Unreliable. Nice guy but if you tell someone you will be out for an appointment on a specific day...show the f up. And if you can't make it communicate with your customer to let them know. Simple as that. Numerous attempts to get my spa fixed. It was like pulling teeth to get him to come out. I paid ahead of time out of good faith but I guess you can put your faith in everyone. Not everyone has the same business values as you may. Lot of excuses at one point I was even asked to text him to "remind" him to come out. After three months of requesting a refund for a mistake they made, owner is still unresponsive. Best part is the refund I'm asking for is warrantied by the Mfg, all he had to do was respond to my message. But instead decides not to respond. Chris is very nice and friendly when you talked to him. However, he's inconsistent in his work schedule, doesn't come regularly and can be unresponsive on the phone. Moreover, his management of the chemicals to maintain proper levels that prevent build ups is totally failing. It's causing extra work to be done to clean it and Chris tries to justify with excuses. A simple test to check levels and add proper chemicals to maintain was obviously not done. (My new pool guy showed me the levels and managed to cure it within 2 weeks). I have been using Chris since the Pool was completed in March of 2016 and he has done an excellent job keeping it in perfect condition. Chris has shifted over weekly cleaning to JoJo and she continues to keep the pool looking perfect year round. They both have a very upbeat and positive attitude. They are reliable and always let me know if they need to reschedule based on workload requirements. Good people that I would highly recommend to anybody. I used this company for about 2 months. The first month was great. Then I noticed my automatic pool vacuum was running almost all day. Turns out they switched my timer so my vacuum would do most of the work. Then when I asked Chris about it he said he didn't know how it happened. The following week they came to clean my pool again and when they left I asked Chris why my pool still had a lot of leaves at the bottom and he said well we only vacuum your pool once a month. The week after that he supposedly sent someone else and they didn't clean my pool because the gate was locked. That may have been true however, you literally can push it open because it doesn't close. If you're looking for a pool guy I would spend a little more money to get the job done right and these people are NOT the ones to do it. read more

I live in an apartment complex that Piranha Pool Services provides service for. I'm a huge swimmer, esp. in the summer. When I moved in here I noticed the water never looked clean and there were lots of stains on the pool floor. I'd also noticed a lot of debris that seemed to be relentless. Ever since Piranha Pool Services has started taking care of the pool there's a noticeable difference in quality. The water looks very clean, the stains seem to be less prevalent, and the debris isn't always there (since they come 3 times a week). I'm very excited to go swimming this summer, not sure I'll leave the water! I highly recommend Piranha Pool Services, you will not be disappointed. read more

I had previously written a great review about Chris and his pool services, but things changed a lot in the last 6 months. Chris started to become very inconsistent, late and stopped servicing our pool, his girlfriend JoJo has been doing it when we actually hired him to begin with. He is scheduled to come on Fridays but he's been texting us to say he can't come and will come the next day and then doesn't show up without even letting us know. Every Friday was a different excuse and living in Temecula in the summer it's imperative that pools get serviced weekly. It's very disappointing as we never had this problem with him before. He seems to have over extended himself with too many clients. We let him go recently due to our pool getting more algae because of the lack of service. When we let him go he did not inquire why or even apologize, he lacks customer service and I do not recommend his services. read more

JoJo installed a new Pentair Sweeper on Monday by Tuesday was not working at all informed Chris that same day said he would be out to reprogram it, well gave me excuse after excuse in texting why he couldn't make it that day or any other until he finally texted me back on Saturday & he bereted me for expecting him to make an unpaid emergency visit to work on Easter weekend mind you he texted me from another of his clients home. I've asked repeatedly for him to give me the original receipt for $410.00 I'm in Wildomar & he always responded it's in the mail. I need it for the warranty. His bank was fully credited for $610.00 for regular monthly cleaning, the cleaning of my filters & the $410.00 sweeper he recommended on the same day of installation. Said it could wait until the following Monday, but that Monday he was taking a week off for Spring Break, so that would have left me 2 wks with an expensive Pentair Sweeper that did not work & a very dirty pool & a dishonest pool cleaner. Mind you I am a recent widow on a fixed income & little knowledge of pool equipment, now he's withholding the receipt until I pay him for services not rendered for the month of April as per our contract, I never had a contract with him & I fired him March 31.
