Over the phone and upon first meeting her, Julia is so friendly and bubbly she put me right at ease. Before coming in while trying to book an appt with her, she offered me some great tips to prep for my wax. When I came in early for my appt she greeted me at her door to let me know she was finishing up on a facial on a client, and directed me to her cute waiting area. She told me to help myself to the wine she provides - total sweetheart - and had me fill out a short form about skin type. When my turn came she brought me into her studio and gave a little tour, provided me a towel, wipe, numbing spray and a pomegranate lollipop to eat so distract myself during lol. Maybe it was my crazy concoction of ibuprofen and hour earlier, a little bit of wine, numbing spray and the lollipop.... Or just Julia's pure skill. Either way my wax was 98% painless which I have never ever experienced in my last 3 years!! Julia uses different types of hard waxes and soothing oils for a less painful waxing and she will explain her methods too. She's very easy to have conversations with and takes her time! She's gentle and very thorough - this isn't the "wham-bam-thank-you-mam" type of waxing I'm usually used to. It's a bit pricey: $60 to start out and prices go down as you book more appts with her bc she'll chalk them up as "upkeep"

I've since had to spend time and money trying to get my hair back to its normal color, and it's still not completely fixed. What bothers me most is that no one mentioned they were using a toner or asked if I wanted one. This should never happen without informing the client, especially on light blonde hair. I contacted the spa afterward because I was so upset. While they did refund me, it doesn't change the fact that my hair was altered during what was supposed to be a relaxing experience. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but I hope this encourages the spa to communicate clearly with clients and ensure products are used appropriately so no one else has the same experience.

Upon arrival, I was greeted cheerfully by the kind technicians as we went over the services I'd receive. They adhere to all Covid protocols and require mask worn for everyone upon entering. I choose the Aroma-luxe Facial Massage and Essential Pedi w/ Gel Polish. I received my pedicure first and loved absolutely every minute of it. I was treated to a luxurious foot massage that was followed by warm towels and wow.. my feet felt like butter!! My technician was very attentive and took her time to make sure I was comfortable. After the pedi, it was time for my facial. I was ushered upstairs to one of the many private spa rooms. While in the room I was given a fitted towel and headband to change into. The rooms was very spacious and included a facial table as well as a shower for those receiving full body scrubs. The technician prepared me with a light steam and began the facial. The facial was invigorating! I felt my skin tingling from the aromatherapy and a sense of calm as the relaxing music played in the background. The massage was amazing and relieved a lot of my neck and facial tension. I highly recommend for those who sit for a majority of their work day. After the massage was completed, I was handed a warm cup of herbal tea... a perfect ending! The facial massage is 40 minutes and I enjoyed the entire experience.
