I had such a wonderful experience with this towing company! The customer service was truly amazing from beginning to end. I actually first met the tow truck driver when she towed my friend's car while I was helping with a move, which is a little ironic! Even during that unexpected situation, she was incredibly kind, professional, and respectful. Her customer service left such a positive impression on me that I never forgot her. When I later needed my own car towed to a repair shop, I knew exactly who I wanted to call. Once again, the service was excellent, and everyone was so nice and helpful. Great people, great customer service, and a great business overall. I highly recommend them! read more

Extremely disappointing experience. My son was visiting his brother at an apartment community in Wilmington when his car was towed in the middle of the night, despite being parked for less than an hour. There were no clearly visible signs prohibiting parking, and the lot was poorly lit, making any restrictions difficult to see. When my son called the towing company, Tiffany was rude from the start, spoke over him, and hung up when he tried to interject. I later called to calmly discuss the situation and attempt to negotiate a reduced tow fee, acknowledging that a sign may have been missed, but also explaining the short parking duration and lack of visible signage. There was no willingness to discuss or resolve the issue. Payment was demanded via cash, Apple Pay, or Zelle only. The company is also not BBB accredited. I normally make a point to support women-owned businesses, but based on this experience, I strongly advise others to proceed with caution. Edit to add, my location is wrong. I am in Laurel, DE read more

To anyone considering using Pink Hookers Towing and Services, please read this warning about how shady the business practices are here. It's full of theft, retaliation, and deflecting blame. This company refuses to take any responsibility for their actions. If I could leave 0 stars or even negative stars I would. This company towed away my wife's car from our apartment complex assuming that it was abandoned even though there is a parking permit pass on the backdoor window that's been there for months. We have not been able to repair the car due to the state of the economy with everything rising in price. The best/worst part of this all was that the office manager thought she was doing us a favor by originally letting us move the car out of the inpound lot after paying the 300 dollar fee even though the battery was dead in the car and was inoperable. The office manager decided to retaliate when I left my original review explain how they literally stole a car and justify it by saying they were following orders and "that I left a mean and negative review." When we went to put a new battery in the car, the manager stood by and stared at my wife and I acting like we were trying to drive away with the car as if we didn't pay for it. That there is straight up retaliation & Grand Theft Auto. To the employees and owners of Pink Towing, please learn how to read and understand what theft and stealing is. If I hurt your feelings over a bad review, then maybe you may want to reconsider your business practices or go into another business besides stealing people's cars for a quick buck and then act like you're the victim and retaliated since I confronted the business for towing a car that was legally parked. The cherry on top of all of this is this business does not take any form of debit cards, credit cards, & checks. They only take cash and will not give you change as featured on their front door of their office. Absolutely disgraceful and shady! I'm all for women's owned and operated business ventures, but not this company. DO NOT USE THIS TOWING AND CAR SERVICE COMPANY FOR ANY REASON DUE TO THEIR SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES!!!! THEY ARE STRAIGHT UP THIEVES!!!! read more

Pink Hookers Towing is the towing company that does the removal of cars and snow plowing in the Castlebrook Apartments in New Castle and Whitney Apartments in Claymont. This review focuses on the towing done in Castlebrook Apartments. My boyfriend recently purchased a new car and had to inform the leasing office of the new car's make and model. He was instructed to leave a note to indicate the car was registered with an apartment and the license plate was the same; state and all. We had the fun pleasure of finding out in the morning that the car was gone and was towed away. Following all the instructions left by the complex didn't help as we had to pay $250 cash to get the car back. We had to travel to their "office nearby located near New Castle Airport. The office located upstairs of a home/garage converted to this office was not the most professional looking setting. We were greeted by the woman that most likely answered the call earlier that morning that was straight to the point informing us that we needed the cash and driver's license. Joining my boyfriend inside, our friend and I stood on stairs as this women process paperwork for the removal. If you drove past this business you wouldn't know this was the location and if you didn't see the small paper sign saying this was the door you would think this place wasn't maintained well. Inside it looked like someone was in the process of moving with rooms that look like bedrooms, stairs leading down to a dead-end as the wall was boarded up with dry wall. Not the best experience to start a Monday morning which could have all been avoided if the tower could have looked at the sign left there. Communication could be improved with the apartment complexes they work with. Makes me concerned if we follow the process next time or if we get guest passes if they will be honored. read more

Pink Hookers Towing - Where they stow the cars. - Towing Near Me - New Castle, Delaware

Like all other reviews, this towing company is terrible! They claim to tow AFTER 10 pm, however hooked my car up at 9:58 pm and proceeded to drive off as I was calling their attention. When calling the office , the lady who answered is very rude and said I needed to pay $300 and wait 30 mins for the next available appointment. The tow truck came back to the initial address 10 mins later to tow another car and I asked him why my car was towed before 10. He said he needed to talk with the nasty lady first and she ended up saying "it's your call" then left her own tow guy there! read more

Very ignorant people they illegally towed my car in front of my apartment building. My car is also registered by tag and sticker to the complex. I even had them talk to the rental office and the rental office told them that the car is also registered here and they still charge me $740, they have their own rules outside of their contracts with apartment complexes. Also they don't take credit cards which is shady because that means people money can't really be tracked. Very ghetto customer service! They also damaged my front end suspension. These guys are crooks. read more

This company is contracted to tow for my apartment complex. They advertise that they are open 24 hours a day. They also advertise they take credit cards. They LIE!!! I have had cars parked in my reserved parking space no less than 7 different times. I have called this company each time. One time, the woman who answered sounded like she was either drunk or high and stated she didn't know if they had a contract here. Another time, they were too busy. And another, they would be here in 30 minutes but never showed. Two times, there was no answer to repeated attempts and tonight there was a recording saying their number was restricted. I have also learned from people whose cars have been towed that the charges are obscenely high and they do NOT take credit cards. read more

we also are renters at another Galman Group in Newark and we just had the worst experience with the towing company. They were beyond rude and LAUGHING at me on the phone with them. We came to visit a friend and ALL the visitor parking spots were taken. One of the visitor parking spots even had CONSTRUCTION buckets and ORANGE CONES. Our car was towed at 9:15 (according to the paperwork) after just getting to the complex around 8:30. 45 minutes we were parked!! We now have to pay $300 to get our car out when they haven't even had it for more than an hour! You guys need to seriously fix this as no one wants to live in a place that tows vehicles when all the guest parking spots are full. Would not recommend this place to ANYONE especially when they get the grimmiest tow company to swipe in and take cars that have been parked for 45 minutes before they towed us! read more

These crooks have towed my car three times now from the visitor section of my baby Dad's apartment while am visiting my children. I have a pass, my ex has talked to them directly multiple times about my car and the office has also talked to them about my car. My ex actually stopped them from towing it once cuz he happened to be working on his car next to mine and said "she has a pass it is right there!" At this point I am thinking they just dislike me in particular for some reason. The last time they towed me I got in the car and my visitor's pass was still in plain view on my dash board. I am just going to start parking off property and walking at this point cuz it is ridiculous. I also saw there was only two cars left in the visitor section when my car was towed and I know for a fact almost all of them have passes same as me. They are just greedy and they have your car so what are you gonna do about it? They will eventually mess with the wrong person and get sued into oblivion. read more

Very large fees for towing, not able to use a debit card and female that worked customer service over phone was disrespectful

I even had them talk to the rental office and the rental office told them that the car is also registered here and they still charge me $700 they have their own rules outside of their contracts with apartment complexes. Also they don't take credit cards which was a red flag because what establishment doesn't except credit cards nowadays they gave me the virus that they don't want their money being tracked because they know that they are illegally towing cars I cannot believe they still charge me after my apartment complex. Explain to them that my car is registered by tag and sticker. I wouldn't recommend them to pick my bicycle up also, there's no for damaging cars when they are towing them so I suggest if you love your car go elsewhere even if it's more least you know you won't be getting taken advantage of read more

I was broke down today at a gas station. I called Pink Hookers Towing and the woman who answered the phone was very professional and caring to my situation. Although I wasn't able to use their service due to a very busy day for them I greatly appreciated the kindness before getting off the phone she kept apologizing and wishing me well. Customer Service is excellent and if I ever need service I would give them a try. read more
