The place was surprisingly small for a buffet style restaurant. The cashier is located on the right near the entrance. The line starts on the right-hand side of the cashier, and the drinks are on the left side. It felt overwhelmingly crowded and chaotic with customers lining up for the buffet, getting drinks, paying at the cashier, and waiting for a table all at the same time. The booths felt cramped and uncomfortable. The food was ok. Nothing really stood out. The menu changes every day, and unfortunately, on the day we visited, they didn't have the dishes I typically get at Filipino buffets, like sisig and kare kare. So that was a bummer. The sinigang was way too sour, not just for me, but for everyone in our group. For dessert, there were only a few pieces of fruit. Price was 17.99, we added 2 dollars for unlimited drinks. My friends didn't like the gulaman, but I thought it was good. The staff was friendly, and the place was clean. Will I come back? Probably not. Because honestly, it wasn't worth the drive. June 1, 2024 - What to eat for lunch/early dinner? Saturday, had to run errands and we were on Boulder Highway. I have heard of this new buffet, or at least new to me and said one day I will try there. Today was the day! It's small but not really small, lots of tables and I love they have a half table that was the cutest thing I have ever seen, I didn't take a picture of it. Pictures of some of the menu items. Goodies you can buy on your way out the door. If you order food to go, a staff member will make it for you, as you tell them what you want, I think that's a good thing. I did enjoy eating there, as I do at most any buffet, because I can take my time and debate on what I want to eat next. We went during late afternoon so that it wouldn't be crowded. I did meet a Filipino Entertainer who was part of a Rock and Roll Band, he was dining with his wife, he was recognized by some other guests there as well. I loved that the cooks seem to be a younger generation, from the ones that I seen, and the the women were the older grandmotherly types, which just reminds you of being home. They do have 3 juice options, but I usually just opt for water and mystery arm gets pepsi or coke, I can't remember which one they had. I did enjoy the Kare Kare, Eggplant, Lechon, the small fried fish, Fried Tilapia, I can't remember the soup but it was like a Sinagang, and I was happy to see Chicken Papaya, that was okay. I was sad that they didn't have Mungo Beans. I guess the menu rotates probably daily. For me this time everything was good, and now I know that if I want Filipino Food this is good and not that far away from my daughter's house too. If you want to eat authentic Filipino food, this is the place yo be. Everything was cooked the old traditional Filipino way. They have more vegetable options. They also have $2 all you can drink juices. My favorite was the samalamig. It is how I remembered it done back home. It was delicious. The halo-halo was the highlight of our meal. What was fair was the cleanliness of the restaurant and the presentation of the food at the buffet counter. The sinigang has a lot of fats , I posted some pictures, more on bones and a little trace of meat and it was very salty.The oil fats was all over the soup! The mungo has bland taste and it has a lot of water, not creamy and the mungo bean was hard! The lechon kawali was the WORST ! because the skin is not crunchy and the meat was hard, dry, not fresh and no taste. The lumpia Shanghai tasted like extender with vegetables, it's not good. The worst sisig or dinakdakan it's over sour and balancing of the spices is very weird! Very limited food selection and no special ulam, The fried tilapia is not fresh, undercooked and not even crunchy and tastes GILIK ! Longanisa was filled with a lot of pork fats and red food coloring. The worst part is you gonna use a STYROFOAM plate ! Why just use a paper plate instead . Hindi masarap ang pagkain and lahat VERY OILY ! Ang medyo ok lang yung garlic rice pero napaka oily! The pork adobo is hard and salty ! Take note, If you need to use the restroom prepare yourself to go OUTSIDE! It's my first visit here. Saw a Facebook reel about it and got curious. I'm happy to have the chance to experience it. Food was familiar and comforting, reminded me of the flavors that were familiar to me. Reminds me when my grandma cooked for us when I was growing up. The Pork Nilaga was my favorite, then the dried salted fish. And I also included the unlimited Pineapple juice (for $2 more) and it made the meal complete. I came here for a quick bite and ended up getting my food to-go. They offer buffet as well, which I will definitely come back to try. This spot offers all the common filipino dishes such as adobo, pancit, Kare Kare, sisig, and various rice, noodles, and small appetizers. The restaurant is really small, they only have tables enough for about 20, we just got there before the rush came in. The food are good not a lot of selection but some are really good like their Bulalo and Bicol express, and fried eggplant but the others are a little bit oily or not appetizing at all. We drove far for this and wanted to love it based on social media videos. However, we were so disappointed. Immediately as we entered the facility it smelt very badly. I lost my appetite. When we saw the foodline, almost all the food has been sitting out for so long and you can tell it wasn't fresh. I had a great experience at Pinoy 1968. The facility was very clean and was busy in the morning! Workers were bringing out food fresh and you can see the food being made. I think this restaurant offered excellent selection, only complaint would be that it's a surprise for what they bring out. So if you wanted a specific dish, it's a gamble. Bottom line: Pinoy1968 is the best, to date, Filipino buffet restaurant in Clark County. I'm a Green Valley resident and didn't even know this place existed in Henderson until friends from LA came for a visit and wanted to try Pinoy1968 based on TikTok reels/short clips/reviews. They drove up from LA on two consecutive weekends and we ate at Pinoy1968 for 2 consecutive Saturdays. We all found our new go-to Pinoy buffet restaurant in Las Vegas, and much closer and accessible to me. We used to frequent the one on Maryland Parkway (which was our "go-to" whenever the cravings for Pinoy food called). Not anymore! Food: For me, everything, every single dish i tried is spot on. Their menu, we were told, changes everyday and they serve dishes that the others don't, or won't. They rotate or change their buffet dishes unlike the other Pinoy buffets where they mostly serve (and chances are - reheat and recycle the same dishes over and over again). On the 2 Saturdays we came by, they had different spread so we got to enjoy lechón kawali, fried pompano, chicken inasal, lumpiang shanghai, sisig, kare-kare, among other usual Pinoy favorites. The rice they serve is also of a good quality jasmine rice. White, aromatic, steaming hot and cooked to fluffy perfection. Buffet is $17.99 + mandatory tax. Drinks are charged separately for $2 - - unlimited free refills of 3 different varieties of all time favorite Pinoy tropical libations. Their halo-halo looks very enticing but we just didnt have the room for it. Next time. There's always a next time! Service/Staff: Friendly, courteous and receptive. They also keep the dining area clean. You can actually see the cooks behind the counter preparing food. Cons: (1) The dining area is comparatively small with very limited tables and seating capacity but that didnt deter people from waiting, and (2) the bathroom is outside the builiding but clean and maintained well nonetheless. I'll keep on coming back and will keep on bringing in my out of town friends/guests to this little gem on Boulder Highway. Highly recommended! read more

I had a day off from work and tried out this small buffet restaurant with my husband. I feel it is very cozy and a nice place to grab a quick bite. As an Asian American, I feel this place is a nice place to bring my family to eat if we don't want to travel to the strip or Chinatown and don't mind squeezing in each other space due to indoor seating area is limited. They have disposable plates and bowls for convenience and fewer dishes to wash but the utensils are definitely washable. Their buffet menu is different every day so you must call ahead if you want to eat specific Filipino food like adobo or soup. I feel this is a nice place to grab a quick bite of Filipino food for all the local residents living in the Cadence Master Plan community and Boulder Highway. I was excited to try another ayce filipino buffet coz since I came here to Las Vegas, NV I only know Nanay Gloria. Lol I came to know this place because of Steve of Rockstar Eater. Sooo... we came here yesterday around 12:30 ish. I did not expect it to be that small or maybe I just did not research enough or read reviews. Full capacity is 40. Seating is mostly like booth style for 2-4 people. Kind of a tight space you can hear the next table. It is not really for a young family (with small kids/toddler).They do not have a high chair. So in my case it is a disappointment. The food is delicious! But mostly are pork dishes when we went there. For fish they only had the Jeprox. For chicken they had the tinola and bbq. No desserts. For $2.99 you can buy a sago't gulaman or four season's juice/melon. We paid for both and did not come back for a refill although it is unlimited due to sanitation concern. Ideally you should get a new glass each time you fill your drink but I have seen some who did not then the way you refill it you have to scoop it using this big ladle which can touch the glass coz it is so big you have to be careful when you pour it in the glass. Their spoon and fork is stainless but the rest is styrofoam (plate and bowl). You could try it and see for yourself but for me I won't be back since it is too far and it is not worth the drive. In terms of the place's cleanliness it is cleaner than Nanay Gloria. read more

Worst place I have ever eaten. Came here because I saw a IG posting. Saw yelp reviews that gave this place a 4 stars. This place had few of the food that was posted in the pictures. No lechon kawali, chop suey, arrozcaldo, beef mami, bulalo, etc. the workers was all eating when there was about 15 customers, so we weren't able to get any drinks and I was waiting at the counter for 5 minutes waiting for anyone to help me. There is pictures of the food they served. A lot of them had no meat in them, we thought they was going to refill the food since they had 4hrs left till closing.
