The people at ReLeather are the real deal. They know what they're doing, are honest and reliable, and come through as promised. We had a 15-year old L-shaped leather sofa that was seriously worn in some areas with many cat scratches. Although the cost to repair the sofa was significant, we liked our current sofa and didn't want to shop for a new one. ReLeather was easy to work with and stayed within the quote, even re-dying an ottoman that was not part of the original quote for free, to ensure all our pieces matched in color and finish. They picked up and delivered the re-finished sofa in about a week - so a quicker turnaround than the estimated two weeks. While the finished product did not look completely like a brand new sofa due to a couple small seams where the leather and stitching were almost tearing and needed to be sealed together, we are completely happy with the results - looks about 10 times better than our old sofa! (We opted not to re-stuff the seat cushions as that would have cost more.). Besides removing virtually all of the scratches, dyeing and putting on a protective coating (that wasn't shiny per our request), they also restuffed the backs and fully relined the bottom of our sofa with a black fabric. The sofa finish comes with a 5 year guarantee, although the owner said we could expect it to last at least 10 years. They also left a leather cleaner with instructions, and also left a bottle of leather paint in case our cats scratch the sofa again. Getting an essentially new sofa in a week's time without having to go shopping was pretty nice and stress-free, too! read more

They stripped all the old finish off and then dyed the furniture back to its original color. They also restuffed our cushions, pillows and the fabric backs of the reclining chairs. We purchased this couch from Restoration Hardware a 6 months ago. Granted it was a demo unit with great bones, we purchased as is and took it home. We knew we had to find a company that worked with high end leather and found ReLeather on yelp as one of the top restoration teams in the southland. We called the number, for an appointment. Last November I hired ReLeather to do service on a large sectional leather sofa I have which had been severely damaged by careless tenants. I was very upset to see my beautiful sectional letter sofa with so may stains and scratches and had little hope that it could be fixed. I have two leather couches that my Dad bought in 1987 for his first house in Corona. Being that these couches are 31-years old, you can imagine the leather was pretty worn out and was actually torn up. In two weeks, ReLeather replaced the leather but was able to put the couches back in their original shape and stitching as if the couches were on the showroom floor in 1987. We loved it and wanted to see if we could salvage it. Also, new quality furniture can be expensive so we were hoping ReLeather could save our couch (and some money). So, I called Roberto and emailed him some pics of the couch. We decided to go ahead and they came to the house (on time), picked up the couch, and provided a schedule for delivery. About a week later he called and said, "It's done", and the next day delivered it. Most of the leather was restored and some very worn sections were replaced completely and it's very difficult to see where the new and old come together... it all looks 'new'. They even replaced some of the padding to fluff it up like new again. I feel awful that I have taken so long to write this review. Better late than never??? Anyway, around March I made contact with ReLeather and was able to get an estimate for our sectional couch. It originally had a somewhat distress look to it but after 2 dogs, 4 cats and my husband got their paws on it, the leather was toast. I had tried to keep up on the conditioning but it just wasn't enough. The cushions had become very saggy as well. After settling on a pick up date I was given a time estimate for completion they took my couch, returned it on time and did an incredible job! The couch was cleaned, conditioned and cushions were re-stuffed. It looks brand new and is so much easier to get up from now the cushions are more firm. We had two "once beautiful and very expensive" leather pieces...a couch and a love seat...that we purchased in the 1990s for use in our summer second home at the ocean in Dana Point, California. Over the years, from relatively heavy use as well as being in a "high humid but sunny place", the two pieces had lost their beauty, color and what I will term "solid new strength". We were going to replace them as we are in the process of remodeling our ocean home but decided to turn to Yelp to see if it could help us find an alternative to purchasing two new pieces. We looked under "leather repairs" and saw that a company named "ReLeather" had excellent reviews and was relatively close to our house. I went to their "site" on Yelp and sent a message and received a call back within the next half hour from Roberto Ramirez... one of the owners. We made arrangements for him to come to our home which he did the next day. He and his father looked at the two pieces and basically indicated they could completely refurbish the two pieces and gave us their cost up front. We agreed to the terms and they took the furniture at that time promising to return the refurbished pieces within 10 days. As promised, they returned the two pieces of leather furniture and they had done an unbelievably terrific job on the them. They looked like they did when we bought them from a "high end" specialty leather shop many years ago. We had a party at our house the other night and our neighbors could not believe the change that had been made in the two pieces. He provided a quote within a short time of my providing photos of my couch and responded promptly to calls/ texts throughout the entire process. ReLeather was similar in price to another company but that company offered only a mobile service which meant that company would need to come to my home for 4-5 days to complete the dye job. I have pair of burgundy leather chairs. One was still in great shape the other was ready for the trash. The leather had lost it's color, the chair had a small tear, the seat cushion was flattened.
