Well, it is vacation. And we recently found out my wife and I are expecting. So what better reason to indulge ourselves and treat ourselves to a pedicure! We used Yelp and all of you awesome Yelpers to help us find this well reviewed nail salon near where we're staying. Based on others' reviews we felt good about Pinky Nails, and I would have to say they were correct. The facility itself was very well kept and attractive. The massage chairs were all newer and in good condition. The ladies performing our pedicures were very kind and sociable (without being overly sociable!) They were very good at their job and made the experience comfortable and enjoyable, especially for a first-timer like myself. read more

Just had the Best Mani-Pedi ever in this area. Was a walk in right when they opened, but they took me right away. Dip for the nails and gel toes. Perfect on the asked for preferences, rounded nails and not too long, so to do computer work. Salon is very comfortable and the staff super nice. Highly recommend. not the best - very expensive poor customer service. my sister and we're charged almost $200 for 2 pedicures and 1 manicure. very poor massage and 2 days later my nails are chipped. The first two times I did my nails here Kevin did them and they turned out great and he was very attentive and easy to communicate with. The third time it was a different young man and even though I asked him to trim my cuticles he just did the dip right over my grown out cuticles and when he was finished he just got up and walked away. I had to ask someone else to give me some cuticle oil. It was hard to communicate with. I would recommend this place as long As the technician is attentive. read more

We waited a long time to get our nails done! When the nail tech (the owners daughter) came out she was very rude and nasty, and kept insulting me! She cut my toe open and then said it was my fault for bleeding so much... She didn't even get a tissue. She asked if I was diabetic... Which I am not. The staff is very friendly. Appointments are available but I was a walk in. The manager gave me a shellac french manicure and classic pedicure. Their prices are very reasonable (I paid $57: $27 for pedi/ $30 for french shellac -not including tip). Acrylic will cost you around $25. Their salon is spacious enough to handle at least 7-8 pedicure stations and manicure stations. I will definitely return. read more

My daughter and I just recently went to get our nails and toes done and three different ppl asked and all three times I said we both wanted nails and pedicures . When it was time for my daughters toes to be done, they acted like I did not tell them that and told me that they did not have time to do her toes at all, and acted like I was lying.so they said that they could at least paint her toes , but made my daughter feel like an inconvenience and you can sense the tension from the girl .We spent $175 in there and all they did for my daughter is paint her toes because they said they were too busy but yet they continued to wait on the rest of the walkins,then of course, they started speaking in their own language, and I could tell that they were talking about us so she rushed through my daughter's toes . My daughter and I will not be going back to pinky nails, especially after how much money we spent there and how we were treated. read more

Horrible! Rude! And completely unqualified to do nails professionally. The person that did my gel manicure didn't even know the difference between alcohol and acetone. My pedicure took an hour and 20 min and she didn't even completely polish my nails. The look like a child painted them. I would definitely steer clear of this place! read more

Unbelievably excellent. I went in with 2 expired gift certificates that the manager or owner PD gladly honored. I had the best pedicure ever. She spent an hour on me and was amazing. Terrible. Do not go here!!! This was my second visit and it was even worse than the first. Plus my pedicurist kept leaving to do laundry and ultimately disappeared altogether. Finally the manager finished my pedicure a half an hour after my friends were finished. Then the manager ran my credit cards 7 times -- I found out when I looked at my statement online. I then had to talk to her and she claims to have voided 6 of the transactions. Still waiting to see if it's resolved with my credit cards (she told me card #1 and #2 didn't work when in fact I was charged 4x and 2x on the first and second). read more

Visiting Pawleys Island with friends and was able to get an appointment for pedicures the following morning. Me, my daughter and friend were seated right away upon arrival. My daughter and friend had to small wait for additional technicians to free up but the girls were welcoming and offered us drinks while our feet were soaking. The nail technicians were friendly, thorough and accommodating. Would definitely recommend. It's been a over a week since my visit and my toes still look good. Prices were a little higher compared to where I live, but didn't mind spending a little extra for good service in a resort town. read more

Love all of the technicians especially the owner, Kathy, Ta and Cheriel. They are very good at what they do. They take both appointments and walk ins.
