douche we can call him) and asked for a time frame on my order. He reaches back behind the oven and grabs my two cold pizza boxes. I understand things happen- I'm a reasonable person. But when I pick my jaw up off the floor and start to ask why in Gods name they have a pick up order table when he has a little hidy hole to stash the pizzas in he walks away from me and never looks back. Place is new and staff friendly and outgoing during soft opening. Price seems to be very good for what you get. Can pick as many toppings as you want to. Got myself a garlic sauce, sausage, mushroom, diced tomatoe, bacon and whole roasted garlic pizza. This is a good spot from what I can see for a lunch and dinner pizza. Gave it 2 stars because the pizza is good, but the staff can be a turn off. I told the one young man at checkout that as someone handling my food, I didn't want to see his exposed rear end. Seriously, he might have just worked in his underwear. His response was that it wasn't sanitary for him to keep pulling his pants up! I said, "Then wear a belt, or buy pants that fit." Wow, what a disorganized mess. The only thing this place has going for it is the cheap price. They had lots of help on the line, but no one seemed to know what the other was doing...no flow. They were out of BBQ sauce, out of white sauce, napkins dispensers were empty, tables needed washing. And it was FREEZING in there. We ate here a month ago and it was the same story. I assumed it was new and working the bugs out, but most likely won't be back. Suggestions to management: if you see everyone huddled shivering and hoodies up, maybe it's too cold? I must have been to a different MOD pizza in Great Falls. I have been there 12 times. I like pizza, ok. I have never had good service, but the pizza price is good. At some point, the staff needs to be trained and to speed up. I know it takes time, but, you have 1 opportunity to make a first impression. (Well, 12 times for me). The pizza is good, but, please train the staff to get faster and not goof around and play grab A.. while making food. One of the guys touched the garbage can and someone told him he had to change gloves now. He said "yeah" and went back to making the pizza. I left. I was there at 4:30 on a Tuesday afternoon. Only 2 people in line and I waited 15 minutes before I left. MOD Pizza is a great addition to Great Falls, but, will not survive if they don't fix some of these issues with training. I believe everyone can be a great employee, if the training and expectations are there. Let's hope this doesn't go the way of Hoagieville. read more

The pizza was good. It had a nice crisp crust, the meat, pepperoni, sausage and ground beef was spiced nicely and was very filling and you can have it customized. I added Ricotta cheese to my pizza. The crew is still not fully trained so they mess up things pretty frequently but that is forgivable since it officially opened just a few days back. I love mod pizza but their service is horrible. It always takes forever to get your pizza. I had an order to get picked up at 5:45 pm and it's now 6:30 with no pizza. I waited in line for close to an hour. It was finally my turn (I thought) but the guy making the pizzas said he had to make other pizzas before he could take my order, saying "These people have already paid" I must have looked disappointed but I didn't say anything. He kept talking as if I was arguing. He said, "That's just the way it is. You'll have to wait in line" I found the comment rude and unnecessary, especially since I had already been patiently waiting a very long time. I continued to wait while he made two pizzas then saw that he had three or four more to do. That's when I decided that I didn't "just have to wait". So I walked. Yes, they were slammed. Yes, they had only two, then later 3 employees there. Understanding this, I tried to be patient. If he hadn't taken his stress out on me, I probably would have stayed. Instead, I went to a Mexican restaurant. I was waited on immediately and had my food in less than 10 minutes. It was delicious. Guess who's getting the five star review. BTW, I added a star for the sake of the previous good experiences I have had at MOD. Staff shortage needs to be addressed. read more
