This was REALLY good pizza. The service was ok. Some people just don't have the it. Definitely respectful. The place inside is small but they do have a patio area with picnic tables. They didn't have heaters but it was not needed then. They have single restroom. Place is clean. They offer beer in the can/bottle and also non-alcoholic beverages. I will definitely come back when in the area when possible. Come check them out. read more

Very solid pizza. Classic NY style thin crust. We got the original pepperoni, the hot honey, and the dill pickle. The hot honey was hands down my favorite of the three. Really nice crisp to the crust too, not too doughy. read more

4.5 I've long wondered why, rather than slam their heads into the proverbial wall of East Nashville real estate, people don't, simply, cross Briley Parkway and settle in Madison. It's close. It's affordable. And it's adding delicious spots like Pinky Ring on a regular basis. PR had been on my radar for a while so on a cold mid-winter night, I made the trek up to Madison (parking in the few spaces to the side) and decided to see what all the hype was about. I wasn't alone. PR is in a small building just off of Gallatin and the place was packed a$$-to-elbows inside and outside. I'd called ahead and ordered but that didn't matter much. Half of Middle Tennessee* had showed up at the same time to get food. How it works (or, at least, it did when I went) was you line up in queue to either order or pick up. If you're picking up, you pay and you wait to be notified. I'm not one for (indoor) crowds anymore so, despite the temps, I waited outside. 's fine. I used to live in Chicago. My ex-Chicagoness was put to the limit. Pay attention to how many reviews mention the wait. It's real. But when you're cooking to order, are popular, and are using real deal ingredients, time becomes a concept. Plus, there are dairy-free and gluten-free options (yay!) available so all that having it your own way tends to gum up the works. My pie was finally ready. I triumphantly walked inside to pick it up, soaking up the jealous stares. This pizza was not cheap (again, you pay for good things) but it was heavy, large (18 real inches) and filled with ingredients from crust to center. I went with a half sausage, half pepperoni and I was *very* pleased with my selection. The sausage was hand-made, hand-crumbled, seasoned with the perfect amount of fennel, and wonderfully textured. The pepperoni slices were plentiful, wide, crispy on the edges and meaty in the middle. The crust had just the right amount of snap, the cheese was the right vehicle for the meat (ie not a gummy pie) and the sauce was adorned with Italian seasonings you could smell, taste and savor. This is pizza well worth traveling for. It's one of the best pies I have had in the States. But for the price and the wait**, I'd be a regular. *Maybe not that many. **Worth it. read more

Pinky Ring Pizza! I have seen it posted a lot recently so I knew I had to try it out myself. I finally got the opportunity today. The inside is a small space but does have a counter on both sides so there is ample seating. There is minimal decoration and outdoor seating as well. I walked in and was immediately greeted and asked what I would like. I said I want the daily special (2 slices and a drink for $12/13), but that I wanted the worker to choose my slices for me. They did not disappoint! I got the Sicilian square, and the beach body slice. I am very picky with most foods, specifically pizza because I do not handle grease well. Neither of these slices had an ounce of grease on them. The Sicilian had a sharp basil taste and the sauce was not too sweet either, you could taste the fresh cheese grated on top as well. It was great! The beach body slice had spinach, mozzarella, garlic, roasted red peppers and chicken. The spinach and red peppers tasted SO fresh, you can always taste quality ingredients and this was no exception. Overall I really liked the experience and recommend it to anyone else who hasn't tried yet! read more

Excellent pizza that wasn't full of grease. The cheese to tomato sauce ratio is immaculate I just wish the prices were a little more affordable. The inside is small, it's more of a grab & go spot. read more

PR is good and close to NY but it didn't make me want to come back. We've been trying all the pizza in Nashville since we moved here and I'd say this is probably #4 or #5 on list for us compared to other places. The salad was also not good and didn't taste fresh. The slice or two I had were fairly good though and sauce is good! Being from NY I am super picky and will say this is close but not all the way there for me! read more

It was okay pizza. I judge a pizza place by whether you HAVE to eat it fresh or if you can take it home hear it back up and it's still delicious. It wasn't bad pizza, but it wasn't good to go. I'm going to try again and eat it fresh to see if I find it better. read more

This pizza spot is such a good find in Madison. The workers are really attentive and food is ready quickly. Parking is shared with the Mexican place next door but there's parking in front as well. The porchetta slice was my favorite! The balsamic glaze tied all the flavors really well. Tasted sweet and savory. read more

Saw this pizza place recommended by XPLR.NASH recently and wanted to try it out....and I wasn't disappointed! Cute place with indoor counter height seating plus outside seating. The vibe was great and the pizza was even better! Great whole pizza selections available and daily rotating lunch individual slice options too. I want to give 5 stars, genuinely. My only qualm is the price and location. The pizza is good, but it feels like I'm overpaying. I absolutely love pizza. I love New York style pies. I love the vibe of pinky ring. I want to eat it every week, but in this economy I can't swing $85 for two pizzas all in. The staff seems happy and they are busy, but man oh man does it hurt the wallet. read more

Good amount of parking - with an order at a counter system. You can wait inside at a couple of bar stool tables but if the weather is decent - go sit outside on the big patio! This spot is pretty expensive but the pizzas are very large so keep that in mind when ordering. They will also let you do a half and half. I'd skip the salad next time but the cheese bread was also a vibe. Worth a visit for sure! read more

Blown away! The most flavorful pizza in Nashville. I am claiming PRP as my new favorite in town. Can't wait to return.

If you're looking for New York Style then this is hands down the best in Nashville. Puts the others to Shame.

The service was good, the inside is a cute ACed seating area, and there's also a cute covered outdoor eating area. The pizza was awesome (I got the margherita. I will definitely be back to try more. read more

My friend Tony and I had lunch at Pinky's today! 2 large NY slices and a can of coke or a bottle of water $13! I had a Pepperoni with Hot Honey and a cheese slice. Outstanding! Service is very fast! More of an order take home! But a huge Patio for good weather. We will definitely be retuning for one of their specialty pizza's! PINKY RING is one of the top places on my List! WOW this pizza is excellent! The inside is so cute too, branding is really on point! The service was great too, everyone was friendly. We got a pizza that was Half Forager Pizza and half New Haven Red. The Forager was incredible! I don't like sweet good at all, and the fig on top really wasn't super sweet. It went perfectly with the white sauce, smoked provolone, fresh arugula and veggies. Literally SO good! The New Haven- this was very peppery and not what I expected! But it was really really good. The Gorgonzilla- very sweet. It was flavorful and worth the try, but depends on whether or not you like a sweet tasting pizza. I also love that this location offer slices of pizza for $6. We're talking about a Costco sized slice if you know what I mean! There is also a fridge full of beers, sours, etc if you are wanting alcohol. Also the undercarriage was perfect. I was so surprised and can't wait to go back. Overall, this is the best pizza I've had in Nashville so far. read more

Awesome place and they put a lot of work into it. The vibes get an A+ in my book. Just fell a bit short honestly. This is probably one of the better slices of pizza you'll get in Nashville. Being from the NY/NJ area it isn't super close but better than most spots in the area. (I understand not every pizzeria strives to recreate the NY Slice) I can't justify the price unfortunately , we paid about 42 bucks for a full pizza and 2 cokes. The pizza pie was on the smaller side for being 18 inches. I wish it was a bit more affordable for Pizza. The staff was great, all the guys in there seem to enjoy being there and they are extremely helpful. read more

My husband and I both grew up in New York. We are both "pizza snobs," though he is much more of a pizza enthusiast. He'd eat it every day! A friend told us about Pinky Ring Pizza. What a find! When you walk in there are a few seats inside but more seating outside under a covered porch. When we walked in we were quickly greeted by a really nice young man. He asked if this was our first time which it was and he very kindly helped us through the menu. I got a slice of Nashville hot pickle pizza and a slice of pepperoni, my wife got a slice of Hawaiian. We also got an order of the garlic bread. The pizza was divine/ amazing!!! The crust was perfection. The garlic bread was very crispy and it was delicious as well. I cannot wait to go back to this place again and again. read more

Nope. Not my style. Their Margherita version is just too heavy. Too much sauce drowns out the pie. No need for added tomato slices. Get the tomato pie. $40 bucks for half a soggy slice and a soda. read more

The pizza here was great. I enjoyed the portion size for the pizza slice and wasn't priced too high. The service was great with food served with smiling faces. The inside area was lit and decorated a little throwback. Plenty of space outside to sit and a couple spots inside too. Great pizza! Really too notch. I don't really have a favorite pizza place here in nashville, but this is definitely my new go to. Thin, crispy brick oven with absolutely top shelf ingredients. I did takeout so service was just someone handing me a box through a window. No complaints There was no ambience. The neighborhood is rough!!! But the place itself looked nice and clean from the outside ‍ I was just there for the pizza, and it did NOT disappoint read more

If you're looking for a spot for a quick NY style slice or a whole pie, this is it! We came about an hour before close and waited about 30 mins for what was THE BEST NY style pizza around. Perfect amount of sauce, cheese and topping. The foldable golden thin crust is the best. From the owner at the counter to the fellas in the back making the pies, nothing but friendly! Place has counters to eat at or you can eat outside on the covered patio. Everything was clean from the floors to the bathrooms. We will definitely be back for lunch when they serve single slices from open to 3p! read more

The pizza here is definitely tasty, great crust and flavor. The pies are small for the price, and it's hard to justify the cost. And for what they charge, you'd expect something more substantial. Worth trying once, but not sure I'd come back regularly. Tasty doesn't always mean worth it, and this place pushes that line hard! Nice seating area too!! read more

The best pizza outside NY. Hands down. Frankie's is very very close. But my mind is blown. Apologies for not taking a pic!

Let me start with the ambiance and service. We walked in and we're immediately greeted by the entire front of house staff. They walked us through the menu, what their favorite toppings were and how their pizza was unique. The front of house man told us the history of the naming of the restaurant, and the why behind the story which was a very unique experience for us. The food was pretty good. It's made to order. We ordered the Bianca with sausage and it was pretty good. Very similar to 5 points pizza. The pizza was very very greasy but it wasn't overwhelmingly garlicky like most biancas. Will definitely return based upon the service alone, however the prices are very very high. Had to lower down to 3 stars because the cheesecake was abysmal. read more

First visit and really great spot for pie and good vibes. Owners are super cool and friendly. Pizza was made to perfection. I will say that if your worried about the portion size or if it will be enough food? Don't... Plenty of fresh ingredients and thoughtfully prepared with pride and skill. It was well worth skipping the usual in the 37206. I will make the trip out to collect this solid pizza made by a team of friends with passion for great food and service. I always appreciate local beer (Bear Walker 16oz) at a local restaurant on small business Saturday.
