Heard about it & passed it many times in the past year & on a Tuesday night it was time to see what…read morethe hype was all about. It was packed/fully booked. Our choices for dinner (day before reservation) were seating at 6:15 or earlier or 9:15 or later so reservations well in advance are recommended. We started with cocktails (& they had a few creations) & had a "Buried in Sand" and a "Holy Mule-" Both excellent! Our server was helpful & made some wonderful suggestions once she found out it was our first visit. All the dishes (small & large) are great for sharing. As it seemed a staple of the menu (that changes daily) as well one of their specialties we decided to start with the Bastard Planka. A nice variety of house cured ham, salami, chorizo, pate & pickles-one of the best I've ever had. Also ordered the Klemmings Oysters as our second starter. So fresh, salty & exquisite! For main we ordered the Cod & the Munka Pork (as Pork is their specialty). Cod was cooked to perfection and the Pork had a crust that took it to another level. Both dishes were amazing! We finished with the Pistachio Ice Cream and Paris -Brest. Loved them both but the Paris-Brest is a must try! My only regret is not getting here sooner. Wonderful vibe with great service! They also have a bar area (open kitchen) where you can grab a seat to try some of the entrees or just have a cocktail, beer or glass of wine if they are fully booked. Will definitely be back. Michelin rating well deserved!

Torvehallerne is one of the top ten places to visit in Copenhagen. It has a wonderful eclectic…read moreselection from food to cheese to wine to sweets. I must say the markets in Europe are world class when compared to the markets in the United States. Torvehallerne was bustling with customers ordering glasses of wine and plenty of pintxos. Pintxos means small snacks or tapas that come in a variety of delicious bites. There are always Patata bravas, diced potatoes served with a spicy red sauce and mayo, croquettes, shrimp with garlic, black olives mashed and served on toast. Now, you might ask why am I ordering tapas in Denmark? Good question! Well, I really wanted to try a Vegan hot dog, hot dogs are a Danish specialty. There were no vendors serving them here. Thus, I stuck to something that is second nature to me, tapas! This bar is cute and cozy, the menu has just the right amount of options and the beer is great! The service is simply amazing; two gentlemen running the show: the cook is from Milan and there is a server. Heres what I ordered: 1. Potata Bravas: hot, spicy with a side of mayo and red sauce. 2. Croquettes: served with a side of mayo 3. Shrimps in garlic: loads of garlic and red pepper, flavorful served with bread to dip 4. San Miguel beer ( small): San Miguel Beer refers to San Miguel Pale Pilsen, a Filipino pale lager and flagship beer of the San Miguel Brewery, loved the taste, ordered two. The atmosphere is lively and both cook and server worked hard to ensure meals were prepared well. When In Copenhagen be sure to check this market; you will not be disappointed! As they say in Denmark, spis, which is Mangia!

I came here for lunch yesterday and followed up the meal with a walk around central Malmö…read more Highlights: -Papas bravas: A 5 out of 5! Maybe it was the sauce or the perfectly cooked potatoes, or maybe it was that they reminded me of my Spanish host mom's patatas bravas from back in the day. Either way, a winner. -Tortilla de patatas: 3. The biggest reason is that it arrived lukewarm at best, which sort of killed the dish. -Ternera 3.5: Nicely cooked and seasoned, although the beef had so much fat that I feel like it weight down the dish. -Sangria: 4 to 4.5. I've had a lot of sangria in my day (don't know whether that's a good or bad thing) and this one was absolutely solid. It had small pieces of apple inside which was nice. This sangria was, frankly, very easy to throw back. Getting the server's attention was a task, as he was over talking with friends for quite a long time during the meal. I eventually got up to cue his attention. He was nice, although with few other patrons at the time, my glass was sitting empty for probably 20 minutes. The vibe is one of Sevilla. From the music to the menu to the seseo/thetheo of the singers in the background music, there is southern Spain written all over this place. And for that, I give four stars instead of three.

This is my third visit to Vibliotek & I'm finally getting around to writing a review. Having just…read morereturned from Barcelona I missed Tapas already so this is the place. My first visit was for a work going away dinner and the restaurant team took care of our group of 10. There were different orders and we settled on the Tapas Menu which is a sampler of 5 different Tapas for 250 SEK per person. All of them were excellent and my favorites were the Gambas Al Aioli (shrimp in garlic oil), Tabla Mixta (Charcuterie) & Croquetas (ham, chicken and Boletus-mushroom). It was Wednesday and they had a live band which we enjoyed. My second visit was for a snack. I ordered the Pulpo A La Gallega (Octopus). On a bed of potatoes with sauce it paired nicely with my Voll Damm Malt Beer. Third visit was for a late lunch early dinner. I ordered the Huevo Rotto Con Chistoria (fried egg with potatoes and sausage) and the Fideua de Marisco (seafood noodles with sausage). The seafood noodles sauce was tasty and the yogurt sauce mixed in nicely with the sausages that were like the ones I had in Barcelona. The egg dish was excellent also! (Breakfast for lunch/dinner) Paired the meal with an Estrella-what else?! Staff is attentive and friendly and will give you all the details of the extensive menu if needed. Vibliotek-With a Spanish music station piping from the speakers and awesome Tapas the closest you will come to Spain in he Malmo area!
