I used to think that the service was slow and the restaurant was "a little relaxed" when it came to the cleanliness of the dining room and the fact that they leave the drive thru window open to let the breeze in during work; however the food was pretty good most of the time and the people that took my order seemed nice. There has been a special going on for the new gyro sandwiches, 2 for $6, great deal. I have literally been stopping by everyday until today I come in and even though the sign on the window clearly states that the special is still going on, the cashier tries to tell me that I owe her $17.98 for 4 sandwiches @ 2 for $6,,, someone got their math wrong,, a man approaches the counter and proceeds to tell me that they can not give me the special price because of the cash register and I would be expected to pay full price. When I ask who to contact about this nobody would tell me, they all really acted as if they did not hear me and blamed it on pilot, one manager, one shift leader, one cashier and a cook. To me this is ridiculous, I work in a restaurant and trust me, there is a way to do the discount, someone that works there should be intelligent enough to be able to do the math to subtract the discount price from the original total and ring it as a manager discount. The tags said that one of them was a manager but was the tag lying?? The fact that they would barely even speak to me showed that they clearly did not want to give me the discount for what reason, I do not know. This must be the reason aside from the prices that Arby's are dying in all the areas of Atlanta, the staff clearly could care less about trying to keep business and they will be what turns the customers that pay to keep the lights on away. I hope the health inspector comes in and nails them and I hope that they hire someone that knows who they work for and how to operate a cash register in the near future. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone anymore unless you're just looking for disappointment read more
