This was REALLY good pizza. The service was ok. Some people just don't have the it. Definitely respectful. The place inside is small but they do have a patio area with picnic tables. They didn't have heaters but it was not needed then. They have single restroom. Place is clean. They offer beer in the can/bottle and also non-alcoholic beverages. 4.5 I've long wondered why, rather than slam their heads into the proverbial wall of East Nashville real estate, people don't, simply, cross Briley Parkway and settle in Madison. It's close. It's affordable. And it's adding delicious spots like Pinky Ring on a regular basis. PR had been on my radar for a while so on a cold mid-winter night, I made the trek up to Madison (parking in the few spaces to the side) and decided to see what all the hype was about. I wasn't alone. PR is in a small building just off of Gallatin and the place was packed a$$-to-elbows inside and outside. I'd called ahead and ordered but that didn't matter much. Half of Middle Tennessee* had showed up at the same time to get food. How it works (or, at least, it did when I went) was you line up in queue to either order or pick up. If you're picking up, you pay and you wait to be notified. I'm not one for (indoor) crowds anymore so, despite the temps, I waited outside. 's fine. I used to live in Chicago. My ex-Chicagoness was put to the limit. Pay attention to how many reviews mention the wait. It's real. But when you're cooking to order, are popular, and are using real deal ingredients, time becomes a concept. Plus, there are dairy-free and gluten-free options (yay!) available so all that having it your own way tends to gum up the works. My pie was finally ready. I triumphantly walked inside to pick it up, soaking up the jealous stares. This pizza was not cheap (again, you pay for good things) but it was heavy, large (18 real inches) and filled with ingredients from crust to center. I went with a half sausage, half pepperoni and I was *very* pleased with my selection. The sausage was hand-made, hand-crumbled, seasoned with the perfect amount of fennel, and wonderfully textured. The pepperoni slices were plentiful, wide, crispy on the edges and meaty in the middle. The crust had just the right amount of snap, the cheese was the right vehicle for the meat (ie not a gummy pie) and the sauce was adorned with Italian seasonings you could smell, taste and savor. This is pizza well worth traveling for. It's one of the best pies I have had in the States. But for the price and the wait**, I'd be a regular. *Maybe not that many. **Worth it. read more

Pinky Ring Pizza! I have seen it posted a lot recently so I knew I had to try it out myself. I finally got the opportunity today. The inside is a small space but does have a counter on both sides so there is ample seating. There is minimal decoration and outdoor seating as well. I walked in and was immediately greeted and asked what I would like. I said I want the daily special (2 slices and a drink for $12/13), but that I wanted the worker to choose my slices for me. They did not disappoint! I got the Sicilian square, and the beach body slice. I am very picky with most foods, specifically pizza because I do not handle grease well. Neither of these slices had an ounce of grease on them. The Sicilian had a sharp basil taste and the sauce was not too sweet either, you could taste the fresh cheese grated on top as well. It was great! The beach body slice had spinach, mozzarella, garlic, roasted red peppers and chicken. The spinach and red peppers tasted SO fresh, you can always taste quality ingredients and this was no exception. Overall I really liked the experience and recommend it to anyone else who hasn't tried yet! read more

This pizza spot is such a good find in Madison. The workers are really attentive and food is ready quickly. Parking is shared with the Mexican place next door but there's parking in front as well. The porchetta slice was my favorite! The balsamic glaze tied all the flavors really well. Tasted sweet and savory. read more

Good amount of parking - with an order at a counter system. You can wait inside at a couple of bar stool tables but if the weather is decent - go sit outside on the big patio! This spot is pretty expensive but the pizzas are very large so keep that in mind when ordering. They will also let you do a half and half. When you walk in there are a few seats inside but more seating outside under a covered porch. When we walked in we were quickly greeted by a really nice young man. He asked if this was our first time which it was and he very kindly helped us through the menu. I got a slice of Nashville hot pickle pizza and a slice of pepperoni, my wife got a slice of Hawaiian. WOW this pizza is excellent! The inside is so cute too, branding is really on point! The service was great too, everyone was friendly. We got a pizza that was Half Forager Pizza and half New Haven Red. The Forager was incredible! I don't like sweet good at all, and the fig on top really wasn't super sweet. It went perfectly with the white sauce, smoked provolone, fresh arugula and veggies. Literally SO good! The New Haven- this was very peppery and not what I expected! But it was really really good. The Gorgonzilla- very sweet. It was flavorful and worth the try, but depends on whether or not you like a sweet tasting pizza. I also love that this location offer slices of pizza for $6. We're talking about a Costco sized slice if you know what I mean! There is also a fridge full of beers, sours, etc if you are wanting alcohol. Also the undercarriage was perfect. Awesome place and they put a lot of work into it. The vibes get an A+ in my book. Just fell a bit short honestly. This is probably one of the better slices of pizza you'll get in Nashville. Being from the NY/NJ area it isn't super close but better than most spots in the area. (I understand not every pizzeria strives to recreate the NY Slice) I can't justify the price unfortunately , we paid about 42 bucks for a full pizza and 2 cokes. The pizza pie was on the smaller side for being 18 inches. I wish it was a bit more affordable for Pizza. The staff was great, all the guys in there seem to enjoy being there and they are extremely helpful. read more
