Yesterday 8/9 my father and I went into the Coach store located in North Star Mall to purchase a…read moreCoach wallet. We settled on the Tabby and went to checkout. The employee who rang us up was named Emily. The interaction leading up to the purchase was minimal and subpar. After Emily charged our card we requested a paper receipt. She said she would get the receipt then disappeared. A few minutes later we noticed she was at the front of the store talking to a fellow employee so we continued to wait. When she didn't return, we noticed she had moved on to assisting another customer looking at duffel bags. It had been well over 10 minutes and we had still not received our receipt nor our purchase. I went to try and get Emily's attention and she ignored me. I then found another employee to help me. This employee brought the item out to us within a minute, but we were still left waiting on the paper receipt. When we finally got the attention of Emily, we told her we had been waiting and had to have another employee bring out our purchase, but still needed the paper receipt. The second my father turned around I saw Emily make a rather rude facial expression behind his back. This is something I do not take lightly in any situation, but especially at an establishment such as Coach. Emily finally retrieved our receipt and we were on our way. An interaction that should've taken a few minutes ended up taking many many more than needed due to the negligence and poor attitude of Emily. Additionally she did not apologize for this delay. We received an apology from another worker we assumed to be the manager. I own many Coach pieces and have been to many different stores and have never had an issue much less to this magnitude. I am disappointed to say the least.

This place put a major smile on my face…read more You need to understand something about me. I am a ridiculous human being. I love ridiculous t-shirts. I bought a t-shirt here that was so ridiculous I don't even know if I could wear it in public. The thought cracks me up though. If you haven't figured it out yet, Silver Spur is a t-shirt shop geared towards tourists. There are a plethora of designs on the walls to choose from. The neat thing is that you get to pick your color and size t-shirt and they add the design while you wait. I picked an absurd one and my youngest picked a cat in space design. She loves it and I love mine. The design has held up through many washes and looks as good as other shirts I have ordered online. If you want an absurd shirt, make sure you stop here.

The woman named CHRISTINA (She is a Caucasian looking female in her mid 40s, with red/ginger hair, a mole on her face, and she has blue eyes if I'm not mistaken.) started making small talk about the item being on clearance, but after I exclaimed how happy I was about the purchase, she then proceeds to say and I quote, "yeah I wasn't aware of the item being on discount! Also..., whoever did your hair...**SHAKES HER HEAD SIDE TO SIDE** it doesn't look good. It needs to be redone". I then just stop talking and then close my mouth. I let her know that she needs to "have a better day" and I left the store. After i make it back to my kiosk because I'm also working at the mall, I inform my manager and she states that the behavior of the sales associate was completely DISRESPECTFUL, and let me know to inform the manager that was working the floor about the incident. As someone who hardly shops and goes to H&M, I can confidently say that I will never go back to this location again, and I hope that H&M actually takes this seriously. *(I tried putting no stars but it wouldn't allow me)*

That was the one at NorthPark Center in the DFW area. And lo and behold, the one there had a pretty dope winter themed Aritzia arcade machine in the store. If I recall correctly, it had a two player mode that was sort of co-op, sorta competitive. Of course, the controls weren't in that great of a shape. So naturally when I was strolling around the shops at La Cantera, I was excited when I spotted an Aritzia. Because, where else can you find an arcade machine in a clothing store? I was super stoked. Walking in, I scoured the entire store for the metallic arcade machine. I saw the snow globe lit Aritzia puffy sphere, but unfortunately this Aritzia does not have the arcade machine. Queue sadness. What they do have, however, appears to be a selection stylish clothing that is not excessively priced. The staff working here are quite helpful and friendly. They also appear to wear articles of clothing available in the store. They can accurately assess your size for each article of clothing, and won't hesitate to gather and carry your selected articles to the dressing room area. The dressing area contains curtains for each dressing stall. Additionally, there are mirrors which assist you in assessing your own appearance. There are also a few chairs and a couch in that area. Would I come back again? Probably only if they have the arcade machine available. Otherwise, it's not really a place I'd normally shop at since it doesn't contain garments that I wear. It's definitely a comfortable store, and I applaud their interior design.

Soooo much merch and friendly staff…read more I love stopping into Box Lunch to see all there is to see. There's always tons of Disney stuff, Mickey ears with matching bags and wallets, sweaters, kitchenware, you name it, it's probably there, but there's also a sprinkling of anime, video game, and non-Disney movie stuff as well. More times than not I'll pick up an enamel pin or snack, but every once in a while they'll have something from The Mummy (1999) or the likes that I just can't leave without. This place could be hazardous to your wallet's health if you're not careful, but man, is it a fun place to shop.

BoxLunch is near Dillard's inside the North Star Mall and is a fun detour. The best part is that you don't have to feel entirely guilty about dropping cash on another Funko Pop or Loungefly bag, since part of what you spend goes directly toward local food banks.
