Came to bowl two games. The lane we were assigned to had someone's half-eaten plate of nachos sitting right on the table where you sit. I moved it aside. It was still there throughout both our games. At the beginning of the first game I went to the bar to order drinks and a snack. Couldn't find anyone there. Stopped a worker who was walking by, asked how I order food for the bowling lane. He said they come around at the lanes taking orders. Great... so I went back. Half way through the game, nobody showed up. Went back to the bar and told them nobody has come around to take orders. No apology or "I'll send someone right away", just asked if I want to order at the bar. Ok, so I did. Then, nothing showed up for the rest of the game. Finally at the end of the 10th frame bartender comes up and says they don't have the ingredients to make the drink. So I said forget it, we don't want anything. Then we went to do axe throwing. Nobody was working at the axe throwing counter. Had to walk all the way around to find someone at the bowling desk, who eventually went to the axe throwing desk. Then they moved us from one booth to another to another because they couldn't get the machine to work. Took a while, error messages showing up and the worker didn't know how to push the "ok" button on the error messages. Finally they got it to work. The axe throwing wood targets are in TERRIBLE SHAPE! There were several HUGE like 2 inch wide gaps in the wood so that several times the axe would hit perfectly but inside the gap so it bounced out even though it would have stuck if those gaps weren't there. C'mon management, maintain them! How much could it cost to replace big rough pieces of lumber? Positive things: the price is right. This place cost about half of what other bowling alleys cost. The place seems fairly clean and not run-down. It has potential to be a successful business. It was not a terrible experience but definitely needs better management. Management: pay attention: How to Have Successful Business 101: Stock the bar. (I see a few other review here about how the bar was lacking supplies). Maintain the facilities. Have servers clean up and take orders. You will make more money that way! Make sure employees are present and motivated. The employees seem not to care. They need to at least seem to be pumped up and cheerful and eager to serve the clients. They could earn lots of tips that way too. read more

Understaffed, rude, and not maintained. Half the bowling lanes were empty, but they still put us next to another family saying the rest were broken. Not broken but reserved for another party that showed up 2 hours later - even the workers didn't know, only the manager. We were done bowling by then but leaving them empty for hours before makes no sense. Our pins broke during a game, took 10 min to get anyone's attention to help. We then tried the arcade - a fourth of the games are broken. They take your money but don't work. Another fourth are actually broken - can't swipe a card at all. And the manager or who appears to be someone of authority acts surprised like they have no idea. There seem to be people working but they are in the back office most of the time. Some poor kid was working the desk by himself - signing up people for lanes, giving out shoes, taking them back, and manning the arcade ticket section. And if you ask the server for anything, she is rude and dismissive. I'm shocked this place remains open - be warned, it's not worth your time or money. read more

Went here 2 days in a row. 2/16/26 and today 2/17/26. Last night my mother and I brought my 2 kids to play laser tag and to play some of the arcade games. We played laser tag with no issues. Then we went downstairs and purchased a $35 unlimited game card that came with 1000 tickets. When we went to cash in our 1000 tickets, the girl at the counter said that we only got a $10 card and had 6 points on it, and that we weren't charged the $35. That we were only charged $10 instead. So we left. My mother told me this morning that her bank was charged $35 at Milford PiNZ last night. We come back today, with the same card, and the girl at the counter said the 1000 points were there. We also came to play a round of gel tag. They said they couldn't do it because there weren't enough girls working. They said the same thing last night at 7:45 pm, which is why we came back today. You can't advertise what you can't offer when the customers get there. We then decided to bowl. They said it would be a 10-15 minute wait for a lane. Understandable. But then 35 minutes later I had to find them and ask and they then said "oh yeah, we were just trying to call you." The whole building is a dead zone. Our phones went into SOS mode. So we asked them to find us when our lane was ready. They didn't do that. So good thing I was paying attention. Then the food. We ordered Shirley temples and a Pepsi. All were extremely watered down and the Shirley temples didn't come with cherries after the waitress specifically told the kids she would put them in. They usually come with the drink. So the kids were disappointed. We also got 4 $2 tacos for taco Tuesday. No complaints there. The waitress and staff are VERY inattentive to us and very dismissive to my kids when they tried to get their attention to ask a question. honestly great atmosphere, music & bowling. the food however im not gonna lie is pricey for being either too dry & a small serving size (the steak and cheese egg rolls) and the pizza very greasy unfortunately. alsoo going in tonight i was really excited to try some cocktails on the menu but was informed none were available. the truffle fries were great, but didnt come with the buffalo caesar sauce, and when we asked we were told it was unavailable, instead if letting us replace the lack of sauce we were told we'd be charged extra to add ranch. in my opinion where the main event is bowling & arcade games, i'd expect and enjoy lower quality cheaper food options, and i would have nothing to complain about but the price and quality do not add up unfortunately. and since i love trying fun restaurant cocktails i was only a little sad there wasnt alternative 'fall' options by october, since the summer menu wasnt accurate to what was available. read more

Terrible service. Servers ignore you. None of the staff seem to know what's going on and can't answer basic questions. Server stated this drink menu was "almost all accurate" but then didn't have the first 2 beers we asked for. After asking for a drink menu 3 times. After waiting 25 minutes to be barely acknowledged by a server. Many arcade games are out of order. Some you don't know until you already use up your arcade card money so you just eat it. Remodel is great and much better use of the space! Having a 2nd bar up at the bowling lanes is a great addition and the bar space now has darts, axe throwing and cornhole. There's less table space inside but they shrill have the patio outside. Arcade is pretty solid too and everything combined makes for a reasonably priced night out. Only complaint is the food. Pinz is a REALLY nice bowling alley. Everything is upgraded from bowling alleys of the past: better lanes, better seating, better food, better service, etc. It is more expensive than the PBR and hot dog lanes, but well worth it. My only knock is that the lanes are hourly and the game ends at the end of your hour (or hours), even if you haven't completed your tenth frame. Not a big deal if you expect it. I'd recommend getting two balls to use to save time between rolls, though. read more

Fun for everyone! I really enjoy coming here but have found the prices keep going up without anything to justify the price increase. One perk is that there is a lot for different ages. I don't even think this place is worthy on one star. We wbt out for the afternoon with my bf and his daughter, the shoes were absolutely horrible. They had holes and the laces were so tatered and knoted. We waited forever for the waitress to bring us good and drinks that we had to start a second game. I had to go to the bar to oay the bill in which the bartender had to get the waitress. The place had just opened so it wasn't as if it wa super busy. The waitress seemed as high as a kite. The arcade wouldn't take our cash for the arcade card and then when using a debit card we were charged a $3 fee. Will never go back here again. Also agree with other reviews with not being kid friendly with music videos especially on a Saturday afternoon. We decided to check this place out because my son wanted to go bowling and we were always going to the same place in Webster so decided to give this a try. It was a 40 min ride but they had "luxury lanes" & "laser tag" and a few other things that drew us in such as "taco Tuesday's" and "trivia night". When we got here the Parking lot was packed. It was a 45 minute wait for bowling so we put our name on the list and we bought a card for the arcade! The arcade was outrageously expensive and I believe it was half off because it was Tuesday so I can't imagine paying full price. The deals for the arcade were not that great either! Buy $40 get $5 free & then under that it was Buy $20 get $3 free?!? They needed to add an option in the 30s-ish range! But $3 ?!? What kind of a deal is that? Whatever- by the time they called us for Bowling we had maybe 1 or 2 tokens left! The bowling part was really cool- they have about 20 or so lanes which are sort of shared/split with another group. But you each get your own lane- just have to share the booth area. The only issue was you can't mess with the screen/adjust your name or anything like that- which I guess can make it easier for the whole fam. They had music playing loudly and they had protectors which I believes were playing music videos! The best part about this place is not only are there multiple locations (at least 3) but: KIDS BOWL FREE (ALL SUMMER LONG UNTIL SEPTEMBER)!! They also offer a special voucher that lasts all summer long for 2 adults (Family or whoever) to bowl with the child and it's only $29- for all summer (unlimited) which I decided to get because for 2 people to bowl alone was $38! Even though when we first walked in we asked how much For 2 adults to bowl and we were told $33!!!? I asked how/why the price changed from the initial price we were quoted and just silence. So it would actually be cheaper to purchase the summer long bowling family deal for 2 adults to bowl with the child. So I told the girl at the front desk I wanted to do that and she HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT. She was also not very apologetic when I asked about this- I wasn't trying to give her a hard time but how are you an employee of a place and have NO idea what specials/promotions they're running- especially one that you would think would be super popular!!! Not only that but the price points she kept telling me were changing & made ZERO sense and apparently the girl at the desk didn't understand what I meant so I unfortunately had to ask for a manager. When the manager came out he told me I would have to do it online because it was a 3rd party that offered that for their company- whereas the girl was still completely clueless (that's all she needed to tell me). The manager was really friendly and nice and agreed it was a bit stupid but that unfortunately it was the only way we could do things that way. Once I did it- I had to show the employee a code and she punched it in and supposedly it worked- but I swear I was charged twice for this! I checked my bank records and it shows $60 alone from there when I had spent $50 in cash (yes we ate there as well) so I'll have to make sure I wasn't charged twice because the charges just aren't adding up to me! Another gripe I have is that although the program is free for kids to bowl & you add on the parent bowlers- you still have to pay for shoes which for 3 people was another almost $20! So for a 2 adults and a 5 year old to go bowling on a random Tuesday, to eat tacos and to play in the arcade cost over $100- However I did purchase things so that next time we go bowling - it should be EXTREMELY cheap!??! Aside from shoe rentals it shouldn't be AS EXPENSIVE next time! The food was also pretty good we all ordered tacos and they were great- I couldn't believe my son ate all 3. We also ordered an appetizer of Nachos in which we all enjoyed as well! I was a little bummed the trivia took place elsewhere (next door in the attached restaurant) but we can always try that another time! They also offer: laser tag & virtual reality which we will have to check them out next year Ike we visit!! So all in all- definitely a RRALLY cool spot to check out especially with kids who like bowling/arcades. I'm sure because of Covid they are still ironing out the kinks & getting back into the rhythm of things! They also run some cool specials and offer a lot of promotions/deals. For me, my wife, and my daughter to rent shoes and bowl three games cost $85. No food, no arcade, just 3 games, 3 shoes: $85 bucks. We were put in lane 16, which was against a wall, so it was very loud. We felt cramped in by the family next to us. They were nice, but had six people. The balls kept getting stuck in the back so a maintenance man had to back and fix it, pausing our game twice. The venue itself is decent, but obnoxious giant screens with constant ads in your face and aloof teens working the desk made it feel cheap. As for gameplay, it's bowling. But, the pins are the "string" type and we (and the folks beside us) felt the pins didn't fall naturally and they removed the downed pins so you couldn't hit them to know over standing pins - a classic bowling maneuver. Summary: just way too overpriced for low-to-moderate income households. We avoided food, as it was ridiculous overpriced for cheap pizza or chix nuggs. read more

Well it's been a long time since I've been here. And I have to say... the place is clean and nice inside with fun games and so on like you'd expect. However the bowling part is ridiculous... the "pins" are all on strings... they DO NOT act like normal bowling pins. Coming here for average fun is fine if you want to have a good bowling game... go somewhere else. The food is typical pub/bar type. The kids enjoyed the video games as well. We had some technically issues with our lane and they worked on it and it didn't help so they moved us to a different lane and comped us some gift cards for the arcade for the kids. Korean Tacos very disappointing. A smear of meat paste on a mini taco. Nothing else except dipping sauce. I took a bite then returned it. Bartender informed me that the mgr would need to come speak to me. I was amenable and actually looked forward to this. Bartender was not friendly nor attentive and only 2 other patrons present. Complained about how tired she was and that we had to leave at closing which was a few hrs away. Asst mgr came out at closing and poked us with a pool cue to let us know it was time to leave. So, I've continued to go to Pinz since my original review and have noticed a disturbing downward trend. The first thing that annoys me to no end is that you will be forced to wait to bowl no matter the time of day or how busy the place is. I have to guess it is to drive business to the other areas of the place (arcade, laser tag, restaurant). My kids have outgrown the arcade, which is small and expensive with crappy prizes (typical of any arcade, really). We went yesterday and only 7 of the 16 lanes were in use but we were given a 20 minute wait time. Again, this has happened to us many times so I scoped out the lanes. The lane we ultimately were placed in was completely empty. No maintenance was being done on it. No residual clean up needed. Miraculously, after the allotted 20 minutes, we were able to bowl. Ridiculous. It would be a smart way to drive up business if it weren't so obvious. Second, there are LOTS of people working here but very few willing to actually work. I had to wait to have bumpers put up while two people actually did work and four just floated around. Same is true of the servers - sorely lacking. No one approached us until we were halfway through our first game to ask if we wanted drinks. We had to chase our server down to pay the bill. Most of the servers were too busy chatting at the computers to bother with customers. Last, they've renovated the space, which looks nice but is completely unusable. Chairs were replaced with oversized couches that run parallel to the lanes so you can't watch anyone bowling unless you stand up. You also literally have to crawl over one another to get up to the lane. No room at all to move - no passage other than the narrow space between the unmovable table and the couch. And we were two adults and two kids and still no room. Oh - I should also mention how crappy the shoes are. These are bowling shoes so my standards aren't that high. Mine were so worn there were gaping holes but all of our shoes had seen better days. These shoes have likely been around since they opened. Gives the appearance they just don't care. read more

Tried this place for the first time for bowling. They charge by the game not the hour when every other places charge by the hour. There was a 20 minute wait for a lane so we decided to get some food. The food was nasty. When we finally got a lane we noticed the pins are on ropes never seen that before. I have been bowling for more the 25 years and that was a first for me. After only one game our balls were destroyed with gouges and chips taken out of them. Would not recommend this place for anything. We definitely will never go back there. read more

Another great visit to this place and the place just keeps impressing. Not only is the service attentive and right on point with a full staff of fast moving employees, the food is really good. We had a small gathering of kids here for an impromptu birthday party here and it went off smoothly. The prices here are decent and the arcade has the latest games, even some VR and there is a large laser tag course and the bowling is really good. The food of course is all sorts of sandwiches, burgers and pizza and some really good appetizers. There is a large bar area here and the drink menu is constantly adding new drinks and beers. Today was the last straw. was told again a 2 hour wait but I saw 4 lanes not even being used. With the new renovation of the Milford Pinz, it's definitely time for a review update. I've always really liked Pinz. They consistently provide great service and a great assortment of amenities. It's also a very large and commercial type of complex considering its location, which is out of the way. I like the location since they have plenty of parking and aren't in the middle of all sorts of other retail, entertainment, and commercial buildings. This specific Pinz is the original location and is set up so that everything flows. All of the bowling is together, the restaurant is completely separated, and the arcade is spacious and in it's own zone. I recently went to the Kingston location that is an absolute disaster. Bowling machines not calculating scores properly, terrible design and layout (everything is all together which creates so much noise), and just not a place for fun. This Pinz was recently renovated and is absolutely gorgeous inside now. Everything has been renovated, and prices for bowling and arcades seem in line with competing venues (such as King's). Restaurant has great food and great service (used to be called Blue Dog Sports Bar). Ax throwing was recently added, along with some virtual shooting game as well. Only downside is that they definitely have far fewer bowling balls than they used to.... they got all new ones but now only have about half as many as they did... only wish they would get a few more! Consistently great experiences and great service throughout this complex. I would highly suggest this place as one of the ultimate entertainment venue's in the area. 5 stars. read more

This weekend we had the most extraordinary experience at Pinz. We rented the KingPin Suite as well as 16 public lanes, to host a large event. The food, staff, and chef were exceptional! From start to finish working with Caleigh Murphy and her staff was an easy and great experience. Their staff was cordial and professional with prompt service with smiles. Our guests commented how accommodating they were at the event. For our guests with allergies, they went above and beyond. The flow of activities including appetizers passed, candle lighting, a band we brought in, laser tag, arcade, VR games, and bowling, food, dessert, were all phenomenal. Their recommendations for set up of tables, lighting, video screens, and the few pieces of the event we brought in worked flawlessly. I cannot say enough great things about how pleased we were with their expertise and customer service in putting this event together.
