Those two main entrées were okay. You can't really mess up those two fillers at an Asian restaurant. We ordered scallion pancakes- they came out soggy and soft. Not even crispy like how they usually are. The flavor wasn't there either. If I wanted microwaved scallion pancakes, then I would've bought them from the store and made them myself. My husband ordered the short ribs- they were bland and tough like rubber. It had a funky taste to it that he couldn't describe and he had to force himself to swallow it because he didn't want food to go to waste. I ordered the chicken feet- this is one of dim sum's signature dishes and I am so upset I didn't even get to enjoy one of the dishes I always order. It was dry and the flavor wasn't there. The service was fantastic. They checked in on us and made sure our water was filled. The timing of the food coming in and out was fine. The ambiance was inviting. There was a sense of urgency and I appreciated that.

I specifically confirmed that the food would still be delivered, and the staff member reassured me that they were working on it. After waiting with no update, I called again to ask for the ETA and whether the driver had left. At that point, I was told that we had cancelled the order, which is incorrect. We did not cancel; in fact, we called proactively to ensure the order was still being prepared. I understand that holidays can be busy, but clear and accurate communication is essential. The conflicting information and lack of accountability were disappointing, especially for a planned family holiday meal.

(Even the guy that got sauteed squid ) I ended up with the General Tso's chicken and it was super crunchy on the outside and perfectly tender on the inside. It had enough spice and wasn't overly saucy. It really tasted like it was made with care. The restaurant was A bit plain looking but clean and the staff was attentive and got our food out pretty quick.
