They called me to update me on the car's status, were easy to reach via phone, gave very clear information about what they were doing, and were very empathetic to my situation. It was also so nice to go to a place that was not a chain but a local business that did intentional work on my car. My car doors look perfect and everything has been running smoothly. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Took a vehicle to them for a simple Maryland State Safety Inspection, which…read moreultimately ended in an assault by their employee. The inspection staff and shop manager was verbally abusive when you question their work. Then a third employee decided it is ok to punch a customer in the face. I don't care how heated a discussion gets you don't assault your customers. Interestingly enough I contacted the CEO Mike Montgomery via email regarding this matter and as of 5/4/24 he has not responded. It would seem if a customer took the time to contact the owner due to issues with his employees to include necessitating a Cecil County Sheriffs response you would respond and engage said customer? I am really a pretty reasonable person, but when staff give me the proverbial middle finger when I speak to them and then another staff member physically assaults me I tend to become a lot less reasonable. Updates below in reverse order by date: 5/9/24 UPDATE: Maryland State Police (MDSP) came out and looked at the vehicle and it passed. The MDSP treated me like a valued customer. I sent a review to MDSP telling them how much I appreciated their assistance and explained that even if they failed the vehicle I would have accepted that answer because of the professionalism exhibited by the MDSP. The MDSP did not verbally abuse me, talk down to me, or physically assault me. As for the business I hear crickets, which speaks volumes to their actual business practices. 5/7/24 UPDATE: Took the vehicle to another shop for a 2nd opinion and they confirmed what I thought, which is their mechanic is incorrect. Unfortunately I guess I will need to contact Maryland State Police Inspection Folks and see what my recourse is. ORIGINAL REVIEW: If you want to risk being assaulted by their staff take your vehicle to them. They are verbally abusive when you question their work. When they get their feelings hurt then they decide to assault you. Never again will I take or recommend anyone to use this shop. I don't care how heated the discussion gets you don't assault your customers.

After 2 attempts to make the repair they charged my insurance company for, they still failed. 1st try they painted the bumper and fender the wrong color, and made zero attempts to make any adjustments to the hood or fender because there was a very noticible gap between the two, and the headlight was recessed about an inch and a half. The manager Duane informed me that he had seen that the color was off but "that's what I pay these guys for" 2nd attempt they got the paint close enough and made adjustments but the headlight is still recessed. Manager Duane was adamant that I agree with him that "it's better than it was". It wasn't so I didn't, and instead of giving them the opportunity to right their wrong a 3rd time, my insurance company is sending me to a different auto body shop. A month has been wasted, will never ever recommend this establishment, terrible customer service.
