I can't say enough good things about Pinky's Iron Doors. I've had their steel doors installed for more than two years, and they have been absolutely amazing. The quality, craftsmanship, and overall look of the doors are outstanding, and they've held up extremely well. What really impressed me recently was their customer service. I had an issue with a lock set, and Garrison from Pinky's sent me an entirely new lock set at no charge. They stood behind their product without hesitation, which says a lot about the company. I've been so happy with my original doors that I recently purchased two more Pinky's doors for my new project--both an impressive 10 feet tall. When you're willing to purchase from the same company again for another high-end project, I think that speaks for itself. Beautiful doors, excellent quality, and fantastic customer service. I would highly recommend Pinky's Iron Doors to anyone looking for premium steel doors. Five stars! read more

PINKYS Iron Doors - Door Sales/Installation Near Me - Vernon, California

My review is about misleading pricing on the Pinky's website and how the company handled my feedback when I raised these concerns. We purchased an Air4 Patio door that is clearly shown on their website with large black handles to open and close. During the online product configuration, there is no point where you're asked if you want to include door handles or given any clear option about this essential feature. The website does mention that "locks" are not included--but a lock is not the same as a door handle, which is a basic necessity for any door. When our doors arrived, each one had a major gap where the handle was supposed to be. I contacted customer service and exchanged multiple emails. They repeatedly insisted that "locks are not included," refusing to acknowledge that handles (or levers) and locks are different. The handles/locks are sold separately for over $500--more than 10% of the door purchase price. By calling handles "locks," not clearly presenting handles as an option during purchase, but prominently showing handles in every product image, Pinky's is using unfair and misleading pricing tactics (an unlawful practice per FTC). Throughout this process, it would have been helpful for customer service to simply admit the communication is misleading, but instead I just received repeated explanations how i've missed the point about the "locks". Here's what obviously needs explaining to Pinky's: Honest, transparent pricing matters more than you think. Gaslighting your customers, and hiding 10% of the total cost in "locks" you require buyers to purchase after the fact - are NOT the way to earn turn and followership. read more

Repeat customer here! This is my second time purchasing doors from Pinkys iron doors. I was pleasantly surprised with them the first time so when my wife and moved into a new home we decided to use their doors again for our new remodel. The quality of these doors are amazing and never had any issues with them. Very solid and made well. This time I purchased French door style for our home office. Love the looks and completely compliments our home. The staff made it a breeze to make the order just like the first time around. I am so impressed with Pinky's Iron Doors! This is my second time ordering from them and the process was easy from start to finish including a very simple pickup. Their customer service is fantastic since they actually answer the phone and when we ran into a small installation issue with my contractor Garrison who works at Pinky's stepped in and provided superior service to get everything squared away immediately. Everything was amazing but I love the swing doors the best because they made for the cutest toilet room ever! Thank you so much to Garrison and the team for making this such a seamless experience. read more

Dayne and the team were amazing to work with. We love our custom door, and could not be happier. Initially, we were hesitant as we're not local and had to design our door remotely; however, the final project exceeded our expectations! Would definitely use Pinky's again! read more

We bought our door about 6 months ago. We did major renovations and it wasn't installed until 3 months later when we noticed that all the windows on the door were hazy. We tried and tried cleaning them to no avail. Turns out the glass is dirty from the inside of the double glazing. Believe it or not they hadn't cleaned the windows before they installed them. All three windows of this door are filthy. And there's nothing we can do about it. Pinky's customer service is nonexistent. We tried dealing with them but we just hit a brick wall. Once you're out the door with any of their products, that's it, you're on your own. We intended to purchase windows from them as well but because of their poor workmanship we decided to go with someone else. A huge expense because of one of their careless employees dirty hands. They really deserve zero stars! read more

The humans finally agreed that my watch dog hobby needed to be supported. I have been barking at a door that didn't allow the visibility I deserve. I am happy to share that the doors are finally in and I supervised the entire process and checked the work of the best installer and scratch giver William Trable along the way. The male human keeps knocking on the door frame and noting they are "solid" and the female one (the spare) cares about pretty things and keeps admiring the elegant iron design and breeze. For me the open concept is what I was looking for to monitor for all dogs and passerby activity while enjoying and smelling the fresh air from the comfort of my home. 10/10 would recommend these doors for all watch dog enthusiasts! and 10/10 would recommend William for the install! read more

Talk about a luxury experience! I recently purchased custom doors for our patio and balconies from Pinky's and MAN!! I couldn't be happier with the experience. Superb doors and excellent customer service. Well priced for the quality and delivery.

It all began badly for me when I tried to change the price of a door that was clearly agreed upon. When they pointed out the price would be higher, I questioned why. The gent in their promotion videos is named dion. Sad to see an adult losing his temper in such a manner because of a question. I should have walked out at that moment. My mistake. At any rate, my main concern was with the quality of the door. I was advised that my door will be available for inspection before pick up. However, when I was there with the truck ready to be picked up. The door was not there, and it would be several hours before the door would be ready. After waiting for the door, the unprofessional young person assisting me would not allow me to inspect the door. I had already paid for the item, and I was forced to take the door as is. Since I hoped for the best, I took the door and was on my way. After a very careful installation, the door would not close properly. I contacted dionn... described the problem and sent him photos. He claimed it was a bad installation and he could not do anything about it. I asked for the steps to improve the installation, but he refused to help, lost his temper, and hung up on me. After several different approaches to the installation, another door builder came to assist me with the door. He properly adjusted the hinges, ground some of the sides, and re-welded the hinges back to the frame. The door was able to close properly. It was a costly repair for me. IT COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF THE CONSTRUCTION WAS DONE CORRECTLY. Seriously dionnn... WILL NEVER BUY FROM HIM. read more

We installed 4 Pinkys Iron Doors about 3 1/2 years ago. One of our doors had an issue with the seals around the panes bubbling up. We ordered 4 steel doors - two exterior and two interior- from Pinky's. For the money they are great doors. High quality. I will say that logistically it can be tricky ordering their doors. You've got to have at least 2, probably 3-4 people, "on call" the day the doors will be delivered because you'll get a 4 hour delivery window. These things are very heavy (they are clear on that) and you need more than 2 people to get the doors from the truck to the house. You'll want dollys, carts, extra people, etc. Lastly, a lot of door installers will not install doors they don't sell. You'll want to find a handy man or framer who will do the job (if not working with a contractor) before you buy these. We'd buy again but would have been less stressful knowing these things on the front end. read more

Pinky's doors and windows is a local gem. Having the workshop and showroom close to home allowed us ti make a adhoc visit (recommend you make an appt, but despite our disorganization) Chris Enloe treated us like VIPs, from our initial tour of the showroom to holding our hand through the ordering of both custom and stock items we couldn't have been happier with the product and the experience. read more

These doors are showstoppers. They are SUPER solid and very well made. I purchased an AIR 4 INTERIOR and M AIR 19 (9' double entry doors) for referrence. A visit to their showroom is a MUST so if you can, definitely see them in person so there are no surprises. If you are serious about purchasing ask about their spec & install sheets, unpacking videos, etc. which you should give to your installer. RE: INSTALL - Don't knock Pinky's because finding and installer is hard. Find an installer BEFORE you buy a door and it is NOT the job for a handyman no matter how many doors he says he's done. Talk to sales and get their install info and show it to installers BEFOREHAND. I hired my general contractor and warned him beforehand that this is probably a 3-4 man unload/setup and install is at least a two people. I did have an issue with a partial delivery of the AIR 4 but Pinky's handled it quickly and delivered all the necessary pieces asap for me. I will definitely buy from Pinky's again. read more

We ordered a new front door from pinkys because my wife really wanted a Dutch style door. We got quotes from 2 other companies, one for a wood door that we would need to paint ourselves and the other for a fiberglass. Both were custom orders due to the size and therefore $6000-9000. Pinkies was suggested by our friends and we took a chance because our size was in stock and not a custom door. These things are amazing: solid, heavy (500 lbs), the finish was perfect. They were very helpful when I called to check on shipping time and ask about a couple of details on the door. A couple of things- delivery took a few weeks because of a driver shortage, which wasn't bad at all considering more materials shipping is delayed these days. It came very well packaged and therefore no issues with/gouges but I would definitely inspect before install. Make sure you hire someone that has done something like these before. It's an all day install when you factor in patching/ touch up painting. Also ours was the Dutch so it came in 3 pieces (upper/lower/frame). If you get a one piece be prepared to have help unloading this from the delivery truck and make sure the installer knows how heavy they are and has a crew that can accommodate. I also had to use silicone spray for the Dutch latch but after that- works smooth as butter. 2 different neighbors have now purchased from pinky's (both different styles, one was a Getty and the other a arched Dutch) both of those were equally impressive. read more
