There was a really pleasant guy working the register who was knowledgeable with the limited amount of vape products they carry, I took his recommendation & loved it. Great customer service on his part! They also have decent prices on vape juice. Then I went to check out their glassware, girl working in that department was off-putting, short & not very friendly. I felt like I was intruding! I often buy directly from GRAV Labs, and they had a water pipe from them I wanted, cost about $25 more than on GRAV Labs website, but for the convenience it was whatever. All in all, not the best, not the worst. I like supporting local businesses and I'd say it's at least worth a tour if you're in the area and looking for some eclectic head shop gear, or just want to get out and explore the local shops.

Due to covid, I don't go in with her. Today, she went & asked to use the reward points that an employee the last time we went mentioned she had accumulated, 10 stars, the rude employee she encountered today blew her off at first when she asked to use them and then, after asserting herself, said he "had to check" as if it was the most troublesome thing he'd ever been asked to do; he then told her that she didn't have enough stars and stated "I don't know what you want me to do" - I dunno, maybe honor your stores policy and reward points? Her card is directly linked with her rewards number, I'm quite confused how this all transpired, and she's used her debit/credit card on every transaction - which is super easy to look up (like we just did) and I'd love to see this review get refuted. I know this falls under consumer rights laws that protect Maine consumers and the AG monitors such. Also; they mark up prices to almost (if not more than) double to triple the amounts on some products they offer, she has been buying her coils and vape devices there (out of convenience) up until today, I swiftly started ordering all my non-liquid stuff via the internet a long time ago once I saw they were charging $60 for my $24 SMOK Novo 3. She continued out of convenience. Unfortunate. All this over asking for a $40 discount she is completely entitled to. It's just so rude, and she works so hard for her money and was so excited to save some today after months of patronage and allowing herself to be ripped off. Small things like this are really bad for your business in the age of digital reviews. I'm just glad I'm fairly familiarized with business law, specifically Maine state consumer rights law. While it may not help us since we no longer will support this business, it may help others - it will be good to see businesses held accountable for falsifying "reward" based programs to incentivize customers. We double checked her bank info before I posted this to ensure a fair review as to whether or not such a rating was warranted. Consumer rights matter!

I explained exactly what I needed. Well, it turned out that what he sold me wasn't at all what I had asked for and after 3 uses it stoped working. So, I went to return it but I was told they couldn't take it back b/c I'd lost the receipt. Even though he knew I'd bought it from him just a few days prior. He wouldn't even exchange it for one that would work never mind one that was what I'd originally asked for. This is just the bad customer service this place usually offers. I've only kept shopping there b/c it's local and their prices are better but after my last visit I'm absolutely done and will never return. The main reason I will not return is because this location has an employee that is a total jerk. He really needs to either be fired or sent to training. He is RUDE and lacks proper manners for serving the public. He has zero personality & always makes me feel uncomfortable. It's like he hates having to wait on people. The store recently changed their hours but didn't bother to tell shoppers by posting a notice or telling them when they went in to shop. Although most people know stores are closing earlier due to the COVID-19 virus some aren't and the ones that are changing their hours have let people know via email, text, by posting a note on their door, or by letting people know when they cash out. So, my roommate shows up the day after he'd just been there to shop at about 6:40 & this guy didn't bother to tell him the next day they'd be closing at 6 and not 7pm. My friend arrives at 6:03 and the guy is just standing there staring at my friend. He shows the guy that he has the exact change for the cigars he wanted but the cashier just smirked at my friend and shook his head no. I get that he was closed but a decent human being would have come to the door, apologized for not letting him know the day before that hours had changed, let my friend get the cigars, take the exact change and IF he'd finished cashing out - put it aside for the next day. But nope! The rude hippy just stood there with his arms crossed, smirking as if he was enjoying the power he had and then turned his back and walked away. Imho, this location is probably losing a lot of business because of this employee! Even before this when I needed tobacco I'd go in and get just what I needed rather than shop around for other items. I don't recommend shopping here if you can avoid it because he is there most of the time. So, from one day to the next my friend had no idea they were closing at 6 and not 7pm.
