We always felt welcomed, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were clean and well cared for. Unfortunately, over time, we have noticed a significant change in both the level of service and the way guests are treated. Tonight's experience was particularly upsetting. I was included on a reservation with friends and had planned to stay at the lodge with them. My plans changed, and I needed to return home, so I stopped by the room for only a few minutes to let my friends know. While I was sitting outside the room, management came to the door and informed me that I would need to pay an additional $60 simply for being there--even though I was already included on the reservation and was only there briefly before leaving. I found this extremely disappointing and difficult to understand. I wasn't an unregistered visitor attempting to stay overnight. I was a guest listed on the reservation whose plans had changed and who stopped by briefly before heading home. What bothers me most isn't simply the $60 charge. It's the way the situation was handled and the feeling that, after years of staying at your lodge and supporting your business, the warmth and hospitality we once experienced seem to be gone. We have many wonderful memories of staying here, which is why this experience was especially disappointing. I sincerely hope management will reconsider how situations like this are handled and remember that hospitality and the way longtime guests are treated matter just as much as policies and fees.

The water in both champagne and beauty baths are slightly warmer but not hot, so when you get out of them and feel cold, they have an hot pool just nearby both! After spending 2 hours here, my body was so relaxed! The office charges a deposit before you go in and then based on the time spent, they charge you at the end when you are leaving.

I'm so glad that we stayed here alternatively because it was a nice location and our room had a view of the lake! Additionally, our cottage was so clean, almost pristine and it felt private enough that I was able to get some much needed rest and sleep after severe jet lag. The owners obviously take pride in maintaining the property and even the pool looked so inviting but it was too windy and cool when we were there. We stayed for four nights and I slept all day twice while hubby was out fishing. There's a Safeway, Dollar Tree, and Grocery Outlet to shop at nearby and Walmart if you go a bit further away. Nothing negative to say about this place and it's good to know that there's a clean and relaxing spot to enjoy some rest and relaxation at the lake!

My wife and I made reservations through Expedia with Traveler's Inn for Tue, Jul 28 to Wed, Jul 29, (Itinerary # 73463144264880). We were planning to stay there on our way to Santa Barbara, CA where I was to perform some music at a friend's wedding, but then I just received the bad news that I will be needing to start radiation therapy for prostate cancer in July. The treatment involves 8 weeks of radiation sessions, 5 days per week, and must be uninterrupted. At a time when anxiety and stress are elevated I have to deal with spending $93.00 for a hotel stay that I can't use! Cancelling seven weeks in advance didn't seem matter to Traveler's Inn! How horrible is it that a business can be so cold and uninterested in an individual's specific circumstances, and does not offer a refund. I could understand it, and it would be justifiable, if the cancellation came within 1 week of the reserved date, because it might be difficult to fill that room in such a short time. But 7 weeks in advance!?!?!? I am so shocked by such a policy. I'm sorry to vent so much anger and frustration like this, but I am overwhelmed by the user-unfriendliness of this policy.
