The atmosphere is calm and softly lit, making it an ideal spot to unwind after work or spend the day co-working. Customer service was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Everyone seemed genuinely pleased with their experience. There is a shared parking lot available, as well as street parking.

I opted for a small pot of coffee dining in instead of a cup. I was pretty happy with the amount of coffee and the quality of the experience. Good amount of seating for a small coffee shop, it wasn't very busy but the service the fast. It was very relaxing and refreshing. I even decided to get some dark roast for my French press at home and that coffee has been phenomenal!

It's right across the Wayne State Islamic Center, so easy to pop by after Jummah. While I do like the Yemeni lattes, it is a bit more on the pricey side and in line with all the other Yemeni coffee shops in the metro Detroit area. For the Detroit location, it's more of a pick up location, while there is a small outside seating area, definitely more of a carryout window.

I ordered an iced pistachio latte with oatmilk, was given a pager for when my order was ready, which my drink was ready within 5 minutes. The drink was served similarly to how an iced caramel macchiato would be (syrup/flavor on the bottom, milk and shots on top). So when I took my first sip, I was just hit with espresso... I mixed the drink around to incorporate all the flavors. I was happy that they didn't use pistachio syrup which tastes too artificial for me and they used a paste instead. The drink was pretty good overall. Glad I was able to stop by.

After a food crawl of sorts, we were looking to wind down the evening here, but evidently this place keeps the party going, late night. A spacious spot, with plenty of seating for both small and large groups, this is definitely spot where you can come kick it and hang for a minute. My friend and were immediately drawn to the smoothie and juice section. So many combinations to check out. I ended up going with the Diwan Smoothie (their most popular smoothie), and my friend got something similar that also added in some bananas. We sat down, and about 5 minutes later we got our smoothies. Both of our smoothies were refreshing and tasty. It's funny, 16 oz smoothie was $8. For a dollar more, you could get a 24 oz one.
