Everyone loved our cake and there was none left! Gwen is a true master in this area and understands what it takes to create a delicious and beautiful cake. She was so fun to work with and answered all of our questions and was kind enough to let us borrow her cake platter/base. Tons of dried beans are imported to Michigan, which is then roasted, shells removed, grind, mixed and tempered to shape as a bar, bonbon and other holiday shapes. Each bar individual bar is priced a bit higher than the commercial chocolate late because DWAAR chocolate has a higher percentage of cocoa and much darker in color. The chocolate maker / owner of DWAAR chocolate is very passionate about her product. Be assured the she creates the highest quality of dark chocolate you can find only Michigan. The owner received an award and was featured in magazines, online and tv. I wish in the near future she will be able to mass produce and supply chocolate discs that can be melted and used as coating in fruits, chips, apples and pretzels.
