The bartenders were really friendly, and the food came out quickly and smoothly. The interior is also super cute, kind of an old-school lounge vibe with lots of velvet. It came with a choice of tater tots onion rings or fries. I chose tater tots, but changed my mind to fries. Husband just ordered a piece of carrot cake. I was very disappointed with this wrap, not just in comparison to the wrap that used to be available, but just as a wrap being offered by a restaurant in general. The honey bbq sauce (I had asked for some on the side, to dip it into) was red. And I couldn't taste any BBQ smokiness. It was very tomatoey. I queried about my honey-mustard error, and she showed me the menu, and that mistake was definitely on me. I asked if she had some ranch I could use as a dip, and was brought some. So anyway, the wrap - loosely wrapped and quite floppy, and warm, as though it had been grilled or broiled, which rendered the lettuce leaf and tomato slice warm, limp and floppy. The previous wrap from Sunrise, and most other wraps in restaurants where I've had them, will serve an unwarmed tortilla with raw crunchy vegetables. The Sunrise previously did so - lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced red onion, shredded cheese, julienned carrots and crispy chicken in a cool creamy ranch dressing, it was a tightly wrapped, crunchy delight, and out of this world. I recommended it to anyone passing that way. The best thing I have to say about this one, is that there was plenty of chicken and it was tender. There was too much of the honey bbq sauce in it though, and the chicken wasn't crispy anymore, the breading had gone very soggy. It was a disappointment. As were the tater tots, when I had requested fries. The server was pleasant enough, and I tipped her well, but I wasn't happy with the food at all. Won't be returning anytime soon

I had the chicken flatbread, my husband had the cheesesteak, and my daughter had the mac and cheese boat. We all loved our dishes! We had such a great experience and would definitely recommend Tidewater Taphouse if you're in Seward. You won't be disappointed!

The food was good, the beers were good, and overall we had a really nice time. I enjoyed it enough that we actually planned to come back one more time during our stay. You also have a nice little balcony overlooking a wooded area, this is building 15. We are the farthest from the lodge though so it's about a 10 minute walk and if you walk towards the fitness center, you'll find a stairway there that will take you down to the gift shop in one more stairway. We'll get you to the main lodge. They do have an on-demand shuttle that is very quick to pick you up and take you wherever you wish to go. There are two laundry facilities, one between building four and five and the other is down by the RV park there were four washers and dryers and everything worked great same price as the other Princess lodges at seven dollars a load that includes a wash dryer and soap They do not have room service, but you do have a nice little dining table in your room if you got something to go from the main lodge Be sure to check out the rod and reel restaurant, it was one of our favorite. The back patio behind rafters bar has amazing views of the river and mountain. They do have a nice fitness facility and not all properties have them. It also has a great side deck where you could do morning yoga. This is a beautiful place to stay if you'd like to explore nature
