What really was the straw that broke the camels back was that on my last visit they said my rotors were low and recommended a replacement (that was not cheap). I was actually pretty surprised by this as I had replaced my rotors (with them) earlier and I expected to get more miles out of them. So either: 1. they sold me poor quality rotors 2. I'm tracking my car and being aggressive on the brakes (nope...its a minivan) 3. I don't actually need rotors Turns out it was #3... I actually got the car up on jack stands after bringing it home, took off the wheels and measured the rotors with a pair of calipers. Plenty of life left.

I was a bit scared and honestly stressed out because I needed to go pick up my 4 kids from school and thought the car might not be safe to drive. I pulled into Jeff's, in the rain, and the staff there was so friendly and he took it for a spin around the block. He then raised it up to look underneath. A few suggestions were made, including new tires and showed me how badly the tread was worn. He said it was safe to drive, and this eased my mind. No sales pitch, no "must get work done right away" or anything. Just his honest opinion and he sent me on my way, no charge. Compared to the relentless upselling I've experienced at Jaguar dealer repair shops, Dan's honesty was a breath of fresh air.
