He even ran around the day prior to me meeting him to make sure the cars title was up to date. I had to drive about an hour away to get to him, but it was absolutely worth it. Nick left the car on the lift specifically so I could take a look under the car and he gladly popped the hood. He was very courteous and understanding. He disclosed anything and everything - I didn't have to question his honesty at all. He is very upfront. He allowed for me to take a test drive around the area and during the test drive he explained all of the details of the car - he also disclosed all of the improvements he had done to the car in the last month to get it ready to be sold. He provided a list as well and documentation as proof. I accepted the offer and Nick was patient enough to wait for me to go and grab a check from the bank. When I came back we had a brief talk about how to transfer the car, get a new registration and plates. This was the smoothest experience I have ever had when it comes to buying a car. Nick makes it simple, and easy. He did this all on his day off - I am so thankful to him. Nick just got a customer. Anytime I have an issue with my car, I will be going to Nick.

He completed the inspection. As I drove out I noticed the brake pedal went right to the floor, a blown brake line! I drove back and he immediately got defensive and dismissive. Reluctantly I left my car there for him to fix the line, he took an extra day making me wait and lose money on Uber rides. Then when I came to pick the car up, he says the entire line needed to be replaced and it came to 410 dollars!!! Absolutely absurd, I worked in auto parts for over 20 years, I've known many mechanics in my time. None of them would have wanted so much for something that broke on their watch! Really the moral thing to do would be to charge nothing at all, that would show true business etiquette. I will never go back.

I was told it was under warranty and I'd only pay $35 for installation. When I went to check out, I was suddenly charged $82.98 due to a "prorated" fee, something that was never mentioned before the work was done. When I questioned it, the person at the counter was rude and dismissive, saying "What do you want me to do, take the battery out?" That's not a real option, it felt like pressure. He gave a fake apology and blamed me for a "misunderstanding," but I was clearly misled. I later confirmed the battery has a 36-month free replacement warranty, and Firestone failed to honor it. On top of that, their attitude was completely unprofessional.

Suggested replacing them at a convenient time during the next few months, as brake pads were fine. Compared to the relentless upselling I've experienced at Jaguar dealer repair shops, Dan's honesty was a breath of fresh air. He could easily have indicated the necessity for new brake pads and instead honestly recommended a far less expensive sensor replacement. Dan is my go-to Jaguar repair guy going forward.

Guy told us the service would cost $50 and take about 90 minutes. Because we were on a time constraint, I politely offered $100 if the work could be expedited. He took offense, called the offer insulting, said he would not do the job even for $200, and told us to leave. We were not rude or disrespectful, and I explained that the offer was made in good faith, but he refused to reconsider. While he had every right to decline expedited service, the hostile response and refusal to serve us left me feeling unwelcome and unfairly judged. I cannot say what motivated his reaction, but I questioned whether our appearance played a role. The issue was not that the shop could not accommodate our requested timeline; it was the hostile way the request was handled and the decision to refuse service altogether. Because we were denied the opportunity to receive the quoted tire-mounting service and were treated disrespectfully when we asked about expediting it, I cannot recommend this establishment.
