Coffee and desserts were great. The kid who took my order with the glasses was so sweet and helpful! I wish I was able to tip but the screen changed so quick and I didn't have cash. It was nice inside and not busy. Beautiful decor.

Yemeni coffee (black) with Harisah for dessert.

I had Harisah which is a sweet Egyptian dessert with black Yemeni coffee. Service was impeccable. Seating, decor, and music transported me to Yemen. Love it here!

Feel like there is a lot of potential here. The interior decor is cute with their comfortable seating. They had no music so it was awkwardly quiet. On the tvs they had pics of random nature and birds. It felt like there was no cohesiveness to their theme. We got a pot of adeni chai which is our go to. The chai was average. Also got couple slices of their tres leches which was also just ok. The honeycomb bread was good. Overall food/drink wise nothing stood out. There's so many similar places that they need to make some changes to stand out. If they did Id probably try it again.

Fresh and yummy drinks. Very kind and welcoming customer service. Business is very clean and has beautiful decor.

Their teas and coffee are pretty good, freshly made in front of you. But their dessert are meh. Dry and rough. Either Turkish dessert are like that or they are old. Atmosphere is very unique and the place is also kinda dead. I like other Yemeni cafe in town better, more lively, better customer service, more smile.

Facing the counter from the couches

I visited here with a group of colleagues for a meet up. The space is very roomy with gorgeous couches and sofas near the counter and tables and booths in the other half of the cafe. It's nicely decorated and very welcoming when you walk in. You order and either wait or get a number and sit down and they bring it to you. I ordered a Diwan Smoothie and a Lotus Cake. I asked what the "lotus" was and they showed me it was Biscoff cookie cream. I immediately said yes! When they brought my order, they brought an iced caramel macchiato instead. It was really busy so I didn't say anything. It wasn't bad, I just don't like caramel coffees that much. But the Lotus Cake? It was warmed and had a scoop of ice cream on top. This tasted amazing - between the warm cake with the cold ice cream, the texture of the cake (like corn bread, almost) and the smooth ice cream, and the cookie and chocolate flavors, I was in dessert heaven. I highly recommend it! I plan to return to try that Diwan Smoothie and, of course, treat myself to another Lotus Cake!

Lattes with prints

This is a solid place to get Yemeni coffee (adani chai) with more seating than some of the more popular spots. The owner is SO nice and friendly, he was really welcoming when we came and took a photo of us and printed it onto a latte, as well as gave us a few free lattes to see the other prints as well. The aesthetic of the coffee shop is really nice. They also hold late night hours during Ramadan, which is cool. The only downside is that the coffee grinds kind of well up at the bottom of the adani chai sometimes, but all in all, a great cafe!

Great place to study and have coffee. Quiet, and nice music. Love the ambiance. Clean.

Can be improved . Good service but the coffee tasted and smelled like whatever dish soap or cleanser was being used . That smell overwhelmed the facility. I had to spill out my coffee because that's all I was tasting and smelling . Use cleaning agents /soap that is not scented. Desserts were great and the ambiance was nice except that I think people were smoking . The pomegranate juice was mainly ice and it cost $7 so I was disappointed there as well. The name must go as I was not sure if it was a coffee shop or not . I believe that is in the works though. I might give it another go. I'm sure if management reads this they would be receptive to change .

Large Ice Yemeni Latte

Wow & Yummmm! Delicious smoothies, iced coffee and ice cream. The cappuccino crunch ice cream is delicious. The staff is super friendly. Very comfortable seating & great atmosphere . You will love coming here. Something for everyone. I got the Yemeni ice latte and it was delicious. Its strong coffee, it has some additional spices besides the coffee but very delicious. Very reasonable prices compared the "other" coffee shops down Michigan Ave.

Love the Adani Tea and Honeycomb desert. Thank you Romantica Cafe for having such delicious dessert and for the beautiful and ambient cafe!!!! I love going there to study or meet up with friends and family.

Bisbousa biscoff

Biscoff besbosa! That's right! And OMG what a treat it was! A couple weeks ago, I enjoyed this along a few other treats and Adani chai. It was absolutely satisfying to my taste buds! Dearborn,MI

10/10! I love this cafe the prices are reasonable, the owner is so sweet when he noticed my friend didn't like her drink he just went to the back and remade her one and that was delicious. The interior is beautifully decorated and is very cozy. It makes me want to stay there for hours just to chat with my friends and have delicious drinks. I recommend their yemeni teas and coffees and their smoothies are good too. Their toffee ice coffee and their caramel macchiato are really good.

Definitely a underrated spot for Yemeni tea (adeni chai). Place has a wide range of seating available great for group gatherings.

Alba - Egg sandie

This is the Coffee shop vibe you are looking for. I was able to come in and log into work as I ate…read moreand it was very chill. So there is street parking so keep that in mind. It is in front of a building that has a lot of other storefronts...but if you park anywhere on that block of Michigan Ave you will be within walking distance. They thrive in coffee and pastries but they do have a really good egg sandwich as well. They are super nice and friendly and will walk your food to your table. It's not a large shop so it may be crowded depending on what time you go. There is a countertop that seats 4, a long table ther seats about 10, and a few 2 top tables. If you have a large group this may not be for you. Alba egg sandie - this was an excellent sandwich. I wish it had sausage or bacon on it but regardless it's great. It's light and fluffy as well as airy and savory. It comes with the aioli/chive and this is what sets it off. But the egg is thick and the perfect size to boot.

Loveeee a quaint coffee shop! This place was super warm upon entry with a nice greeting from staff!…read moreThere was lots of different art displayed which made the place feel more inviting. A great selection of coffee and pastries! Food options as well. When I'm back in Detroit I will be coming back here! Drink: -Black Sesame Carmel Latte with oat milk. This is my favorite latte and I was so excited when I saw it on their menu!! The BEST one i've had thus far!!!
