As much as I like Pinecrest Bakery, I will no longer continue to pay their ridiculous prices. I went the other day to buy a pizza Pastel and they were out. So I ordered a Pastelito that had one slice of cheese and one slice of ham. The size was a normal size pastel. I paid $3.33 which I find ridiculous! therefore I will be going to cake world done the street. their quality is just as good and their prices are much cheaper. read more

Not a great experience today. Ordered a super Cuban combo. Tipped when we paid. They forgot to put pork on the sandwich, forgot to serve the fries and gave an expired coke. How many things do you get wrong in one sandwich order?!?! Really thinking about not coming back. read more

I went in for a very simple and short order today. There were five employees taking care of one customer while the line continued to grow. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. Then the customer behind me decides to go over to the side and place an order after I had already asked if someone could start taking care of me and they went and took the order of the customer behind me. When I asked for the name of the manager, one of the employees tried to "explain" what was going on. At that point, I'm sorry, I don't need "explanations" I need you to deliver customer service which is what you are paid for. The Pinecrest Bakery on US 1 aldo had terrible customer service. To the owners of this franchise, it is sad that the customer service at all your locations has declined. Leydis, that is the name of the manager that I was given. If you want to improve the customer service at your store you need to monitor your employees more and be on the floor and make sure this type of situation doesn't happen. ¡Que desastre! We are from the neighborhood and this place is getting worst.. Ladies are rough although well-intended. Very disorganized. Music is super loud (perhaps to mask their incompetence). Will prioritize vendors over a line of customers. Sandwiches are well done and good coffee. The Quesito pastry is stale and bad tasting though.... People left the line to go next door to Munchies... We stayed because they have outside tables... The place COULD BE GREAT, but needs proper MANAGEMENT on customer care and process... it's sad to see a good location with some good products that all it needs is organization and customer focus.... The place is spotless! Literally! it's probably the nicest little shop in the entire plaza. This new bakery took the spot of what used to be Quiznos in this strip mall. They must have gutted and spent some major time scrubbing cause the place is impeccable. Great presentation, good service and nice selection of all types of pies, pastries, sweets. I noticed they also have some sandwiches so I may stop in one day for lunch. Overall a nice little find in this strip to satisfy the cravings. read more

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. After making a 10 minute line I asked for a Cuban sandwich and I was told " we have no more bread". What?! No bread at the Cuban bakery and on a Saturday afternoon! I then asked what pastries they had since there was none on the glass shelf and she said " we only have a few guava and cheese in the back". Terrible service! Service personnel would not attend to the 4 customers waiting to be served as the line grew, but kept going back & forth filling take out orders, and replacing pastry trays and completely ignored those who were in line, not even greeting nor saying it'll be a moment. Even though asked if we could be helped, one of the 3 woman behind the counter just said that there was only one person serving, whom by the way I only saw once. Not worth the wait. Terrible service. Will not come to this establishment again. This is why businesses go out of business. I don't want to tell you how to run your business, but would recommend that management speak to their staff and prioritize patrons that are waiting in line, as opposed to orders being placed on line that will take a while to be picked up. read more

This bakery was opened 24 hours but due to COVID restrictions they aren't anymore. It is really hard to communicate with staff since they only speak Spanish. They lack technology skills which makes it hard to order though post mates. (I've tried ordering from post mates twice and they either cancel my order or do not accept it). This is one of the best fly and mosquito breeders I have found in South Florida. All of their insects are well cared for and live to the ripe old age of 28 days. They Mosquitos feast on the blood of customers like myself, while the flies live off a healthy diet of Cuban tostada and pastelitos. However, this place does not advertise as a fly and mosquito breeding ground. As a bakery, Pinecrest Bakery is less than okay. It's dirty (what, with all of the plump happy insects), the tostada was super salty and burnt, and I even had to move outdoors to eat to escape the flies sitting on my food and Mosquitos on my face. All in all, I think this place would have a full 5 star rating as breeding grounds for flies and Mosquitos. I sincerely believe that any insect I've ever seen outdoors originated from inside this bakery. There were less flies outdoors than there were inside. Avoid at all costs, unless you need food for your lizard or frog. Then this is the place to go. read more

Absolutely horrible service! I frequent other locations quite often and love pinecrest bakery, but the ladies working this location seem to lack basic training. They walked around mindlessly behind the counter completely ignoring me waiting to order. I had to ask several times of I could place my order, and each lady told me I had to ask someone else. It's pretty hard in my book for a bakery to get such a low rating; I don't expect five star dining, but basic courtesy is a must. Update: As per Victoria's response, I'd like to clarify that I was at this location around 1:30 pm (not midnight shift). It seems that this is a trend. Customers complain about poor service and Victoria gives an excuse (new workers, busy time, late time, etc). Own up to the mistakes of tour employees and LEARN how you can serve customers better. The staff needs a training in customer service and behavior when around customers . I know this is Miami , I know us Hispanics have a very coloquial way of behaving, etc. But the staff at this establishment were rude, loud and plain unprofessional . They were shouting and talking amongst themselves while I was standing waiting for them to acknowledge me , once they did another jump in the middle of my order and again they began talking between themselves . While the products sold here are delicious I do not plan on returning , there are plenty Pinecrest bakeries around Miami to be subjected to this treatment . We made an order for pick up and the breakfast was good but the cafe con lech we ordered was suppose to be without sugar. They made my cafe con leche with A LOT of sugar. Like drinking syrup. If they take orders online they should pay attention to detail. No sugar means no sugar. read more

I'm not one to write reviews but after consistent disappointment I feel it's a must. For the most part the weekend morning staff are great, I understand they are overwhelmed with customers so the wait tends to be a bit longer but I can't say the same about the evening staff. They are extremely rude, it seems as the customers are a bother and annoyed by the fact they have to wait on us. They have no desire to be there. Management should really look into these reviews and who they staff. At the end of the day it's their business that's being affected. read more

They have number system and DON'T call out numbers so you walk in take ur number and wait ... after a while you realize no numbers are being called. A line out to the door. AMAZING system!!
