I purchased a massage here for my wife and expected her to come home raving about it. Unfortunately, that was not the case. During the entire session, the massage therapist repeatedly pulled and twisted my wife's shoulder in a way that caused significant pain and discomfort. We have both had many professional massages over the years and have never experienced anything like this. What's most concerning is that more than a month later, her shoulder is still causing her significant pain. The issue has become serious enough that she is now undergoing an MRI because she believes something may have been injured during the session. While we cannot say with certainty what the MRI will show, the timing and circumstances are extremely concerning. Based on our experience, I would urge others to exercise caution and make sure they communicate clearly with the therapist if anything feels uncomfortable or painful during treatment. read more

My husband and I went for a couples massage and it was wonderful! Cindy was my masseuse and she was wonderful. I swear I could feel all my stress float out of my body. Elvira(sp) was the masseuse for my husband and he only had nice things to say. This morning we were talking about it and we both agreed part of the experience is the building. Very cute place but unfortunately I received a very bad eyebrow wax (still a lot of small hairs and not shaped very well) and ended up with an allergic reaction in both of my eyes after an eyelash dye. The dye was put on very carelessly and ended up on my eyelids and below my eyes. Two days after the visit my eyes turned very red, itchy and crusty. The area around my eyes became swollen and little bumps formed. I went to the urgent and was prescribed ointment and drops. Two weeks later my eyes were only a little bit better and I went to an ophthalmologist. It took about four weeks of extreme worry if my eyes would be ok and I spent about $500 on my recovery. I have contacted the salon about my allergic reaction but they did not respond back. They do not seem to care about their clients well being. read more

Great place. Very relaxing and very professional. I had a pedicure here yesterday and the service was outstanding. I've never been this relaxed before. (I'm used to the "big city" nail salons that get you in and out as quickly as possible). Here, I got to sit back, drink tea, and half way through my pedicure I got a heated herbal wrap to put on my shoulders. The nail tech paid close attention to detail and was very friendly and engaging, while still allowing me time to sit quietly and read my magazine. A+! I was so impressed by the pedicure service that I came back today for a bikini wax. The aesthetician was also very easy to talk to and very professional. The room was warm with low light, soft music, and a very comfortable bed. She kept me engaged in conversation the whole time and even gave me a "stress ball" to squeeze in case I needed it. I was in last week, and was shocked to see the business is NOT following the county-mandated mask ordinance (recently extended though April 23, 2021). When I expressed my concerns, the owner himself was beyond rude to me. Not only did I feel uncomfortable because of the non-compliance, I was STUNNED at the owners treatment of a client. The spa personnel is warm, welcoming, and attentive. The facility is beautiful-- every aspect is relaxing. My therapist, Alexis, was superb.
