I finally made my way to pinkbox. I have heard many good things about it so I headed on over. Getting into the shopping center can be tricky if your not familiar with the goofy entrances. Once in the shopping center there us ample parking. As soon as you enter you get a bit of a sensory overload. The delicious aroma of doughnuts is like a loving hug.Your eyes immediately lock in on the display cases with all those mouthwatering, glaze frosted,diet breaking doughnuts. I almost felt like a kid in a candy store. The 3 cases are broken into groups and price ranges. The 1st case is the OG case where you'll find glazed, frosted, frosted with sprinkles, maple bars and the like. The cases also have fancy doughnuts like the pretty in pink, or the going bananas. One of my favorites is the love my pb&j. It has the perfect balance of peanut butter to jelly ratio. Oh I have to mention the doughcros. They are half croissant half doughnut, sweet flaky buttery goodness. The porky face is maple frosted doughcro with bacon. They also have some let's say interesting doughnuts like the pinky. Yes it a big pink doughnut resembling the emoji that looks like #2. It's a vanilla doughnut with pink buttercream, pink frosting and a candy face. This one doughnut is the sweetest thing I've ever tried Total sugar overload. And don't forget pinkys friend Pooh a chocolate cake doughnut with chocolate frosting and moose. I personally really enjoyed the love you grandma a yeast doughnut with white frosting drizzled over it with white frosting, homemade cinnamon apple filling . It's a small shop but big on taste. The doughnuts are a little more pricey than other places but your getting your money's worth in quality ingredients, extremely fresh,really creative doughnuts. Every time I visit the Eastern location of PinkBox they never seem to have inventory, and I'm talking about the basic donut varieties (chocolate bars, iced glaze, etc) not the fancy ones. They have somewhat unique donuts like fruity pebbles donuts (I say somewhat unique---because it seems like every small donut shop has these "unique" donuts these days). The only reason I docked a star is because of the coffee, in particular, the price of the coffee. The coffee is fine, but it is not worth what they charge. OH, and maybe offer more cake donuts? That would be amazing! GRADING Service: A+ (nothing not to like, and I'm including the 24 hour open in here, thus the A+) Ambiance: A- (fun place, but seating? Not much). The shop in St. George has great visual impact upon entering. The donuts are truly works of art. Bring a box of these babies to your work or family gathering, and you'll be the star of the show. I have tried the chocolate old fashion, a doughcro, an apple fritter, and the "Pooh" donut. The chocolate old fashion did not taste chocolatey. It was very sweet and heavy. The doughcro had a wonderful donut-meets-croissant texture, very unique. I tried the plain one, they have others with yummy-looking toppings. The fritter was just the right combination of moist inner softness and chewy exterior, nice flavor. The "Pooh" donut had an rich chocolate butter cream encased in a good chocolate outer coating, the base donut was kind of dry and crumbly. I have made five visits now, four in the store and one drive-thru. The in-store service is not the friendliest nor highly efficient. My drive-thru experience was unpleasant. I heard about this place on Instagram and from my family. Heard nothing but good things about this place so I wanted to give it a shot. They have a wide variety of different donuts, everything looks delicious. I picked out the Apple fritter and the chocolate glazed. The staff recommended to try a couple of different ones like glazed with chocolate chips and the Purple Rain which a Ube in it. For those of you that don't know Ube its a Filipino dessert. They just made a fresh batch of a Poop Emoji donuts and gave me one to try! I'm definitely coming back to try more stuff. I came through Henderson to visit a cousin of mine. I just happened to find this spot, thanks to my trusty Yelp app!! They had a pretty decent assortment of doughnuts. I bought a capt'n crunch one for my cousin, and a key lime pie doughnut for me. That doughnut was easily in my top three donuts of all time, including Voodoo's hibiscus, and Pip's Dirty Wu doughnuts. So we ask about other people's opinions and most popular doughnuts and she acts as if we're dragging answers out of her. Very pricey doughnuts. They have a lot of variety and choices. First time stopping in to try this place out and it was a delicious treat for the family. The banana Creme doughnut is super good and the poo doughnut looks more like poo when you start digging in it. My kid loved it and we will be back. Prices are from $1.50 up to $4 per a doughnut. I come from a land & time where mom & pop bakeries were scattered throughout every small town so all citizens were within walking distance of freshly baked goods. Breakfast was often a doughnut with maybe a cookie for dessert. A good lunch could be a sweet roll--you know, with frosting (we never called it "icing") & fruit topping--with a piece of cold meat (we never called it whatever they call it nowadays) laid on top. Oh, how I wish I could place a Wisconsin Piggly Wiggly in the middle of Las Vegas! 5 stars from all, for sure! So I've been on a lifetime search of yummy sweets. Thanks to Yelp I discovered Pink Box & today was my first visit. I had to realize not to expect a full service bakery. I was going to get a doughnut. And unfortunately I could only afford one-you know what I mean: "afford" as in calories. Well, when I only get one I can't take a chance on weird flavors like bacon so it didn't take long to settle on a nice big cruller-well, that's what we aficionados call the things I think they called a "cake bar". (See pic.) Had to take it home so I could enjoy it with milk. OMDoughnut! It could have been made in Little Chute, Wisconsin in the sixties!
