A few months back I brought my 2011 BMW 335i (E92) into Euro Performance for some routine…read moremaintenance and a few upgrades. While the service was solid overall, there were a few areas that didn't quite hit the mark, preventing this from being a five-star experience. First Impressions & Facility Euro Performance's facility is modern, clean, and well-equipped, with plenty of space for both high-end diagnostics and performance work. The staff is friendly, and check-in was smooth. I appreciated how the shop felt organized and professional, with a focus on working on European vehicles. However, I did feel the communication could have been a bit more transparent throughout the process. I prefer to be kept more informed on the status of the car during service, especially when it's in for specialized work. Services Requested & Execution I had the following services performed on my 335i: High-pressure fuel pump (HPFP) diagnostic check - To ensure everything was running smoothly. Suspension refresh and alignment - Needed attention after 80,000 miles. Oil change and full fluid inspection - A standard part of regular maintenance. The HPFP diagnostic check was handled appropriately. They performed the standard tests, but I would have liked a bit more clarity on the results and potential future concerns with the fuel system. It felt like the check was thorough but not as detailed as I would have expected given the importance of the HPFP on the N55 engine. For the suspension refresh and alignment, they did a good job improving the car's handling. The steering felt more precise, and the ride quality was noticeably better. That said, I was hoping for a little more focus on performance-driven adjustments. While the alignment was fine for daily driving, I felt there was some potential for a more sport-oriented setup. The oil change and fluid inspection went smoothly with no issues. They were quick and efficient, and I appreciated that they checked all of the fluids and ensured everything was topped off. I did wish for a more in-depth inspection of the overall car, particularly the undercarriage, but it wasn't anything that raised a major concern. The Road Test: Subtle Improvements Once I got the car back, I took it for a road test to feel out the changes. The throttle response was slightly sharper, and the engine ran smoothly. The suspension felt more planted and comfortable, but it wasn't the dramatic improvement I had hoped for. Overall, the car felt good, but not transformed. It was a slight improvement rather than a significant one. Final Verdict: A Good Shop for Routine Work Euro Performance provides solid service for BMW owners looking for routine maintenance or basic performance work. They get the job done without any major issues, but I would have liked to see more focus on performance-driven adjustments, especially for a car like the 335i. Their communication could use some improvement, but overall, they are reliable and competent. Four stars. A dependable shop for regular service with room to enhance their performance focus.

A couple of months later a totally different issue occurred so I took it back to them and they fixed it, before I even left the shop a loud banging noise that was not there before, so I went back in and told him about the noise and he said to bring it In later because they were about to close. He said no worries it's an easy fix the latch behind the ac may have just cracked. It's common he said. I told him that I would bring it the following week and he said no problem. I brought it in the next week and another gentleman was at the counter. I don't know how but I knew he would try to haggle me. Which he absolutely did. Definitely not the place to go if you want a bargain repair with no-name Chinese parts, although they can be slightly cheaper than the dealer. I took my B8 Audi here for a repair and some general maintenance based on their top notch reputation in the Audi/VW world. After confirming my own personal diagnosis of a bad wheel bearing, they clearly outlined the repair costs and options, as well as identified a few things to keep an eye on in the future. At no point did they get pushy or suggest unnecessary repairs. The transparency is much appreciated and is what sets them apart from less reputable shops. Keep in mind, if you are a brand new customer, they may request you pay for the parts over the phone when you give them your verbal authorization to perform the repair. I think this is to protect them from customers trying to scam them which is reasonable. Additionally, they don't have the convenient loaner cars or the long hours the dealer has, but people who come here don't do so for the convenience. I definitely would not hesitate to take my car back here in the future because these guys really know their stuff.

I started at Ray & Dana's Inman Auto Care. He offered a free estimate. He sent a very comprehensive list of things that needed to be done on my car. I was very impressed with the meticulous detail and the photographs to show why I they were suggesting the fix. This report made me feel that this was an honest shop. And made me feel confortable enough to trust. It turned out that all rotors needed to be changed. I paid a bit more than what the dealer quoted but got both front and rear brakes overhauled and new brake fluids and wheels rotated and balanced. But most of all I got a clear understanding of why it had to be done and the feeling that they were trustworthy. Their customer service was excellent! I live a mile away and needed to be home for telework so he had someone drive me home and then pick me up to get the car. That was awesome and I really appreciated it. Also I called several times with questions and concerns. They politely answered all my questions. I asked them to align the wheels. They checked the alignment and told me it was not necessary. This sealed the deal. I trust this shop and will have them work on my car again.

I saw the BELOW COMMENT by the purported owner William posted Mar 10, 2025 .It caught my attention…read moreas Bill's picture is shown as the Owner's response, inferring that he is onsite. To my knowledge ,Bill retired and stepped away from GT automotive at least 6 years ago. I've been there a few times after Bill stepped away and more times prior to Bill retiring. Perhaps he is still the owner on paper, none of my business. I believed that the new owners were, Julie and her husband. I did not go to GT to make friends, but high quality work. However, Julie is rough, arrogant and lacks any semblance of HUMILITY and appreciation of customers. I stopped going to GT as the front desk woman "Julie" was consistently rude and dismissive. GT does great work, however, Julie was a terrible "Know It All" . ************* July 17, 2026- UPDATE - Responding to the "Owners" response to my post of July 4, 2026.... As to my standards and expectations, Customer Service is not limited mechanical work, it also includes respect, kindness, being treated with dignity. IMO, the "Owners" response to my comment reflects an unwillingness to accept constructive feedback, the need and desire to try to insult, rather than embrace, hence, reflecting a lack of humility, or ownership, full stop. In possessing a civil litigation background, I ask questions, not intended to put one on the defensive, as it may. Julie's husband (a seasoned mechanic) is kind. I just could not tolerate Julie, who works the front desk, and for the most part answers the phone calls as well. She displayed impatience with my questions. She is the conduit to the mechanics. In any business, the front desk gives the best impression on the appreciation of customers or lack of. Julie should be grateful and thankful that GT Automotive is doing well. This is demonstrated in having a high bar on respect and kindness to all customers. My comment should not be misconstrued as a vendetta as alleged, nor do I consider my comment a "bad review" as further alleged. It is intended to provide an opportunity for Julie to receive and accept the feedback in that this is how she may come across to some. Yelp Guidelines is to rate the "Overall" Experience. It is my first hand experience. Unequivocally, I am not a mechanic, nor is Julie. I had not dealt with Bill on my few last visits, as he'd long ago retired, at least 5 -6 years ago. Once again, GT DOES GREAT WORK. ********************* Business owner information William G. Business Owner Mar 10, 2025
