Orange Auto Upholstery was a referral from a car collector customer. I have a 1975 Blazer with standard interior but this really ugly plastic/wood door panel. That panel didnt match anything! So I met with Sergio, look at this fabric samples and showed him what I was looking for. He gave me a very reasonable quote. We talked about his schedule, he was busy, I waited 2 weeks, scheduled to drop off on Saturday. Called the Wednesday before and confirmed and he was confident he'd complete the job within a week. Dropped off that Saturday, called on Thursday to confirm it would be ready and it was. Got there and blown away by Sergio's craftsmanship. Did a fantastic job! Better than I was hopping for plus added some details that made the upholstery stand out!!! Thank you Sergio!

Ragtop by Sergio

First off full disclosure you will wait a LONG time to get your project done. Sergio is very backed up, has a problem saying no to new work and has no idea how to quote time. If you can handle that you will get the most amazing work in return. Sergio's work is second to none. I had him do an entire interior for my 63 bug. Seats, panels, carpet, headliner, and ragtop. He did an amazing job. I had a couple issues after the fact but Sergio fixes then no questions asked. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I f you are not in a hurry and want great work Sergio is you guy. If you want it fast you will have to go somewhere else and pay double.

I want to give Sergio 0 (ZERO!) stars. I entrusted him with my 1991 BMW convertible for carpet replacement and some relatively minor fixes to the front and rear seats. I left him the car in mid-June. I picked it up in mid-September. Completely untouched. Not. Worked on. At. All... Perhaps I bear some responsibility for telling him a couple of times "There's no hurry..." (He came highly-recommended and I wanted to wait to have the job done right.) But really? Isn't there a big difference between taking your time and taking advantage of a customer's good will by leading them on. In the end, he was less than truthful, telling me the car was being worked on, that it would "be ready next week". It was not, but I was ready to take it elsewhere... I suppose that's his way of telling a customer, "This job really isn't worth my time."

Amazing new replacement on my Mercedes bottom seat

I don't usually do reviews, but Sergio's work as well as his employees have performed a phenomenal job. They replaced the damaged section of the driver's bottom seat on my Mercedes. The vinyl material was brittle, dry, and began to show signs of cracking. As a result, the material came apart over time due to age. However, Sergio and his team were able to replicate the same material, color, perforation pattern. The new material is also vinyl, but a stronger flexible surface that is moist. Overall, I'm impressed by his work and will likely to come back for his business in the future. I posted a picture of before and after. Check it out.

I have a lot of work done at Orange Auto Upholstery and they are by far the best auto place in Orange County. Sergio the owner knows his business , he redid my seats for my Alfa Romeo Spider and they are beautiful. He did my new convertible top on the car and it came out perfect If you want your car to look good then go to see Sergio at Orange Auto Upholstery in Orange, CA

I have a 1998 Mercedes C230 and the headliner (interior roof) was sagging. It is a typical problem older cars have as the glue fades and the fabric doesn't stick. I talked to Sergio who gave me a phenomenal price ($225), told me to bring in the car on a Monday and had it ready by Wednesday. I recommend Orange Auto Upholstery with confidence.

Great work, THANK YOU!!

My 20-year-old vehicle needed a headliner replacement, so I asked my local dealer whether they…read moreprovided that service. Unfortunately, they did not and could not recommend a company. I then turned to Yelp to find a business in my area and came across The Prestige Companies Auto Upholstery. From the very beginning, The Prestige Companies Auto Upholstery demonstrated a strong commitment to customer service. I called and spoke with Matt, who asked me to send enough photographs for him to prepare an estimate by text. When I asked whether he needed to see the vehicle in person, Matt explained that he could provide the estimate from the photographs. This saved me time, and I received the estimate within about an hour. I was also pleased that the company was located nearby and able to service my vehicle. When I dropped off my vehicle, I worked with Matt to find a headliner material in the same color as the original. I also had a new wrap for my leather steering wheel, which was coming apart. In addition, I asked Matt to examine the leather cover on the driver's seat bottom, which was cracked and had foam falling apart. Matt said he would discuss the issue with his dad who was the owner. Matt called me within two days of dropping off the vehicle to provide an update. There had been a hiccup while they searched for the right leather, but when I explained that the vehicle had custom leather installed more than 20 years ago, Matt reassured me by saying, "Don't worry, we got you." I picked up my vehicle today and was very impressed with the work. The replacement headliner looked much better than the one originally installed by the manufacturer. The steering wheel wrap looked good, and the driver's leather seat was done well. Matt also told me that they had rebuilt the foam in the driver's seat. When I drove out of the lot, I could immediately feel that the driver's seat provided much more support. I am truly happy with all the work completed by The Prestige Companies Auto Upholstery. It is especially nice to work with a local business that serves its community. If you need auto upholstery work, do not wait any longer to contact Matt at The Prestige Companies Auto Upholstery.

It was ready ahead of the estimated turnaround time and right on budget. Knowledgeable, intellectually curious, and a great communicator. The photos show the lazy job I had received. I take full…read moreaccountability for not replying when I first said I would. However, I followed up a couple weeks later asking if a certain date worked. I even explained that I had been busy and said the only time I'd have to bring in the car would be the following week. I paid $450 for this wrap and an extra $100 for the wrap itself. When the first job was done poorly, I went back to the shop to address the issues and they said they would fix it. I texted on a Tuesday expecting a response, and I waited until Sunday to follow up again. Instead of Lisa taking accountability, she told me I "did not reach out," which is extremely unprofessional and untrue. I had apologized for being busy, and I did reach out; she just did not respond. When I reminded her the job was poorly done and how there had been no response, she took zero accountability and tried to use my words against me. Lisa ignored my response when I explained how the situation should have been handled and how she failed to reply in a professional manner. As the customer, I should not have to teach someone how to treat me correctly or how to run a shop professionally. I wasn't trying to start problems; I stated the truth about the situation, but she did not like that. I went back because I had already paid and just wanted the work corrected. I dropped my car off again on Monday around 11:30am. The shop texted me claiming the wrap "wouldn't adhere," which I knew was an excuse. I told them to proceed because the material was fine, and if they couldn't install it, that was their shop's error. The rest of my car's wrap was perfectly fine. To double-check, I contacted the previous shop, who confirmed this shop was making excuses, saying, "The wrap sticks just fine. It sticks on the rest of your car fine. They're talking nonsense." I knew they no longer wanted to service me, and I no longer wanted their service either. I paid a good amount of money for this treatment. I made sure the job would get done. The shop told me the job would be done by Wednesday late afternoon. This was the second time they confirmed a deadline and failed to meet it. I made it clear from the start that I have a busy schedule and cannot afford delays, yet they did not respect that. Removing and rewrapping a front bumper is a 1-2 day job, it is not like I was asking to wrap half the car. I set a boundary that if it was not ready by 5pm Wednesday, as they confirmed, I would request a refund. My whole car was wrapped, had parts added, brakes caliper color change, and badges blacked out in about a week. I took it to another shop before taking it here. (Dependable Guys in Santa Ana) I am not a professional, but I am not stupid. There were no photo updates either, I had to ask for them. When they finally sent a picture, the wrap looked freshly slapped on two days after I dropped the car off. The day I dropped it off, they said the wrap did not adhere. It looked like my car sat there for two days until I asked for the photo, or it took them two days to remove a month old wrap and throw on one big piece lol.. My car is a small sedan, a CLA, not a supercar or SUV. Her words were: "Ok we will remove all the wrap and give you your money back. Come and pick it up today." She added, "You are demanding the refund so come get it. We cannot accommodate the time frame for you. Thank you we will be gone by 5 so please make it in time so we can process the refund." However, Mark (the installer) had reached out to me and told me him and his co worker would come into work early to finish the job. This was the second time they broke their own deadline, and instead of taking accountability, she tried to flip it back on me. Lisa took everything personally when this situation should have been handled with professionalism. I never asked them to remove my wrap; I just wanted the job done properly. The installer Mark was professional, but Lisa was disrespectful, dismissive, and extremely immature in how she handled the situation. I told them to leave the wrap and keep the money. This was their mistake, which took up the free time I rarely have. Even after I explained my situation, reminded them of prior mistakes, and was patient with the delays, they still couldn't get the job done on time. I didn't want or need the money back; I needed my car back lol. It was clear they didn't take me seriously, and I was forced to escalate this further, which she didn't like either. This was waste of time and caused unnecessary stress. I was frustrated because I had to deal with unprofessional and immature behavior. All I got were excuses, missed deadlines, and poor communication. This business does not stand on its word or its service. Don't bring your car here. Many shops in OC offer far better service and professionalism. I recommend Dependable Guys in Santa Ana! It turns out the wrap sticks just fine and clearly they were making excuses... 3 weeks no issues.
