I have been her on multiple occasions. The amount of staff should mean a productive fast paced place. I've seen a lot of the staff socializing. The service is SLOW like beyond SLOW and they do not take notice of empty drinks, or forget to get your drinks at all. They deliver food to the wrong tables. i have seen the staff bowling while they are working. I ordered a salad that came out with things that were not mentioned on the menu. I have spoken the manager a few times as I am a lifelong Norwalk resident and I want places like this to succeed in this town but the poor service is just not what people will put up with. It's a great idea but poorly executed. Also they ran out of things, vodka, chicken fingers. However the food is very good. read more

Very disappointed. While I understand that my party arrived during a shift change, the service was incredibly slow. It took 1.5 hours to get 4 drinks only 2 of which were cocktails. The drinks came out after our food. 1 guest only ordered coffee and was never asked if a refill or top off was needed. Then we were overcharged for the all day mimosa and the staff had to look on line to confirm the price which took another 20+min. All in we were there 3.5hrs for 4 ppl. With more than half the time waiting. The lunch was just ok. I quickly scanned the brunch buffet - it looked good. Not sure if I'll make it back though. read more

This place is amazing. They're definitely more of a restaurant that has bowling than a bowling alley that has food. The food is great. Had the stuffed mushrooms, hummus, flat bread. Loved them all. The restaurant area has at least 6 separate rooms that look like they can accommodate groups of all sizes. After dinner, we sat at the bar to join up with another person we were meeting there. Located in the center of the place. Nice setup. Didn't have a chance to go bowling but will on my next visit. Have never done bocce before but will give that a try as well on my next visit. They take reservations for dinner and bowling, but they're still working through the kinks. Didn't impact our group since they were still able to seat us right away. They're located on the top level of the mall parking lot, very easy to find. I imagine you could park anywhere at the mall and get to them easily. read more

My family and I came here for the first time today. The staff was accommodating and kind and everything was appropriately distanced for the current pandemic. It was hard to find the restaurant at first (due to poor signage by the mall) but the staff was very helpful when we called and gave us good directions to go to the top of the parking deck. I enjoyed the warmth from the staff throughout the whole dinner. All of the food was home made and delicious. We tried the salmon dish, French dip, prosciutto fig pizza, truffle fries, Parmesan fries, and brussel sprouts. I have to say that the brussel sprouts were some of the best sprouts that I have ever had in my life. They were crispy, a little sweet with a nice tiny spice. The rest of the food was really well cooked and delicious. We had the two mocktails which were both very delicious for people who don't drink. We also had a flight of beer and they had several different brews that were great! Overall the whole night was really nice. We didn't play bocce or bowl but I can't wait to come back and eat again and try out the games. We don't have any pictures of food because we ate it all!! read more

We came here tonight to listen to the band playing outside. The So No collection mall was having an outdoor event with bands. First we were told we needed to be inside the pinstripes bar area of the roof top to get a drink. We went inside and ordered drinks and brought them outside only to be told $50 later we had to drink them inside because the outside area was reserved for a party. Well 30 minutes later no party ever showed up outside. They obviously had no party planned for outside as no tables were set up. Big fail on their part for not letting people there to enjoy the band and also support their business. It makes no sense if they were short staffed and couldn't deal the the outside tables why prevent people from bringing drinks from the bar? I should have asked for the manager as obviously the hostess was not truthful as anyone could clearly see nothing was being set up for any outside party. read more

Went to this location over the wknd for a special event during their brunch on a Saturday. We sat down immediately. All was fine. Server came by to take drink orders but one of our party left for the restroom so we asked her to come back. Not knowing she never would. We waited and waited. Multiple times she past to take orders and serve drinks to nearby tables and never came back, we tried to get her attention several times and got nowhere. I am not a fan of chains so I went here with an attitude but found nothing I could complain about. My adult daughter chose it for her birthday and they came through with a card, a nice medal to wear and a delicious dessert on the house with a candle. My open face salmon was very good and we got the flatbread with eggplant and goat cheese to start. I had the pear bread pudding which was very tasty- suggestion-serve it with ice cream. Wow! What a great place in the new mall in Norwalk. It just opened two nights ago, so they were still working out a few kinks, but they managed to make an amazing hamburger, and my wife had chicken Saltimbocca, which was one of the best we've had anywhere. The crispy brussel sprouts have a sweet and spicy sauce that's out of this world. Our waiter JD was prompt and friendly, and the manager Billy stopped by to say hello and see how things were. There's a diverse and appealing menu, and we can't wait to go back to try more things. We didn't bowl (there are 12 lanes), or play bocce this time, but it's great to have those options. Went to the upgraded Sunday brunch and was very pleased with the quality and preparation of the food. Both the breakfast and lunch selections were plentiful. Prime rib and smoked salmon were outstanding. Taking 1 star off for the wait service. Was only offered water at the start of our meal and never explained the bottomless cocktail option. Also our waitress was MIA for most of the time and I had to resort to getting my own coffee, even though it was not self service. Will probably return. read more

Had 2 different drafts which were good also.They have a mimosa special for $15 pp it gives you 2 hours which is a lot!! I was next to two women who drank 3 carafe's lol! Its great Deal!! I had a buy one get one free entree coupon, which I gave the server with my credit card but he forgot to take off my bill? I've been here a couple of times this is my me and my family go to fast and fun restaurant. The food is delicious. However, I cannot be any more disappointed on the service. I recently went on Monday, December 26 and the service eyewitnessb it was ridiculous. It made us wait a 25 minute wait. Wish I me and my family is very patient however, it was many empty tables. I didn't understand what was the purpose of the wait but the front end with a representative told me everyone is just overwhelmed end of the week. Once again, I must say the food is delicious, but very disappointing will never go back on the service to fix his restaurant. You guys need to train your service workers and the kitchen workers or individual should not be waiting so long just for a glass of water and another thing I win is on this day was a party of 10 was just walking away and never served that is a loss for the business. Like I said this time that we went was at 2 PM and the restaurant was empty. I do not understand how someplace with excellent food can have horrible service. All aesthetics and no substance. Long wait to be seated ten minutes with one family in front of us. Absurdly long wait for food, close to an hour for soup and sandwiches. Restaurant does not have a mall entrance so they prop open the exit door creating a steady stream of cold air into the dining room. Pinstripes seems to lack an identity. I want to like this place. When it first opened, we went for my daughters birthday and they did a great job. Then COVID started and we never went back. This winter they started doing take out meals so we decided to give it a chance . We got take out from there for 4 of us. We ordered meals for curbside pick up which is great and then got home to find that they totally forgot the personal pizza We called and they said they had it but now all our meals were cold. I went to the website and where it says contact us, I entered the information. I got an email right away saying they would get back to me. Two weeks passed and I wrote again and I got the same we'll get back to you. I am giving up on this place and will not go back. Just very poor customer service. read more

Our family of four visited midday for bowling and lunch. We all had a great time and I was really impressed with the service level of both the front desk and wait staff (Thanks Luis). The food was great and the kids meal was a great deal for the quantity and quality of the food. Groups were separated by at least a lane and we had plenty of room to spread out and lounge in between frames. This place would be great for an adults night out too. read more

My husband and I has such a fun time eating dinner at the bar last night. We chanced upon Pinstripes as we had never been to the new mall. Bartender Sandra Sanchez was a pure delight as were all the staff. Sandra was full of smiles, knowledgable and made our time there special. Food was delicious - loved the wings, flatbread and jumbalia. Presentation was awesome. Going to check this place out for a corporate event in the future. We've never tried Pinstripes and with a nearby favorite restaurant of ours too crowded to get seated, we gave it a try. One and done. It was Saturday brunch, so I tried LOBSTER & EGG BRUSCHETTA (Maine lobster, shrimp, soft scrambled eggs, grilled baguette, truffle). The eggs were dry and tasteless, and the entire dish was dry and relatively flavorless. No hint of truffle. Could have used a sauce over the dry Bruschetta. My husband had the STEAK & EGGS (peppercorn crusted ribeye, olive oil fried eggs, crispy potatoes, salsa verde). The eggs were poached and runny (he hates runny eggs), the steak was unseasoned, and the meal was overall average at prices that were higher than expected for such average food. The fried calamari was absolutely disgusting and had a horrible odor, the wings were COLD and my whiskey and coke was completely flat. This trend followed with the meals of the 9 other people in our party. I came here with my mom and sister for lunch on a Friday afternoon. The restaurant itself is gorgeous - great decor and excited to see they have outdoor seating for when the weather is warmer. The restaurant seems pretty intentionally separate from the bowling, which was great, because I'm sure it will help with the noise. Service was friendly and prompt.
