Steam sauna for lower body. Get some sweat in a cold afternoon. Body warmed up.

First time here and tried their lower body steamed sauna in a cold afternoon. Very interesting concept. My body all warmed up and feel good after sweating for 45mins. The girls are very friendly and they also do nails and eye liner tattoo services.

Super cute beauty salon in downtown, just opened for 5 months. i did my pedicure here, the service is a bit off when the staff heard it's a complimentary service . besides mani/ pedi service, they also offer facial / body massage, eye lashes extension. cheaper to get combo set.( photo attached) the staff is very annoying to bother me delete her face, and she was wearing a mask when she works

Definitely a MUST GO pampering spot! My massage therapist was Dana. She was amazing and so professional!! I really enjoyed every minutes of the deep-tissue massage. Everyone there is sweet and helpful. I'll surely be back to Pink House! Highly recommended

My new favorite nail salon! I was in the market for a new salon to call home after my go-to place closed down. Pink House absolutely came through for me, and even got me to switch back from acrylics (which they don't do) to gel, which I thought wouldn't be durable enough for my brittle nails. The decor is femme and stunning and the atmosphere is so tranquil and calm. Even better though is the staff who are so patient and attentive; I came in with hard gel from another salon, the type that's thick and tough like acrylic, and the woman who did my nails (wish I asked for her name, but I know she isn't the owner) took all the time necessary to remove them without damaging my natural nails, starting with acetone and moving on to the gentlest drill I've ever seen. I felt terrible coming in with such a tough nail job but she was so patient. My dainty nails didn't break and she gave me a beautiful, sturdy gel manicure with accent nails. The owner came over to watch and presumably make sure everything was going ok. The pictures attached are from a little less than a week after the manicure (I didn't opt for cuticle removal, but she gave the option). I'm so happy with the set - along with a LONG hard gel removal and three designed nails, it cost about $70-80, absolutely worth the cost in my opinion.

I got here on a Sunday afternoon. This was my first time here. No line. But I could tell this place might get busy later on. Likely, you will need to make a reservation. Nice and clean. I got my eyelash extensions here. The price is pretty reasonable for SF. The location is decent. Around 15 minutes walk from financial district, 10 minutes walk from Powell station. I would definitely recommend people to come.

Used a grupon for this place & was able to make a same day appointment! All the employees were so friendly and patient while I took a good 5 minutes to decide which color I wanted haha. Definitely coming back even without the grupon. Linda did my nails and she was great! Made me feel relaxed. Only downside was that they played religious music instead of something more upbeat. Maybe next time they should play oldies, 80's, or since it is PRIDE week, a playlist with divas to celebrate PRIDE :)

It's my first time doing lashes and Aviva did an excellent job! Not feeling uncomfortable during & after. The place is clean and pink everywhere lol

Today was my first time getting a gel manicure at Pink House and I was pretty impressed. Heejin was my nail technician, and her attention-to-detail was spot on. She took her time, made sure my nails were filed to my liking, and helped me get the chrome nails I've always wanted! A couple hours later, though, I noticed my nails had lost some of the chrome. The owner was responsive and I was able to walk in that same evening to fix my nails, which I very much appreciated. If you decide to get chrome nails, you should ask your nail technician to apply some hard gel so the chrome doesn't come off. Overall, I had a positive experience at Pink House.

I highly recommend this nail shop to you!!!! Their shop is so cute, and the customer service is really good. Actually, my nail is ugly because I am a florist. So, I feel guilty to give my hands to nail artist. Nevertheless, Jenna did my nail with great care and changed it so nicely!! Her sense of color is pretty good. I trust her decision. I let her choose my nail design, and it always turns out all right. It is definitely refreshing.

Done by Jenna! So good

Under the previous owners, Laura and Danny, the salon felt welcoming and personal. Over the years, we got to know them and many of the people who worked there, and we brought the business a great deal of repeat business. Unfortunately, since they retired and sold the business to Lux SF2, my experiences have changed dramatically. My longtime technician is still wonderful, and I have nothing but positive things to say about her. Unfortunately, the overall atmosphere and customer service have gone downhill. The manager who now runs the salon consistently comes across as angry and unwelcoming. There is rarely a hello or any effort to make customers feel welcome, and it seems that the employees are uncomfortable around her. There is also another employee who has displayed the same type of behavior toward customers. The problems really came to a head when my partner was accidentally charged double for a service. He noticed the overcharge immediately and was told that it would be corrected and refunded within a day or so. It wasn't. After three phone calls over the course of 10 days, the money still had not been refunded. We ultimately let the matter go because he returned to the salon and received the pedicure he had already paid for. Instead of simply resolving the issue professionally, the manager became angry and raised her voice at my partner, insisting that the money had already been refunded when it had not. My partner eventually contacted the manager at their sister salon on Hayes Street to explain what had happened. Apparently, that made the situation even worse, because the manager then confronted him and became even more upset with him in the salon. Then came my experience last night. I had a punch card that had been started under the previous ownership. I had one punch remaining for a complimentary manicure. This card had already been punched by the current salon seven times out of ten, so they clearly had been honoring it. After receiving my manicure, I presented the card and was suddenly told that I had to pay an additional $5 because it was an "old" card from the previous owner. When I questioned this, I was told that they don't honor the old cards--even though they have continued punching mine and accepting it as valid. If the salon no longer intends to honor a loyalty program, that should have been clearly communicated to customers before they continued accepting and stamping those cards. The situation became even more uncomfortable when the male employee raised his voice at me in front of other customers and began bringing up my partner's refund issue from a month and a half earlier. I explained that the matter had already been dealt with, but he continued to argue with me and speak to me disrespectfully. Meanwhile, the manager, who was present and is supposedly running the salon, never stepped in to de-escalate the situation or address the behavior. I eventually left and went to the main Lux SF location up the street to speak with management. The manager there was apologetic, listened to what happened, and treated me with the professionalism and courtesy I would have expected from the salon in the first place. There are also growing concerns about cleanliness and sanitation that I have noticed during my recent visits. The chairs and workstations appear to have a layer of nail dust on them, and sanitizing the stations does not seem to be the priority it once was. I have also observed pedicure stations not being sprayed with what appeared to be bleach/disinfectant after each use. Given the nature of the services being provided, this is particularly concerning to me. I plan to contact the appropriate health department to report what I have observed and ask them to determine whether the salon is following the required sanitation procedures. It is incredibly disappointing to see a place that we supported for so many years change this much. Customers should not feel like they are walking into an environment where employees are angry, customers are spoken to disrespectfully, charges are inconsistent, or legitimate concerns are met with confrontation. A business cannot build a lasting customer base by treating people this way. In my opinion, if the current management continues to create an atmosphere of anger, disrespect, and distrust--and if customers feel they are being overcharged or treated unfairly whenever there is an opportunity to do so--the business will eventually lose the loyal customers who helped sustain it for years. I genuinely hope Lux SF2 takes these concerns seriously. There is still an opportunity to turn things around, but that starts with treating customers and employees with basic respect, being transparent about pricing and loyalty programs, properly addressing billing issues, and making cleanliness and sanitation a priority again.

I would visit her once every seven weeks like clockwork, as waiting longer usually meant some painful debridement on the big toe of my right foot. Elsa changed professions about ten days ago, leaving me to scramble to find someone in my area who could provide a similar quality of service in roughly the same price range. After some search engine trial-and-error, I finally got a Google page that listed three salons that offered a simple pedicure at a reasonable rate. The closest of these was Mani-Pedi Spa. Even though they take walk-ins, I called on Tuesday 9/22 and made an appointment for 11 am the following day. I was greeted by Gwen, who immediately pegged me as a guy who probably just wanted his nails clipped and nothing else. She walked me over to a wall display and asked me to choose a favorite nail color. It took me a few seconds to realize she was joking. (Good icebreaker, Gwen!) Anyway, the pedicure was not only thorough but absolutely painless. Granted, it took about 15 minutes longer than what I was used to, but I consider that a very reasonable tradeoff for a job done with the precision of a jeweler or a watchmaker. Once we were done, Gwen walked me to a lady at a desk at the back of the shop. That made it easy for me to hand the desk lady the pedicure fee and hand Gwen the tip at about the same time. I decided to wait a few days before posting my review, just to make sure there was no residual pain or swelling near the problem toe. That milestone has been cleared, and it looks like I now have a new regular pedicurist to see somewhere around November 11. Thanks, Gwen. Great job!

I can tell it's well loved by the surrounding community because there were so many people who walked in and knew the staff by their first name. I walked here from the bus stop off Rhode Island and 16th. It was a short and pleasant 10min walk from where I started. It was flat until I passed by a Whole Foods when the journey was all uphill. Short of breath, I made it to the top of the hill and to my destination *phew. It was a nice quad and glute workout for sure. I was greeted by a friendly staff and led to a wall of nail polish (sometimes the choices are overwhelming). I chose a bright pink and sparkly OPI nail polish. It felt summery. I ended up feeling tense as I sat and eased my feet into warm water. Annie, my nail artist, told me to relax but my body wanted to do the opposite. I think I get tense when my toenails are being cut as if to anticipate pain, but when I felt comfortable with her technique, I started to relax. It was probably the most relaxed I've been all week. Annie was sweet and attentive. She also did a really good job removing my cuticles and massaging my calves. I needed it! It was a great way to end a stressful day at work. I would love to come back!

The quality of ingredients, time spent, lack of even a slight massage, and general feel of the spa doesn't warrant such a high price tag. That's the issue, if the prices were akin to what other spas charge, I'd rate this higher, but at $70 it's really hard to say this place is 5* quality. My feet are drier than when I went in, I think it's because she didn't put lotion on after the scrub? However, there are limited options in Potetro, and they're always booked out, so it's working for them!

I just got their Lux manicure, which is their basic manicure that comes with a regular polish, nail cut, cuticle care, and a quick arm massage. My technician was very thorough. She recommended 3 coats, which I appreciated because other places will stop at 2, even if it looks thin. My nails take forever to dry, so when I smudged two of them trying to get my wallet, she fixed them right away. The couple of times I've been here, I've noticed that the vibes are pretty quiet. I remember falling asleep the first time I had my nails done here. If I was in one of the recliner seats at this most recent visit, I totally would have knocked out. At my first visit years ago, I remembered the technician putting this serum on my nails after the top coat that made it dry faster. She actually accidentally used it twice. I think that's why my nails lasted really long. However, the visits after that I noticed that they ended with just the top coat. I asked about it, but I don't think I was clear because I didn't get an answer. And btw, they now use tiny fans to dry the polish as opposed to that serum. But whatever serum they had before worked wonders and I wish they still did that. I just woke up from a nap and I must've put my hands underneath my head as I'm a side sleeper... there are imprints of my hair on my nails. It's not noticeable from afar but I was surprised to see it since the polish is dry. I'm not hopeful about how long the polish is going to last considering this. I think this is third or fourth time here and nothing is going to compare my first experience at this point. I'll probably come back whenever I need my nails done but I'm open to exploring other salons at this point.

I always try to clearly explain the style I'm looking for, but during busy hours it often feels like my requests are dismissed rather than the technicians helping me find the closest available option. At times, I felt awkward trying to figure out what was possible on my own while the technician simply watched instead of assisting me. At my last visit, the Gel-X application felt especially rushed. There was excess glue left around my nails which looked messy and unprofessional. While the final design was nice, it ultimately was not what I had originally asked for. When I expressed disappointment prior to leaving, the technician later explained there had been a language barrier. However, this was never communicated during the time of service. Instead, I was repeatedly told "no" to the options I asked about. Afterward, I reviewed the salon's website and realized they actually did offer the exact style I wanted. What made me especially uncomfortable, though, was that the technician put their hands in my hair without asking first. That completely crossed a personal boundary and felt very disrespectful.
