Ball stuck under the lane
Margot L.

Updated to add photo from the time the balls were stuck under the lane. I have a feeling this happens often as there are frequently many balls missing.

We decided to check this place out because my son wanted to go bowling and we were always going to the same place in Webster so decided to give this a try. It was a 40 min ride but they had "luxury lanes" & "laser tag" and a few other things that drew us in such as "taco Tuesday's" and "trivia night". When we got here the Parking lot was packed. It was a 45 minute wait for bowling so we put our name on the list and we bought a card for the arcade! The arcade was outrageously expensive and I believe it was half off because it was Tuesday so I can't imagine paying full price. The deals for the arcade were not that great either! Buy $40 get $5 free & then under that it was Buy $20 get $3 free?!? They needed to add an option in the 30s-ish range! But $3 ?!? What kind of a deal is that? Whatever- by the time they called us for Bowling we had maybe 1 or 2 tokens left! The bowling part was really cool- they have about 20 or so lanes which are sort of shared/split with another group. But you each get your own lane- just have to share the booth area. The only issue was you can't mess with the screen/adjust your name or anything like that- which I guess can make it easier for the whole fam. They had music playing loudly and they had protectors which I believes were playing music videos! The best part about this place is not only are there multiple locations (at least 3) but: KIDS BOWL FREE (ALL SUMMER LONG UNTIL SEPTEMBER)!! They also offer a special voucher that lasts all summer long for 2 adults (Family or whoever) to bowl with the child and it's only $29- for all summer (unlimited) which I decided to get because for 2 people to bowl alone was $38! Even though when we first walked in we asked how much For 2 adults to bowl and we were told $33!!!? I asked how/why the price changed from the initial price we were quoted and just silence. So it would actually be cheaper to purchase the summer long bowling family deal for 2 adults to bowl with the child. So I told the girl at the front desk I wanted to do that and she HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT. She was also not very apologetic when I asked about this- I wasn't trying to give her a hard time but how are you an employee of a place and have NO idea what specials/promotions they're running- especially one that you would think would be super popular!!! Not only that but the price points she kept telling me were changing & made ZERO sense and apparently the girl at the desk didn't understand what I meant so I unfortunately had to ask for a manager. When the manager came out he told me I would have to do it online because it was a 3rd party that offered that for their company- whereas the girl was still completely clueless (that's all she needed to tell me). The manager was really friendly and nice and agreed it was a bit stupid but that unfortunately it was the only way we could do things that way. Once I did it- I had to show the employee a code and she punched it in and supposedly it worked- but I swear I was charged twice for this! I checked my bank records and it shows $60 alone from there when I had spent $50 in cash (yes we ate there as well) so I'll have to make sure I wasn't charged twice because the charges just aren't adding up to me! Another gripe I have is that although the program is free for kids to bowl & you add on the parent bowlers- you still have to pay for shoes which for 3 people was another almost $20! So for a 2 adults and a 5 year old to go bowling on a random Tuesday, to eat tacos and to play in the arcade cost over $100- However I did purchase things so that next time we go bowling - it should be EXTREMELY cheap!??! Aside from shoe rentals it shouldn't be AS EXPENSIVE next time! The food was also pretty good we all ordered tacos and they were great- I couldn't believe my son ate all 3. We also ordered an appetizer of Nachos in which we all enjoyed as well! I was a little bummed the trivia took place elsewhere (next door in the attached restaurant) but we can always try that another time! They also offer: laser tag & virtual reality which we will have to check them out next year Ike we visit!! So all in all- definitely a RRALLY cool spot to check out especially with kids who like bowling/arcades. I'm sure because of Covid they are still ironing out the kinks & getting back into the rhythm of things! They also run some cool specials and offer a lot of promotions/deals. If you're from the area you should definitely check it out and take advantage of the kids bowl free for those rainy days!! Wish they were a bit closer to us in Rhode Island!!! Or open up a new spot in Rhode Island!!!

My grandson had fun bowling but couldn't wait to play at the arcade! Played an hour at the arcade with the $25 card well worth it!

What are the rates for bowling? Seems to be a trend for bowling alleys not to list price

It was $11.50 for one game including shoe rental

This place is better than it seems like it should be, if that makes sense…read more The first time we went it was a Monday night and our son was turning 21 at midnight and nothing else was open. Walking in at just after 11:30 to a group of somewhat rough looking regulars might have turned us around, but again, nothing else open. We told the bartender why we were there and to make sure he'd be OK serving him (MA has weird laws sometimes) and was assured no problem. At midnight, he had shots lined up for us, did a countdown, and then the whole bar (10 people maybe?) sang Happy Birthday. At one point the owner, hearing it was someone's birthday, came out with a cupcake and a birthday seat cover. How incredibly nice for non-regular randoms who came in late on a Monday night. A great reminder not to judge a book by its cover. In this case, both the bar and the patrons. We stayed until closing to play games and talk to some of the folks at the bar. It was a great experience. We've been back since to and every experience has been great. We played some darts and enjoyed some mixed drinks just last night and found, again, great bartenders and patrons. If you remember you're going to a dive bar, where every now and again the regular is going to get served before you and the food is "good enough", you'll have a great time. The most important part, the drinks, are always A+.

We had an awesome time here for my school-aged kids' birthday. While we love coming here in…read moregeneral, the birthday party was particularly fabulous and the focus of this review. It's well organized and there is a small area and a large area right by the entrance, flanking the ticket redemption area, the drink counter, and the employee desk. Great location for it. There's two flatscreen TVs in the large area and one flatscreen TV in the small one. Ability to turn off/on lights. We were able to fit high 20's number of kids in the small party area. Service and coordination was particularly great. Megan was our lead person, and she provided excellent concierge service. We were frankly surprised how great she was and attentive. We just assumed we'd be in for some chaos but nope, guided us, paced us, and was very attentive. You bring your own drinks and cake, and they have pizza baked in house. The pizza is really good. Wow. Move over boring kid birthday pizza. They take the cake back for you and cut it up and serve it. They clean up. They help with pizza distribution. They wheel in and out the carts with gifts (and coats this time of year) into and out of the party area. So if you want to stay around longer after the party area reservation, you're welcome to and they've got multiple carts to keep your things. The distribution of some of the credits on cards before and after was great. And the A or B on the cards of the kids to divide up the laser tag was great. And our kid got to do both times since it was their birthday. The area and place/setting is fun. Lots of different types of games. Everything was working -- a rarity for an arcade. There's better or worse use of credits, of course, as there is everywhere. I loved the variety though. There were electronic games, claw games, multiplayer games, violent and non-violent, physical sport/skill games (basketball shooting, ski ball, drop ball), and both ticket earning and non-ticket earning games. The redemption area has a large variety of choices and they're displayed well to enable kids to make choices without long queues. The laser tag area is surprisingly large and very fun for the kids. It's gotta be 2-3x larger than the rest of the arcade. The price here was great. Lots of folks will seek outer suburbs of Boston for good prices but all in this was a steal compared to some other options. And the other families loved it. Kids were raving about it through the school week, and multiple people said they're going to bring their families back here again soon and many for birthday parties.

Is it just me or is the pizza here actually pretty amazing? i have only been here for birthday…read moreparties but I am realizing that the pizza here that is made in house is different from other places and for birthday party pizza it is way better than delivering it into wherever the venue is. It's rectangular and super thick and i didn't think much of it until my son wolfed down two slices so fast i was not believing. so I had one. and i tried another weird pie called CBLT or something and it looked scary drizzled with ranch but crazy good! I think im just going to make excuses to come here again to try the pizza...the arcade games are definitely not really for little kids but pretty fun for older kids and grownups but it's nice that even if you have teensy kid points you can still get decent toy prizes and candy.
