Jim has been to my house twice as he is utilized by First American Home Warranty & was informed that I had a leak coming from the tub/shower. He disagreed & insisted it was my toilet & replaced the tank bolts. I regretfully trusted his expertise & said "ok" and assumed he the supposed professional was correct and thought all was well. Two days ago while taking a shower upstairs my wife was putting on her makeup in the lower bathroom & water started dripping on her. The shower was dripping profusely all over the floor & causing further damage to the ceiling to say the least. So I called my warranty company & was charged an additional $85 fee for them to send someone out. They sent the same company Pipeworks Plus with the owner by the name of Jim again, which I initially thought was good, thinking they could notice & rectify their previous mistake. Bad choice, he came back to my home acting as if it was our fault for having the problem by asking irrelevant questions such as, "how long do we take showers? or how old is my niece who take showers in that bathroom?" I told him that those questions have nothing to do with the issue at hand. He turned on the shower for 7-10 minutes & stated that he doesn't see a leak (although the watermarks in the ceiling were fresh in the new places) and could do nothing! He didn't look at the shower, sink or toilet to check at all & didn't care at all. He just chuckled & handed me his invoice! I'm a man who does not cuss & I must say I did for the 1st time in 20 years. I told him, "You've been to my house & 2 times you haven't done s**t, please get the hell out of my house!" He chuckled again as he left! Now I have to deal with more extensive secondary repairs costing additional money because Jim was to unconcerned or lazy to fix the issue from the onset! Thankfully after spending an hour on the phone with the warranty company I was able to get another company out...leak was fixed in 45 minutes!! Smh!! read more
