Recently my husband got his steering wheel damaged and wanted to get this job done right and by a true professional that know what he's doing. After some research and different referrals. He end up using Lee from Pioneer Leather Restoration from Socal and he did a fantastic job in making my steering wheel look brand new again, whew! Man he was extremely professional in how he worked, how he covered my dashboard while he did his craft, didn't even move my seat and in 30 mins was like MAGIC.... can't even tell. Very courteous in showing up on time, explained the procedure and absolute fair pricing. I highly recommend this gentleman with his service and he's mobile also. Being how anal and nut case we are with our F80 M3, trust me we did our research and vetted the top guys out! So before ya'll take it to any BMW stealers for any leather, seats or steering wheel repair... hollah at this gentleman! (see before and after pics) Keep yup the great work and honest service!

Before I found Lee, I went to 3 other places who all told me that I had to replace the leather panels in my seats and that it wasn't possible to restore it. I sent Lee pictures of the seats from my 2007 Porsche 911 and he told me right away that it was possible to restore them. I was a little nervous, but all his reviews gave me some hope. Lee was prompt with his appointment and immediately went to work. I was blown away by how well he was able to restore my leather seats from cracking due to wear and age. He even went above and beyond by restoring my hand brake, door panels, and door sill. You don't have to take my word for it, the pictures say it all.

I was really shook on how great of a repair it came out to be. Like really amazed! The photos before/after speak for themselves.. like nothing happened or not even a tear was there at all and for the wheel itself like wow looks like i bought a completely new one! We have a sofa and loveseat from the Arizona Leather Factory. The pair had a few knicks and scratches from years of use, and we wanted to have them touched up. Lee showed up on time and did an AMAZING job. When he was done they looked brand new and they are now ready for another decade of use (we originally bought the set in 2004, even though no one believes that when we tell them....but it's the truth). To wrap things up.... Lee is the man when it comes to leather repair and care, and on top of that he's a really nice/good guy!

So I got down to cleaning my steering wheel for my 2018 BMW F90 M5 and the whole wheel turned out pretty nice except for one area that came out discolored / damaged. This area is where I hold my wheel a lot when driving one handed. I was almost in tears as I really care about my car. I began doing some research as I couldn't be the only one with this issue. Sure enough, Lee's business showed up and I started going through the reviews to see what people thought. I liked what I saw, and when I came across the white F80 M3 pictures below, I decided to go for it. I coordinated with Lee via text messages and he booked me a week out. He is really busy right now and I can see why. He showed up at my home, super courteous and polite. I gave him the keys and about 40 mins later, he was done. The before and after pictures are below, but my steering wheel came out looking as it did the day I picked up my car from the Beverly Hills BMW showroom! Let me take that back...it was better than showroom condition. I was worried about the color matching etc...no need to worry at all. Lee can match it spot on. I can see that he has honed his art over a long time. I'll be more careful with my leather interior and will enjoy it even more. If I ever mess it up again, I know I have a get out of jail free card. Well ALMOST free. I will gladly support a specialized service and skilled work like this. Thank you so much Lee! I wish your business expands as your quality of work and professionalism sets a high bar. I hope this review helps in some small way, though you don't "need" it, your work does all the talking for you.

We cut a small whole in our new car. Lee gave us a Great Price.These were the before pictures. The after pictures look perfect. Dealership call him for leather repair too. Lee is the owner and did all the work himself too. Lee, you are a lifesavers.

I had a deep tear in the passenger seat of my BMW Z4 (friend's keychain hooked to the chair and tore it off ). I had been searching for someone to do quality restoration when I met Lee. He assured me he could do the job and it would look brand new. He did not disappoint! I was in and out of his shop within 30 min and couldn't believe the incredible work he had done. Just got my M Sport steering wheel restored and it looks like it just came out of the BMW factory...All I can say is what a night and day difference and it looks amazing. Lee did an outstanding restoration job. What previously looked like a weathered steering wheel with worn marks and imperfections are no longer visible and feels like brand new to the touch. If you've been searching for someone to restore your weathered and worn leather steering wheel...Lee is the person to get it done right. My driver side interior had some major wear and tear, a detail job made it worse. I hit-up Lee and was amazed by the final results on my car. Price was good and work took about an hour.

After, looks pretty much brand new! 12 o'clock stripe in a contrasting color adds a nice touch as well!

I bought a used car recently that was in great shape. I assume the previous owner drove one handed a lot with a wedding ring on though, as the left top side of the wheel had quite a bit if scratching and wear. I found Pioneer doing a Google search and contacted Lee for a quote. He got back to me in a timely manner and we were able to set up an appointment. He did a great job restoring the wheel. I also asked him to change the color of the 12 o'clock stripe to match the contrast stitch of the seats while he was at it and that came out great too. Very happy with the outcome so far!

The photos show the lazy job I had received. I take full…read moreaccountability for not replying when I first said I would. However, I followed up a couple weeks later asking if a certain date worked. I even explained that I had been busy and said the only time I'd have to bring in the car would be the following week. I paid $450 for this wrap and an extra $100 for the wrap itself. When the first job was done poorly, I went back to the shop to address the issues and they said they would fix it. I texted on a Tuesday expecting a response, and I waited until Sunday to follow up again. Instead of Lisa taking accountability, she told me I "did not reach out," which is extremely unprofessional and untrue. I had apologized for being busy, and I did reach out; she just did not respond. When I reminded her the job was poorly done and how there had been no response, she took zero accountability and tried to use my words against me. Lisa ignored my response when I explained how the situation should have been handled and how she failed to reply in a professional manner. As the customer, I should not have to teach someone how to treat me correctly or how to run a shop professionally. I wasn't trying to start problems; I stated the truth about the situation, but she did not like that. I went back because I had already paid and just wanted the work corrected. I dropped my car off again on Monday around 11:30am. The shop texted me claiming the wrap "wouldn't adhere," which I knew was an excuse. I told them to proceed because the material was fine, and if they couldn't install it, that was their shop's error. The rest of my car's wrap was perfectly fine. To double-check, I contacted the previous shop, who confirmed this shop was making excuses, saying, "The wrap sticks just fine. It sticks on the rest of your car fine. They're talking nonsense." I knew they no longer wanted to service me, and I no longer wanted their service either. I paid a good amount of money for this treatment. I made sure the job would get done. The shop told me the job would be done by Wednesday late afternoon. This was the second time they confirmed a deadline and failed to meet it. I made it clear from the start that I have a busy schedule and cannot afford delays, yet they did not respect that. Removing and rewrapping a front bumper is a 1-2 day job, it is not like I was asking to wrap half the car. I set a boundary that if it was not ready by 5pm Wednesday, as they confirmed, I would request a refund. My whole car was wrapped, had parts added, brakes caliper color change, and badges blacked out in about a week. I took it to another shop before taking it here. (Dependable Guys in Santa Ana) I am not a professional, but I am not stupid. There were no photo updates either, I had to ask for them. When they finally sent a picture, the wrap looked freshly slapped on two days after I dropped the car off. The day I dropped it off, they said the wrap did not adhere. It looked like my car sat there for two days until I asked for the photo, or it took them two days to remove a month old wrap and throw on one big piece lol.. My car is a small sedan, a CLA, not a supercar or SUV. Her words were: "Ok we will remove all the wrap and give you your money back. Come and pick it up today." She added, "You are demanding the refund so come get it. We cannot accommodate the time frame for you. Thank you we will be gone by 5 so please make it in time so we can process the refund." However, Mark (the installer) had reached out to me and told me him and his co worker would come into work early to finish the job. This was the second time they broke their own deadline, and instead of taking accountability, she tried to flip it back on me. Lisa took everything personally when this situation should have been handled with professionalism. I never asked them to remove my wrap; I just wanted the job done properly. The installer Mark was professional, but Lisa was disrespectful, dismissive, and extremely immature in how she handled the situation. I told them to leave the wrap and keep the money. This was their mistake, which took up the free time I rarely have. Even after I explained my situation, reminded them of prior mistakes, and was patient with the delays, they still couldn't get the job done on time. I didn't want or need the money back; I needed my car back lol. It was clear they didn't take me seriously, and I was forced to escalate this further, which she didn't like either. This was waste of time and caused unnecessary stress. I was frustrated because I had to deal with unprofessional and immature behavior. All I got were excuses, missed deadlines, and poor communication. This business does not stand on its word or its service. Don't bring your car here. Many shops in OC offer far better service and professionalism. I recommend Dependable Guys in Santa Ana! It turns out the wrap sticks just fine and clearly they were making excuses... 3 weeks no issues.
