Stox was very accommodating. We tried to take a group of 5 people but many of the appointments were filled. On the spa day, we arrived 10 minutes early. We sat in waiting area next to the salon. It was a little noisy. However, we weren't in the waiting area long. I HAD THE BEST MASSAGE I have ever experienced. My mom said the same thing. A TRULY WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. The people are so friendly and very attentive to your needs. It was my first time getting a body massage and I am so glad my friend recommended this place. The atmosphere was relaxing even in the waiting lounge where they give you treats and water. I sat in a comfy chair when I waited for my fiancé to finish his service and I didn't even feel like I was waiting; just unwinding. The masseuse did a fabulous job. She asked us where we felt the most aches and she focused on those areas. She was so kind even when I forgot to take off some of my accessories. I am a snowbird and needed my gray covered and a trim to get me through until April. I called a couple of weeks ago and got an appointment. Maggie was my stylist and was so nice and knowledgeable! She covered my gray and gave me a great cut that felt so good! She was easy to talk to and matched my gray to the rest of my hair easily. I also got a great scalp massage when she was washing and conditioning. I expected to pay a lot more for a color, cut, blow dry and style but was pleasantly surprised that the price was similar to what I pay my very good friend back home to do. I hired Stox & Co. to do hair and makeup for my wedding. My trial run went ok with only minor changes requested for the wedding. However, my wedding day hair was not even close to my trial and fell out before the wedding even started. I had pins falling out all night. It wouldn't hold my veil at all and the veil ended up falling out as I walked down the aisle. I didn't let it ruin my day, but I was very disappointed. I also wasn't crazy about my makeup from my trial but was told before even booking my trial that I would have someone different for my wedding day. Apparently my original makeup artist was on leave at the time of my trial. I didn't care for my trial makeup, but, knowing I had someone different for the wedding, didn't worry about it. Then, I find out the 3 days before the wedding that they were sending the same makeup artist from the trial. It was plain jane makeup, which some people love, but I didn't. No bronzer, no highlighter, no brow shaping, no long-wear lip color, nothing outside of the basics. We ended up being really behind schedule for hair and makeup and I didn't have time to do anything about it so I just went with it. Basically, my makeup was ok and my hair was terrible. My bridesmaids weren't impressed either. One had to get her hair re-done bc it looked so bad the first time. For the price, I just expected better quality work. Wouldn't recommend for a wedding. I will say, the assistant that did hair for the wedding was awesome. Everyone's hair she did looked great and stayed put all night. I never got her name, but I wish she would have done my hair as well. read more

I don't typically write reviews, but Stox and Co is definately worth going to! While I have only gone to the one location at Mingos, I wouldn't hesitate to go here especially when Katina is working. Ladies, if you need color done and done right, I highly recommend you see her! She is worth it! What she was able to do to my severely damaged DIY box color job was nothing short of a miracle! My hair has NEVER looked so good! I can not say enough about her. She really is amazing at what she does! Worth every penny and then some! read more
