Diamond Cut reupholstered these dinette chairs in the fall. Several months later, I discovered that three of my dinette chairs had a black stain on them. I took them back to Diamond Cut. Anthony, the owner, tried everything to remove the stain but nothing worked. He called the manufacturer to get advice, but they had not seen this problem before. Anthony told me that no matter what, he would make the chairs right for me. As it turns out, a black dye from my husband's belt was rubbing off onto the chairs. TL;DR: After I nearly ruined the backseats of my car, Diamond Cut Upholstery saved them! 10/10 would recommend! The stitching on both backseats of my fiance's car had started coming undone over a couple months (see 3 "before" pics with exposed foam). We had no idea why it was happening, but soon more than half of the stitching was undone. Anthony gave us a quote and put us in the schedule. A couple weeks later, we dropped off the car and he got to work. After taking off both seats, it became clear what the problem was: a battery that had been in the trunk over a year prior had leaked. The acid had traveled through the back of the seats and damaged not only the stitching but also some of the fabric on the seats. Though the job ended up being much more difficult and time-consuming than originally expected, Anthony really came through and did a fantastic job cleaning up the remaining battery acid and replacing all the damaged stitching. We LOVE our chairs. I wish the green color stood out in the pictures because the color is absolutely beautiful. I wanted to get my moms chairs reupholstered. The chairs belonged to my grandparents but they were sun beaten and had a little wear on them.
