He told us the supply hose that failed was an old style from the 1980s that is now outlawed because it's known for bursting. This company replaced a faucet for my outdoor sprinkler system, and charged me $1400. It was late January so I didn't open the faucet until several months later. I found the new faucet was leaking when I first opened it. So I reached out to them to ask them to fix it. What appeared to be an easy job after watching a YouTube video then turned into a weekend nightmare. We had to call Option One over the weekend due to a stuck cartridge in our shower handle. We couldn't run the water back into the house as we weren't sure if any parts had fallen behind the wall. Scott came out in about a 2 hour window after we called and rescued us and put our mind at ease. It was absolutely worth the extra weekend fee to have peace of mind from this company. I contacted this company because I was having water leaks from my upstairs. When they came out they indicated to investigate the problem was going to start at $249 which would be applied to the cost of my bill if chosen to perform the work. After 4 hours of investigation the tech claimed that my water leak was from old caulking around my tub. He re-caulked my tub and charged me an additional $249. He explained to me that he would remove my ceiling fan because it was damaged with water, patch the hole and replace my ceiling fan. He was also going to refer me to another company to file the repairs on my home insurance. Come to find out recalling wasn't the problem at all because the tub started leaking again. I was left with a leaking tub and a huge hole in my ceiling from this company. read more

Great service really really fast and professional! My water tank went and I needed it replaced immediately.

My current property had some issues with plumbing and I had multiple plumbers come in and check the issue. I also had city of Concord come in and check the issue as suggested by the previous plumbing services. Then i had some other plumbers come in for the same issue but they fixed something else, charged me around 1k and the issue still existed. Having less to none knowledge in plumbing, i didn't wanted to take chances with plumbing companies who just come in and work on other stuff that they think might be the issue and at the end of the day, you just waste some dollars on fixing things that didn't needed to be fixed. Then I took a chance with Option One Plumbing and i am so pleased with their service that they deserved a spot for their business card on my fridge. I wanted to give a shout out to Daniel who was here and he did an exceptional work. He started with some fixes and the issue still existed but he did not leave till he completed the job. Michael Adams was great. He was on time and provided an estimate and got to work right away. He said he priced my job as having to take 4-5 hours. He started at 930am and worked until 230. It wasn't easy finding the leaky city of charlotte water pipe. He dug a pretty good sized trench by hand that was filled with water. He drained it and Replaced the pipe. He troubleshoot several potential other issues. He kept to the original quote of $640. It wasn't an easy job. I'm fortunate that I got to work with Michael Adams. read more

This company is not recommended for overpriced solution, there is no real technicians but bunch of sales, they took advantage of their licensing or liabilities or regulations and dictate the way they want to go like a boss instead of following customer's plan. They will not give you the breakdown estimate but a lump sum $$$ from black boxes. Providence Plumbing was wonderful to work with. We have had a lemon of an AO Smith Hybrid water heater that has been nothing but a headache for years. They came in and replaced our entire system, new tankless water heater, circulation pump, sediment filter and water softener. We now have a Navien system and so far so good. They have put a 10 year guarantee on their work and product, with a reasonable maintenance plan in place, we hope to not have to worry about hot water for a long, long time. Had a leak and they came out and stated they fixed it. After we got our next water bill and it was absurd, we rechecked and noticed there was still a small leak. We called to have them fix what was not fixed the first time and we were charged again because there was no warranty. No warranty I understand but It was not fixed completely the first time they came out. When he first looked at the leak the second time he literally said he was embarrassed , I guess because he only needed to replace about 2 more inches of the pipe the first time and there would not have been an issue. Then said "well I guess I have to fix it" so I thought he would fix his mistake without charge. Well he did charge us and didn't tell us we were being charged until the work was completed. Paid over 350 the first time and over 250 the second time to fix his own mistake. I would look for someone who stands by their work. read more

I was afraid of getting my water heater installed by anyone. I had been searching since 2018 and this year I narrowed my search down. At first I had a long list of companies and I just begin calling, asking for quotes, reading a plethora of reviews, looking at the website, pictures and really doing a detailed search of the company that works best for me. Then my list became shorter and I still couldn't narrow it to one company. I had each company come out to my home and give me quote. I scored each person on arrival time, customer service, professionalism, integrity and experience and how knowledgeable they were. Finally, I took deep breaths and just went off of faith and how well each person treated me when they gave me a quote. I still had two other companies that were awesome but Providence Plumbing was the only company that took the time to see what the other issue was. I had water leaking in my driveway which made my driveway muddy and wet. Every other company told me it was the water heater which I believed it because the water heater was old. But, no John and Trevor took it a step further and said, "It's another issue." They looked under my home and found my shower drain pipe disconnected from the shower which was causing my water to leak in my driveway. They were honest by showing me pictures and bringing me outside to look at it for myself. I said to myself "Another issue = more money and feel on the ground instantly." (Just kidding) Even though my first intentions were to just get the water heater fixed I instantly understood that the other issue needed to be fixed as well. I am happy that they found it because I never knew and I would have never known. No other company went a step further it was just quoting me for the water heater which was basic. The time and commitment they took explaining everything with me for hours; I felt comfortable and knowledgeable as well. The interaction they had with my family and just speaking to me about what is best the option for my family really helped me to decide what to do. I was so afraid to put my trust and hard earned money into trusting a company with this project in the beginning that is the reason I stopped searching. But, John and Trevor really calmed my nerves and didn't try to pressure me into making a decision. They didn't pressure me just to get a sale and I didn't feel scammed at all nor worried. After all my research I just made a decision from my heart and went with it because if I hadn't make the decision to get these things fixed I would still be searching when the answer was in front of me the whole time "Providence Plumbing of the Carolinas."
