From the very beginning, The Prestige Companies Auto Upholstery demonstrated a strong commitment to customer service. I called and spoke with Matt, who asked me to send enough photographs for him to prepare an estimate by text. When I asked whether he needed to see the vehicle in person, Matt explained that he could provide the estimate from the photographs. This saved me time, and I received the estimate within about an hour. I was also pleased that the company was located nearby and able to service my vehicle. When I dropped off my vehicle, I worked with Matt to find a headliner material in the same color as the original. I also had a new wrap for my leather steering wheel, which was coming apart. In addition, I asked Matt to examine the leather cover on the driver's seat bottom, which was cracked and had foam falling apart. Matt said he would discuss the issue with his dad who was the owner. Matt called me within two days of dropping off the vehicle to provide an update. There had been a hiccup while they searched for the right leather, but when I explained that the vehicle had custom leather installed more than 20 years ago, Matt reassured me by saying, "Don't worry, we got you." I picked up my vehicle today and was very impressed with the work. The replacement headliner looked much better than the one originally installed by the manufacturer. The steering wheel wrap looked good, and the driver's leather seat was done well. Matt also told me that they had rebuilt the foam in the driver's seat. The photos show the lazy job I had received. I take full…read moreaccountability for not replying when I first said I would. However, I followed up a couple weeks later asking if a certain date worked. I even explained that I had been busy and said the only time I'd have to bring in the car would be the following week. I paid $450 for this wrap and an extra $100 for the wrap itself. When the first job was done poorly, I went back to the shop to address the issues and they said they would fix it. I texted on a Tuesday expecting a response, and I waited until Sunday to follow up again. Instead of Lisa taking accountability, she told me I "did not reach out," which is extremely unprofessional and untrue. I had apologized for being busy, and I did reach out; she just did not respond. When I reminded her the job was poorly done and how there had been no response, she took zero accountability and tried to use my words against me. Lisa ignored my response when I explained how the situation should have been handled and how she failed to reply in a professional manner. As the customer, I should not have to teach someone how to treat me correctly or how to run a shop professionally. I wasn't trying to start problems; I stated the truth about the situation, but she did not like that. I went back because I had already paid and just wanted the work corrected. I dropped my car off again on Monday around 11:30am. The shop texted me claiming the wrap "wouldn't adhere," which I knew was an excuse. I told them to proceed because the material was fine, and if they couldn't install it, that was their shop's error. The rest of my car's wrap was perfectly fine. To double-check, I contacted the previous shop, who confirmed this shop was making excuses, saying, "The wrap sticks just fine. It sticks on the rest of your car fine. They're talking nonsense." I knew they no longer wanted to service me, and I no longer wanted their service either. I paid a good amount of money for this treatment. I made sure the job would get done. The shop told me the job would be done by Wednesday late afternoon. This was the second time they confirmed a deadline and failed to meet it. I made it clear from the start that I have a busy schedule and cannot afford delays, yet they did not respect that. Removing and rewrapping a front bumper is a 1-2 day job, it is not like I was asking to wrap half the car. I set a boundary that if it was not ready by 5pm Wednesday, as they confirmed, I would request a refund. My whole car was wrapped, had parts added, brakes caliper color change, and badges blacked out in about a week. I took it to another shop before taking it here. (Dependable Guys in Santa Ana) I am not a professional, but I am not stupid. There were no photo updates either, I had to ask for them. When they finally sent a picture, the wrap looked freshly slapped on two days after I dropped the car off. The day I dropped it off, they said the wrap did not adhere. It looked like my car sat there for two days until I asked for the photo, or it took them two days to remove a month old wrap and throw on one big piece lol.. My car is a small sedan, a CLA, not a supercar or SUV. Her words were: "Ok we will remove all the wrap and give you your money back. Come and pick it up today." She added, "You are demanding the refund so come get it. We cannot accommodate the time frame for you. Thank you we will be gone by 5 so please make it in time so we can process the refund." However, Mark (the installer) had reached out to me and told me him and his co worker would come into work early to finish the job. This was the second time they broke their own deadline, and instead of taking accountability, she tried to flip it back on me. Lisa took everything personally when this situation should have been handled with professionalism. I never asked them to remove my wrap; I just wanted the job done properly. The installer Mark was professional, but Lisa was disrespectful, dismissive, and extremely immature in how she handled the situation. I told them to leave the wrap and keep the money. This was their mistake, which took up the free time I rarely have. Even after I explained my situation, reminded them of prior mistakes, and was patient with the delays, they still couldn't get the job done on time. I didn't want or need the money back; I needed my car back lol. It was clear they didn't take me seriously, and I was forced to escalate this further, which she didn't like either. This was waste of time and caused unnecessary stress. I was frustrated because I had to deal with unprofessional and immature behavior. All I got were excuses, missed deadlines, and poor communication. This business does not stand on its word or its service. Don't bring your car here. Many shops in OC offer far better service and professionalism. I recommend Dependable Guys in Santa Ana! It turns out the wrap sticks just fine and clearly they were making excuses... 3 weeks no issues.

Henry's Upholstery does artistic, quality, precision work…read more I had a fallen headliner on a 2008 vehicle. From the get-go, the headliner was not on right because the dealer sent out to a third party, I think it was American Sunroof, to install my sunroof, but they put the same headliner back on and it was a total flop, and I mean that literally. It sagged and was air-pockety looking, as in never taut. I had the dealer send it back and this went on a couple of times and then a new one was finally installed, but it was still not 100%. It was a matter of time for that thing to fall. Oddly enough, the visors and the covered sunroof glass panel have been fine, so only the headliner itself was falling in the back, to the point of, I could not see out of my back window. Sergio's team created a new headliner for me and installed it better than when I first bought my vehicle. The work looks fantastic and the cost was extremely reasonable, as I got another quote from a company in Orange that replaced my antenna, about a decade ago, that I smashed backing up with the garage door midway. They did not do quality work. They had to drop the headliner where the antenna was placed, and reinstalled it. Again, it was never taut and was destined to fall. After 15 years, one might expect their headliner to fall, but it literally, drastically fell in one day, due to the extreme heat with record high hot weather. Although, it was on it's way down, 15 years ago, due to the slipshod and hurried way it was reinstalled. The previous folks obviously cared only about cutting corners and not taking pride in their work, as Sergio Sr. does at Henry's Upholstery. After seeing his shop and his work and how incredibly artistic and talented he is, I was already recommending his business to folks.
