It's the first time I've been to a GetGo gas station and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. There aren't any gimmicks here, no super fancy diner, no real restaurants attached to it. There is absolutely nothing making this Gas Station any better than most standard Gas Stations out there, only there is. When you can excel in customer service, you've absolutely won the game. Two of the nicest, and quickest staff members I've ever come across at gas station. I can't remember the exact name of the gentleman that rung me out, but he was a baller. He sparked a conversation with me and made me feel welcome, like he wanted me there. Wasn't in a hurry to get me out of there, the feeling I typically arrive to when I'm at any gas station. He was more than willing to treat me like a person, bravo. On another bright side, they were very well stocked, and I think that goes still with the two employees I saw working there. They had the Deli food stocked to a tee and I felt like I had some real choice in what to eat, which is great. I wont highlight the food too much, it was decent but the overall experience and the people they have working there make this a 5 star experience. I'm here to highlight those great customer oriented employees I come across. Keep up the work, don't lose the magic.

BUT The service is excellent, they have a wide range of typical gas store like products, that are all fairly priced, and they have pretty good fresh coffee, for a gas station this place is good in my book ! An added bonus that is perhaps most important is for some reason the gas stations on this stretch of High Street are ALWAYS at least ten cents cheaper then everywhere else, I feel good filling up my tank here, over other places. Plus if you are a kroger shopper you can use rewards points or something, but i'm not so that doesn't really bother me. but seriously, go here because gas is cheap.

Quite possibly the most ineffective, futile, pointless, unproductive,…read moreworthless gas station on the planet, if not the universe. - Pumps never work - If a miracle was performed and fuel can pump, none of the buttons on the touchscreen work. - If the touchscreen buttons are operable, the visible screen is broken. - If any of the above works, there's a yellow out of order bag on the pump. - If you're desperate enough to prepay inside, chances are the clerks are either smoking, stocking the beer cave, changing cash for shifts, or taking a dump. Godspeed if you ever stop here and need something. Chances are the only thing you can get is robbed or hassled by panhandlers.

I know, this is a review for gas station food. I don't believe it either…read more I have been stopping here regularly (daily) for over a year. Its a gas station. Its a food stop, its a drink stop. They have a beer cave. Lisa is an amazing manager and clearly knows how to hire mostly great customer service people. Nancy, Karen and Brenda are chatty and personable before you step up to the register. Sadly, one of the three musketeers has transferred to another store, but they are friendly, knowledgeable and quick to tell you about benefits and sales for the exclusive Giant Eagle card holders. The best part of this is the kitchen. Drew works most mornings and I had kicked the Starbucks habit but got sucked into coffee drinks again. Drew makes a great latte, its not just an instant, he pulls the shots and they have a flavor or two that Starbucks doesn't Its not starbucks quality but its close and for sure better than a gas station pot of coffee, but if you want that, they are constantly brewing that nd there is a HUGE amount of creamers and things to put in your plain old coffee. Step up to the touch screens and order your made to order sandwiches and breakfast products. Delicious. They used to slice the meats there, but Giant Eagle chose to go to pre-sliced everyrthing and I think the lunchmeat lost something, but the grilled chicken breast and steak are great choices too. I am not a heavy drinker by any means, but they have a big beer cave and a few of the employees are knowledgeable in the beer too. They don't just tell you the cheap one or the most expensive one, I got the kind of boutique help I wanted so I showed up at a party with something good or unique to drink, not garbage. This is the only GetGo in the area that seems to have a restriction against redeeming your Fuel…read morePerks that you've already earned. Tonight, and another time about 3 months ago, their fuel pump said my fuel perks redemption was not available. I asked the clerk inside about it and they explained that I need to have made a purchase inside the store in the past to be allowed to redeem my perks. And it needs to be 24 hours after my purchase so I couldn't purchase something right there and then redeem my perks. That didn't work for me since my gas tank was already on fumes. Maybe this is a new policy since GetGo got bought by Circle K, but I don't think it's enforced at all GetGo as I've never bought anything inside the store at the Clintonville and Grandview GetGos and am still able to redeem my perks at those 2 locations. Also, it's silly to force me to buy a drink/snack/whatever at this GetGo since there's a Giant Eagle Market District literally in the same parking lot where the same items are cheaper and earns the same perks! I'll have to avoid this GetGo going forward.
