He not only looks great, He showed that he was comfortable with the groomer and that makes me really happy. We have had a hard time finding a good groomer since we moved up north and I am telling you we have now finally found our permanent groomer. If I could I would give 5 stars. Well, I can't rate how well they do as far as my little dog goes, but I can rate how I was treated…read more I asked to make an appointment for my 13 year old sweet natured chihuahua pug to be shaved. Nothing fancy, just shaved. Immediately and with no greeting, I was told they have a month long wait to get in, and they don't shave double coated dogs. I explained that she has been shaved her whole life and no one has ever had an issue. It's actually easy- they just shave off all her hair with a #1 setting on the shaver. My dog is sweet and easy dog to groom. I guess they didn't think she was worth their time. I'm happy to take my business elsewhere- especially after reading other negative reviews about how filthy the place is, and how rude they are. I have to agree on the rudeness, as they never responded to me after I sent pics of my dog and said she normally gets shaved every month, and I'm just here for a few months and that's why I called them. I have no problem paying top dollar somewhere else where my money is appreciated. I guess they just make too much money here, lol!

We are regular go-ers to paws and beyond. We have been taking our Pinto for grooming with Archie…read morefor at least ten months, if not longer. Archie is great with dogs. He charges a really reasonable price. Pinto gets nervous and Archie is very gentle with him. He's also very honest, and will update you after how the appt went. There's a little window you can look through to see your dog groomed if you want. Archie is also the first groomer we ever had that actually asks us what we want for grooming and will make sure we are absolutely satisfied. And he is consistent every time. Because of such positive grooming experiences, we have also enrolled Pinto in their six week beginning obedience training course. Sharon is an excellent trainer. She's patient, attentive, responsive, observant and considerate. The group classes were well done. I learned a lot about dog behavior and nutrition too that I still put to daily use. Pinto has had great improvements on his leash w alking behavior and we are highly impressed. Overall this is a great place for your dog. We have not used their boarding services yet but would not hesitate in the future if we need to. I trust them and also trust Sharon's advice in case I ever have a doggie question.
