They're perfect with the pickles, and while the jalapeños are good too, the pickles really take them to another level. I also think the seasoning really tastes amazing. The app is super easy to use and makes ordering incredibly convenient. Pickup is always ready right on time, and my order has never been wrong. The owner is one of the nicest people you'll meet and clearly cares about the customers. The restaurant always looks clean, welcoming, and well put together, which makes it an even better place to stop by. I don't remember the bar being there when the place first opened, but that could just be my memory. Either way, it's a really cool addition and gives the place a great atmosphere. Easy Munchies. Great food, great service... and the pens always work.

The woman behind the counter was pleasant and amusing with a welcoming smile. It was not particularly busy, as there were a few patrons waiting for pick-up and delivery drivers coming in and out. The restaurant is well laid out between dining area, bar and order counter. In hindsight, I can't say I can think of another Atomic Wings with a bar. I placed my order and was offered a drink while I waited by a wonderfully mustachioed (and bearded!) gentleman. Keep that type of kind service up, I will have to make this a regular haunt! Atomic Wings does the best kind of chicken IMO. No breading, still crisp, not fussy. Their standard blue cheese is often lacking a 'zing', but I've noticed some stores don't use the franchise dressing. My order was for a 10 piece tradition wing, well done with Thai Chili sauce, and blue cheese dressing. My wings didn't get soggy, even with a ten minute drive home. It's because they have vented take out containers! No need for me to crack the box open so air can escape The wings were perfection. Thai chili had the best blend of spicy and sweet. The blue cheese tasted a bit ranch-y but was still quality and enjoyable with chunks of cheese. It wasn't until well after making short work of my wings that I realized there was no celery/carrot included. I wonder if that's because I didn't ask for them, or if they're not offered at this location. Either way, I didn't need them and barely noticed, just a mention of you're into that kind of thing.

Full disclosure for the 3 stars -- On their best day could be a 4 but on their worst day more like…read morea 1-2. BWW is a fairly renowned chain on Long Island which for me has had it's up's and down's overall. I've started frequenting this specific location a handful of times and would generally give a recommend for anyone local to the area. No surprises here on the food, you're looking at "sports pub esque" with a heavy bias to wings and flavors. Other then that, the usual hamburger, taco, and sandwiches are the alternatives. Nothing too top shelf in the liquor cabinet but a healthy selection of beer choices; stick to the drafts. The wings have slowly gone up in price over the years but this more or less seems to be across the board at any restaurant... the quality here for bone in wings for me is still consistently good. Sauces and flavors are plentiful, there should be something for generally everyone/anyone. Things can get pretty hot at the top 2 highest but everything else will keep your head attached still. A surprise up the sleeve is the addition of cauliflower wings which are open to the same sauce palette... do enjoy these as well for lighter fare. My wife enjoys the burgers here too, so not a one trick pony. Alcohol specials for tall sizing and rotating discounts are very much welcomed to offset the higher price of meat. Hospitality service is where this place breaks down at times. The staffing and mismanagement is inexcusable on both sides of the spectrum. Do keep in mind that I am probably in peak hours on Friday/weekend days typically but my experiences fall into the following; A) It's crowded with waitresses/waiters covering way too much ground or B) It's dead and the staff is just standing around in the service corners or by the to-go orders congregating. Literally do not think I've ever been welcomed here immediately by a host/hostess, there's usually no one at the front door regularly. Tables and areas where former patrons were are constantly left with debris and trash and not cleaned for 30 mins-hour after they depart. Typically will spot what appears to be a "manager" just wandering around watching sports on the TV's but they're "for show". These seem like simple fixes and adjustments but the thing is these scenarios kind of get spelled out every experience I have here. Overall, I would lean to recommend (cautiously) this specific location but if I am in the mood for the fare and stars align then it is indeed a safe, good bet. A few of the adjustments and fixes could really go a long way to improving this place.

Subject: Customer Driven Away by Unhinged and Aggressive Management…read more I never thought I'd write this about one of my favorite chicken spots, but after tonight, I will never return. What began as poor service has escalated into a serious safety concern due to a specific female manager's extreme unprofessionalism. For two Fridays in a row, I've dealt with her blatant disrespect and bad attitude. Tonight, after she caught yet another attitude during my phone order she also cut me off and slammed the phone down before i finished talking, I attempted to address the issue in person. Instead of a professional apology, I was met with verbal abuse. She didn't just provide bad service--she became unhinged. She told me i should know how to order food... she cursed at me, multiple times and told me my "life is miserable," and physically chased me to the door while screaming at me. I was already at my car door and she was still screaming at me. As a frequent customer, I have never felt so disrespected or unsafe. No one should be subjected to this level of aggression getting take-out. This individual is a massive liability to the business and has no place in a management role. I'm done with Pudgies.

Besides not having several menu items and being told we'd have to call a day early the food we DID receive was bland and overcooked. But all of that would have been fine, I mean it is just a small fast food style chicken place, if not for what happened next. They have several items and things on the menu which are pretty straightforward named "Mac and cheese bites", ect. So she ordered the "cheddar and broccoli" bites. Something one would assume, like everything else listed, it's name implies what it is. Unfortunately when my vegetarian wife bit in she was upset to find bacon. It was disappointing but not the end of the world of not a little frustrating that they didn't list it. So we called back to request a refund or some kind of remedy as this is the kind of mess up that can REALLY get someone sick or hurt someone. But instead of apologies and remedies? She was told "we don't do refunds... You should have told us beforehand that you can't eat bacon"... On an item that shouldn't have bacon if not listed?!? So after she refused to give any refunds or do anything she also refused to give us any numbers or speak to a manager or anything. So I conclusion the food is horrible, the place is dirty, the employees are sitting around on their phones and then the attitude and lack of ANY attempt at customer service is beyond unacceptable. As someone who's been in the culinary industry for over 20 years this is unacceptable food, practices and service... To say I won't be coming back after my overwhelming excitement I had BEFORE walking in would be a gross understatement....
