I'm not usually one to complain or leave negative reviews, but our experience here crossed a line. After providing both my wife and daughter with very poor service, things only got worse. My daughter had to have her nails completely redone by another employee, and my wife had to stop her pedicure just ten minutes in after being burned by extremely hot honey. She asked multiple times for the service to stop, yet was still expected to pay for a pedicure that was never completed. What was even more concerning was what happened afterward--once we left, my wife began receiving multiple texts from the owner. This felt completely unprofessional and inappropriate. The location is under new management so I decided to give it a try. It was not a great experience. I went for a pedicure and the woman cut my foot with one of her tools. She also cut two of my cuticles of two of my toes. While I was being serviced another woman was getting a set and she was having concerns with that technician because her set was uneven. Not a fan. I called to book a pedicure for myself and grandmother. They said the earliest appointment they had was at 9:15 am which was perfect. I found out the night before my appointment, around 12:00am that I was in contact with someone at work, that tested positive for coved and I needed to self isolate. Today as I was on the phone with the Lake County contact tracing, my other line is ringing and it's the nail salon. I forgot to call and cancel our appointment. I let them know I'm sorry I forgot to call, & I let them know what was going on and the lady on the other end just hung up on me. After I finished my call with the Lake County contact tracing I called the salon to speak to the owner. I had a woman say she was the owner and was so rude about me not coming to my appointment. I'm sorry I didn't prioritize my nail appointment first. The owner let me know they opened the salon early for me when I never asked for special accommodations and I never was informed they opened early for the appointment. Then she handed the phone to a man who said "What do you want"? What!? I was shocked that this person chose to pick up the phone and ask me what I wanted. I explained what was going on and he said Covid is destroying his business and I needed to let them know asap I wasn't coming. Again, it wasn't the top of my priority list after finding out. I think the health and safety of the staff and other patrons should be top priority. The owners did not handle this situation well at all. And they don't know how to treat people at all. I will never return! I am editing my review based on the owner deciding to call me and harass me about leaving a bad review and question me on why I left a good review for a different nail salon I went for a manicure the day before on the 19th at and accused me of lying. He also said he called the other salon and they told him I was there today the 20th which is a lie I called the nail salon and they said nobody ever called to verify I was there! The female "Owner" got on the phone and was trying to intimidate me. I will be uploading the call information and my receipt from the other salon because these people are out of their minds and clearly don't know how to run a business. I am contacting the health department and the BBB. I will also be leaving reviews on all other platforms so more people are aware of these clowns! They are now harassing me and I am documenting everything! The nail salon is also having people contact me via this review to tell me the nail salon has every right to act this way and I am the only one in the wrong! I could not say enough good things.... I have been driving by so many times and been wanting to stop here for a while until I finally did, I arrived and was greeted by Sunny ( I could be spelling the name wrong) she asked what I needed and I said mani and pedi, she said regular? I said yes, she nicely said to pick a color which I did, one thing I noticed is that the shop was being reorganized meaning they were moving furniture around etc, which is cool, we can all use a change , clean and many colors to choose from, she started doing my pedi and for a regular pedi I must say it was nice and she did a great job. When it came down to painting I did not realize that I had chosen a nail polish that is considered a longer lasting polish and before she painted she mentioned that it was an up charge of 5$ and if that was ok, I thanked her for telling me in advance and said to proceed because I was fine with the up charge. Pedi done, manicure, oh my God, the best ever, she got down to detail and really did her job, I could not believe the level of detail she spent on my nails, removing dead skin, trimming and perfecting, etc. She beautifully painted my hands and to the drying station I went. Oh my and let me tell you to heaven I went, she gave me a brief massage at teh dryer station which was heavenly and very stress relieving. Thank you Sunny for doing an amazing job. I scheduled an appointment here for a fill and pedicure. When I arrived they rushed me to pick a color off their wall and ran through my pedicure extremely quick and ushered me to pay then sent me on my way. My appointment was on a Saturday at 4:30 and I believe they closed at 6pm but they scheduled me and offered the time slot. I had to go to another salon for my nail fill. read more

I have been going here for many years but thought I would do a review to let people know how it is going during COVID. The salon is doing an excellent job with the procedures and keeping the space clean. I would say I am a moderate to high worrier about the virus and I feel very comfortable coming in to get my nails done. They are by appointment only which totally makes sense during this time and assures that you are not making any wasted trips in because they are booked. They take temperatures and have patrons wash their hands right away which I appreciate as everyone is looking at the nail polishes to choose a color. Everyone is required to wear a mask and they do it diligently. They also have germ guards up at each station. Ken does a terrific job with my no chip manicures and everyone has always been friendly while I am there. I got a pedicure here yesterday at pink nails and also had one of the best foot massages I've had in awhile. The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff was really nice. They were very welcoming and friendly. I also really appreciated the care they put into following covid regulations. Everyone had masks and the stations were sanitized. I'm reviewing this business after using their services off and on over 8 years. The original owners had the location set to a calming environment. It seems the new owners over time have also adopted this with one exception, the giant television. If you are having a pedicure you can not avoid the TV. On two instances they were showing comedy films with vulgar language. On my last visit, they were showing a pirated copy of a movie that was still in theaters. In good conscience, this was the last straw for me. In addition to the environment, be prepared to be rushed through your services if they happen to have more walk-ins than they are prepared for. read more

Every time I come here I leave satisfied, I recommend making an appointment because it can get pretty busy, especially on the weekend. I'm not a hard one to please with nail salons- I just want options, a no-chip that lasts, fairly quick service and a comfortable atmosphere and pink nails checks all the boxes and my no chip seems to lash longer than most places. I don't usually request a nail tech because everyone I've had has done a great job. I believe the owners name is Sunny and she is a delight as well. Out of all the places I've gone this one seems the cleanest and literally has an insane amount of color options for no chip and matching colors for a regular mani/pedi. As an avid mani/pedi "getter" I feel I know when something is good and when it's not. This place started off fine, just fine and then ended up bad. My pedicure was okay but my manicure was not. I have longer nails and she asked if she could cut them, I said no so she starts filing them shorter at which time I had to ask her to stop, I want them long. Now I'm looking at my nails and some are long and some short, they do not listen. Then in the background they are playing a movie where a young women is brutally assaulted and killed and at the same time destroying my nails. I am not one that gets mani-pedis on a regular basis but I had a gift certificate for a shellac mani & spa pedicure. Since I was getting my nails done for my wedding, I upgraded and got the french manicure and it looked great on my finger & toes--not to mention they lasted a good 2.5-3 weeks! I ended up getting a quick wax (eyebrows & lip) as well since I was already there. The service was quick, painless & affordable. I really felt as though the nail techs made sure everything looked perfect before sending me off. Will be back for any other special occasions or if I'm in the area! P.S. I tried this place the other day and was pleasantly surprised. I got gel polish on my feet and hands. They have a massive amount of colors. I felt really comfortable there. The music was calming and just the right volume. It doesn't smell like a normal nail salon. Over stuffed and like glue. It was bright and clean. The owner Jason was super nice and took his time and was very appreciative of my business. I would continue to go back every time I need my nails done. Such a beautiful and clean salon! They have the basics of nail care. I went for a pedicure a few weeks ago and liked them so much I went back for a manicure. I was shocked when they didn't soak my hands/nails for the manicure. I wondered if it was just the persons preference to not soak, but saw the person next to me not soaking nails either. My nails are usually in pretty rough shape and definitely benefit from a soak, and it's also kind of a nice relaxing thing.... great service. read more

Went here with the bride and bridesmaids to get our nails done the day before the wedding. The salon is small (4 pedicure chairs and 4 manicure stations) and all pedicure chairs were full when we walked in. We had a mani/pedi appointment at 11:00AM and had to wait 15-25 minutes before each of us had a chair. Staff is friendly and does a decent job. However each of us had one person do parts of our mani/pedi and then they would switch with someone else when they got to a certain part. It was a little odd because one girl sat there for a good 10 minutes before somebody came over to paint her toenails after she the rest of the pedicure. I stopped in for a pedicure and the technician was Julie. By far one of the best experiences I have ever had at a nail salon. Yesterday was my first time at Pink Nails. The salon itself is very nice and clean. They have so many colors to choose from. I really really wanted to love this place. I waited about an hour for a mani/pedi after being told the wait was about 25 minutes. I then sat at the pedi station soaking my feet for another 20 minutes or so while she finished another customer's manicure. I would have been able to get over that - after all, I didn't have an appointment and just walked in. My real dissatisfaction was with the service itself. I don't know who the tech was, but she was extremely rough. The first picture shows the damage she did to my right heel with the callus remover/foot file about 3 seconds into scrubbing - filled 2 bandaids with blood during my time at the salon alone, and it's still extremely painful. The second picture shows where my skin separated under my small toe on the same foot when she jammed the foam separator on just prior to painting my toes. She did not charge me for the pedicure, but I definitely will not be going back. So disappointed and uncomfortable!!! read more

Please pass by this nail Salon ladies. I had my nails done on a Friday and on Saturday the polish was coming off in chunks. I went back to get it taken care of and the manager was not happy at all. They redid my nails this time just with their base cost and clear - guess what happend - within 24 hours the "CLEAR" polish was flaking off my nails. If you are a walk-in and they are busy just ask how long the wait is and go from there--come back later or schedule an appt. for a different day. They are flexible and you need to be understanding if they simply won't be able to service you. Only on a few occasions have I seen them have to turn away walk-ins. I've been coming here for years and while a photo demonstrates an issue from a different customer please be aware that the owner did apologize for their response (find the salon on facebook). Yes, while it was a rather unprofessional comment, they did apologize for their actions/ initial response. People are obviously posting negative reviews. I just had an eyebrow way and pedicure. For the pedicure, they did lightly use a grater, but I did not feel pain and do not have any lacerations. All services I have received over the years (manis, pedis, waxing) have been consistent.
