We had a difficult tree removal project, and after speaking with several other tree services, we're…read moreextremely glad we chose John and his team at Bronson Tree Services. Other companies either wanted to simply drop the trees, didn't show up for their estimate, or declined the job altogether. John approached it completely differently. From the beginning, John was transparent about his priority of minimizing the risk of damage to our property and the surrounding neighbors' properties. He took the time to explain the SRT climbing and controlled lowering/rappelling methods he planned to use rather than simply dropping the trees. He even came back out to walk the property with us again before the job, asked about utility lines and other potential hazards, and made sure we understood exactly how the removal would be handled. John was respectful, courteous, honest, and professional throughout the entire process. Just as importantly, he and his crew worked incredibly hard. What other companies told us could be a two-day job, John and his team completed in one day, including removal, hauling, stump grinding, and an excellent cleanup afterward. They hustled from start to finish without sacrificing care or safety. Knowing Bronson Tree Services is insured was important to us, but after watching John and his crew work, we also came away extremely confident in their skill and experience. The level of control and care they demonstrated throughout the removals was impressive. We highly recommend John and Bronson Tree Services, especially for difficult or hazardous tree removals where experience and the proper removal method really matter. His pricing was more than fair considering the skill, equipment, removal method, and amount of work involved. We genuinely appreciate the skill set John brought to our property and are more than satisfied with the work completed. We would absolutely use Bronson Tree Services again and will be recommending John and his team to our family and friends.

My Disappointing Experience with S&H Tree - $8,800 Paid, Agreement Not Fulfilled…read moreOn September 1, 2026, Heith, owner of S&H Tree, came to my property to provide an estimate for removing our 129-foot Coulter Pine. During his visit, he also agreed to provide an arborist report for my neighbor's Coulter Pine, which is leaning toward our property and has already caused damage to two of our vehicles. The arborist report was a major reason my husband and I agreed to hire S&H Tree for $8,800. We needed this report to include with a certified letter to our neighbor, especially with high-wind season approaching. On September 3, two S&H Tree crews removed nearly the entire tree in one day. They worked efficiently and initially did a good job cleaning up in our yard and our neighbors yard. However, the stump was not ground down properly, requiring a return visit on September 9. Unfortunately, they left a significant mess in both our yard and our neighbor's yard. I received the $8,800 invoice on September 9 and paid it immediately in full, trusting Heith would follow through with the promised arborist report. Five weeks later, despite numerous messages, I still have NO arborist report. Instead, I've received excuse after excuse and repeated delays. I made it very clear how urgent this report was due to the damage already caused to our vehicles and the approaching high-wind season. We have now had to hire another arborist company at an additional expense because we simply cannot afford to wait any longer. My biggest mistake was paying in full before receiving everything we agreed upon. Lesson learned! While the tree removal itself was handled efficiently, the lack of follow-through, communication, and accountability has been extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, I would NOT hire S&H Tree again or recommend their services. An $8,800 job should come with professionalism, honesty, and a commitment to honoring agreements.
