I downloaded Yelp just to post this review because I was so impressed with my recent plumbing emergency fix that I am sharing that experience with anyone who will listen because I am that darn impressed and thankful. So even though I'm a new Yelper which evidentally counts against my validity, I hope someone does read this review and know I am being 1000% honest & sincere. Positive: Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value, 5 out of 5 stars and then some!! WOW, just WOW! These guys went above and beyond. My parents have used Lane Logan for years and years so naturally I called them first thing when they opened at 8am when my water heater began leaking and I needed an emergency replacement. I talked to Mr. Logan who advised that they could do an install, but they didnt have a replacement that my house needed on site and we couldn't wait for an order due to the urgent leaking I had on my floors in my house. Mr. Logan was nice enough to instruct me on the correct water heater I needed along with the proper wattage heating element. So with the proper knowledge I went and picked up one myself around 9:15am and was home by 10:10am. Once I told Mr. Logan I had the unit, he was able to send 2 of his men, Oval & David, to install my new water heater. I also needed my old unit drained and removed along with several pipe replacements and a new shut off valve (My modular home was built without a water cut off valve at the water heater so we had to cut water to the whole house). These guys showed up early right after I got home with the new unit about 10:30ish. They drained/removed my old unit and worked to replace surrounding pipes, fittings, and added a shut off valve along with installing the new water heater during a terrible storm with all our phones going off with tornado warnings. They got soaked from the heavy rain but kept on trucking to get me through my emergency repair. Now you tell me what plumber you know would stick around and work through such bad weather? Well, Oval & David from Logan Plumbing did! Oh and I can't forget to mention that they hauled away all the packing materials that came with the unit I purchased and cleaned up everything. I am beyond impressed with my first use of Lane Logan plumbing. It's rare I get treated with so much respect from handymen as a 37 year old woman. I haven't been billed yet but I'm sure it will be reasonable from all the other reviews they have on Google. I mean, these guys have a solid 5 star rating there. I'll update these last few lines of my review once I get my final bill. Thank you Lane, Oval, and David. You now have another customer for LIFE!!! Now stop reading this review and CALL Lane Logan Plumbing already! I promise you won't be disappointed. Update 02/17/2020: I received my bill in the mail a few days ago and I was absolutely floored with how low the cost was that Logan Plumbing charged me. Not only did they do a full water heater install and removal/disposal of my old unit, they replaced all my pipes and even one of the drain lines under my house. These guys did not gouge me but charged me a very honest and extremely reasonable amount for both parts and labor. The least I can do now is spread the word on how amazing Logan Plumbing is out of Kings Mountain. I am one happy and now permanent customer.

My son was home and asked the guy how much it would be so he could ask me and the guy responded with "oh I don't even know" so that kinda gave the impression that there wasn't going to be a charge He was just going to fix it while he was here. He was absolutely wonderful -- fast, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. Logan immediately found the problem and explained exactly why it happened. He told us the supply hose that failed was an old style from the 1980s that is now outlawed because it's known for bursting. He replaced it with a safe, modern line and showed us what to watch for to prevent future issues. His calm, clear explanations were such a relief in the middle of a late‑night emergency. I honestly don't think I could have slept tonight with that water leaking, and Logan truly saved the day. Excellent service, fair, and professional. We are so grateful and highly recommend Option One Plumbing -- especially Logan! Vincent and Danny from Option One Plumbing were outstanding. I can't speak to anyone else's experience, as this review is all my personal experience and opinion…read moreonly, as I know not everyone will have the same experience and I also know there are some solid techs at this company (I have personally dealth with them), but unfortunately I had a nightmare experience with mutiple bad apples in my opinion, and it unfortunately resulted in the end of my storied relationship with a plumber that I thought would be the last one I would ever need, but as they say if something seems too good to be true it usually is... I thought I had found a plumber for life, but my personal experience with Option One ended up with me feeling as though they exhibited failed ownership in addressing an issue caused by errors from their techs, lack of accountability with regard to said issue and becoming confrontational and argumentative when the issue was brought to their attention. Long story short, I had a plumbing blockage that resulted in my front yard needing to be dug up and new pipes being installed in the yard. Upon completion of the job, I experienced flooding in my yard and requested Option One to come out and address the issue. They tried to claim it was an irrigation issue not their problem, but after getting another Option One tech and a plumber from another company to come out, it was confirmed (via photos) that the flooding was due to Option One failing to connect the piping correctly. Instead of taking ownership and accountability for the issue, I was met with defensiveness, along with the above stated lack of ownership and accountability. At one point in the process I even had to ask one of the techs to leave my property because he had such a dismissive unprofessional attitude. I could go on and on but I have already wasted so much time on dealing with this issue that it isn't worth any more of my time. At the end of the day, I found another company to correct the failed work done by Option One and this company apologized on behalf of Option One, as this company felt bad that I had to go through such an ordeal, given that the plumbing industry is already viewed in a negative light by many, right up there with mechanics, car salesmen and attorneys by some. You can read my past reviews to see how much I praised this company in the past, which is why I was so disappointed by what in my personal option was a complete lack of accountability and ownership by multiple individuals across the Option One company. After giving this company multiple five star reviews over the years, I cannot recommend them to anyone anymore as the trust they gained over the years was lost in an instant and based on my personal experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend them to anyone moving forward like I have done in the past.
