I'm giving this review 4 stars because of the instructors. I had a couple of different instructors because of my work and school availability. Every instructor I had (John, Tony & Winnie) we're all AMAZING. They made me feel very comfortable and helped me to grow and feel comfortable driving. Because of them I passed my first time and I'm eternally grateful for them. Thank you guys so so so much! You guys rock!!!! The reason this is not getting a full 5 stars is because of the front desk/scheduling process. I had purchased the 20 lesson package as I did not have anyone at home who I could practice with. First off, calling to get someone to schedule was a nightmare. I would have to call 15-20 times to HOPE someone would answer the phone. And Every time that I eventually did get someone on the phone, I would obviously try to schedule more than one lesson with the ladies since it was so difficult to get someone on the phone the first time. Every-time I tried, it was always a hassle. If I tried to schedule a second lesson that week or set up something for the following week, I would be told to wait until I finished my lesson this week and call back. Do you know the issue with that? When you call back, it takes FOREVER for someone to answer and when they finally do answer, slots are already taken! There were times that because of this method I had to go 2 sometimes 3 weeks without a lesson. AGAIN, I had NO ONE at home to practice with so imagine going 3 weeks without practicing? Obviously the next time you drive, you're going to feel awkward and unsure of yourself. It wasn't until David starting helping them with scheduling that my lessons were more consistent and I was able to actually get a person on the phone relatively fast. David, I thank you so much for your kindness, professionalism and assistance. Keep doing what you're doing because more people appreciate it than you could possibly know. As for the women that work in this office? They need an attitude check. They're always curt and rude; complete opposite of David. And they were the ones that were unwilling to let me schedule more than one lesson at a time. The first time David answered, one of the first things he said was "oh, I see your behind on lessons! Let's try to catch you up to speed" and proceeded to schedule several lessons. I don't understand why that is so easy for him to notice and do but it was a battle with the other women? I was so close to just abandoning this school a couple of times because of how frustrated I would get. Honestly if David hadn't said that/helped, I would have given up on this school. One woman even chastised me because I didn't answer the phone when she called me. Like who wants to answer the phone when they're using the bathroom?? Do YOU wanna hear me pooping?? I didn't think so. Ugh. Anywho, good school as far as instructors go & scheduling with David. If you get anyone else to schedule with, hang up. Also if you plan to take as many lessons as I did, don't pay for everything up front. Honestly it felt like at times they forgot about me because I got so many lessons. Start with less than you think and build your way up. This way you don't have to worry about being forgotten/stressing to get appointments. #sorrynotsorry

They're unprofessional and extremely hard to work with. Joyce is the sole person scheduling things, and she is horrible at her job. They do not give you your 5-hour cert. They hold on to it, so you can only schedule your road test through them, and you cannot schedule it yourself. They add on months of wait time, as opposed to 1-2 months if you scheduled it yourself. I paid around 1k for 10 lessons, which turned out to actually be five 90-minute lessons. Very misleading!! I have had 2 instructors from them. The first one, Jason, was unreachable after 2 lessons, for some reason. He was okay at his job, not super motivating, but did what he needed to do. Joyce offered to switch instructors for the rest of my lessons, and oh my god. My second instructor, Johnm, was so unprofessional and mean. He NEVER gave me positive feedback, only mumbling about how horrible I was at each and every turn. He was smoking cigarettes before and after every lesson, which isn't necessarily a problem, but very unprofessional to do in front of the client and made the car smell. One time, he cut one of my lessons early cause he wanted a car wash. We got out of the car, and he lit up a cigarette as I just awkwardly watched the car go through. I could not believe this was the lesson I paid for. I did not even end up finishing my course with them, because every lesson felt like a humiliation ritual. I couldn't even get a hold of my 5 hr cert, so I started over at another driving school and passed my test on my first try with a perfect score.

I am a quiet person and while I was polite and receptive to his small talk, I did not initiate or engage with it more than necessary. He made jokes about this after every single session saying that I "talked too much." Annoying, but not a big deal. However, after one particular session, when he dropped me off, he joked by telling me to "be a good girl or your mom won't give you a lollipop." You cannot make this shit up. Who says that?? I felt uncomfortable and repulsed by this strange comment. Once I passed my driving test, he handed me a stack of flyers for his driving school and asked me to put them up around my college campus to advertise him. I thought this was very unprofessional. He also took it upon himself to use some of our lessons as "highway practice" rather than preparing me for the driving test, clearly as a way to get more lessons and money out of me. In my opinion, if you are a young girl learning to drive who is not very assertive or talkative, he will take advantage of that. But take this as you will.

A few years ago I made a decision to get my driver's license, I tried, and failed the exam. I gave up on it and in 2025 found Mr. YANG's driving school, and decided to give it a try based on the reviews. I went with the 10 lesson unlimited driving exam option. All of my interactions with the owner Kenny, Nazia and my instructor Oscar were amazing. They are genuinely kind people that want you to learn to drive and pass the exam. I felt very supported throughout the entire process. Unfortunately, I ended up failing two more times. Honestly I was ready to give up. Nazia was a great encouragement as she booked additional lessons. Oscar really worked on getting my confidence up and reviewing my weak areas. This is very important whenever you're trying to learn a new skill. Oscar was very good at explaining the skills needed to pass the actual road test. I was finally able to pass the road test on my 3rd try! If you're a nervous driver I would recommend going with the driving packages that let you take the test as many times as you need. The most important thing is to keep pushing past the disappointment and continue to practice. Thank you so much Oscar and the team at Mr. YANG!

Being able to ask questions and understand everything in my native language made me feel much more comfortable. Overall, it was a really positive experience and I'd definitely recommend them!

She and four other her 4 friends passed on the first try too. Their instructor was Eric but my instructor was David. I'm from a country that uses UK systems. We drive on the left lane. The driver on the right side of the car. I have never driven a car in my country but I rode a bicycle and motorcycle when I was there. I was a little bit confused with the lane when I first rode the bicycle here but now I have been riding a bicycle in the summer every year for 5 years already so I wasn't confused with the lane when I was learning how to drive a car. I registered for 5 sessions and 2 road tests. It's not too short and not too long for me. I got 10 points from too slow a turn cuz the day that I took the road test it was raining and I didn't want to drive fast but I forgot to check the speed. lol David has been an instructor for 11 years. He is kind, friendly, calm, observant, encouraging and patient. He can repeat his words more than 20 times without feeling moody. :) The important thing is that he remembers my improvement. In the 4th session I drove the car not even 5 minutes. He asked me, "Did you practice with another car?" (He knows it. I thought) Right before the 4th session I rented the car and practiced with my friend and checked around the area that I have to do the road test. The difference between practicing with my friend and David is that my friend doesn't know that I did the right thing or I did not, such as before changing lanes or turning right, my friend can not tell me that I checked blind spot or checked and waited for pedestrians on the street corner but David knows.  My friend didn't observe me. I like checking around, I mean checking the mirror when I drive. I check the rearview mirror and the left mirror to see who follows and wants to pass me or the right mirror that I drive too close on the right side, I do it by automatic like I ride a motorcycle. David said "It's nice to check around" (He knows it. I thought). David makes me feel confident enough to drive with other cars cuz he always tells me what situations that I did right and what situations that I did wrong or shouldn't do. Before the 5th session me and my friends rented the car and drove to Montauk. It was the first time that I drove on the highway (I drove form exit 53 to Montauk and drove back from Montauk to Elmhurst,Queens) it was fun. The staff were very nice and helpful. They helped me to arrange my classes schedule when my instructor was out of the city. They know which day and period of time is very nice and easy to pass the road test. That's amazing.

But that isn't important to me, all I needed was a great instructor who would teach and help you improve your driving. Initially, I asked for a different instructor but the secretary told me he doesn't work here and she gave me two names and Mr. Wong rang a bell in my head since I did some research before going. Luckily for me, Mr. Wong was also in the office at the time on his lunch break so I got acquainted with him a bit before he left to teach. I then picked my package (10 lessons for $260 + two road exams, $240 if you have a video certificate already.) My 1st day with Mr. Wong, he let me drive right away to get a sense of my driving since I told him I have experience driving before. During lessons he drew very detailed diagrams of the road to help you understand what to do under different circumstances. My biggest weakness was my turns, which I told him about and he helped me turn the correct way. It used to be really shaky, as mention on my previous road test results printout. On the road test day, I had two lessons in the morning before the exam which helped a lot. It let me warm up and practice to get my kinks out. I went with two other girls who both went with me. During the wait I met my old instructor which was a bit awkward as first but we chit chat for a bit and he was cool about me going to Ten Ten Driving School. I went with two other girls to take a road exam, both of those girls passed and it was the first time for one of them. Being a guy, that would do collateral damage to my Ego if I failed lol. But I passed over two weeks ago after failing twice with another instructor. More about Mr. Wong: - He drives a Toyota Corolla - Very patience and genuine man, he will teach you everything you need to know. - His English is limited but I was able to understand fully and got the meaning. I don't speak Chinese at all, I speak Vietnamese so take it from me. - Give you great tips on the Road exam. I highly recommend him, I was happy to pass and sad at the same time to say goodbye.

WARNING: This driving school is abusive, unprofessional, and unsafe…read more The customer service here is downright hostile: they insult and verbally abuse their customers, and even crossed the line into sexual harassment. One staff member asked my age in a clearly inappropriate manner and demanded that I address her the way she "wanted to be called." This is absolutely disgusting behavior, especially for a business that should operate with professionalism and respect. Here's what happened: At first, I was told I could practice highway driving at 6:30 AM when traffic is light. I agreed right away. Later, they suddenly changed it and said I could only drive at 4:30 PM. I still agreed, but I had a reasonable concern -- I asked if, in the case of constant heavy traffic, I would be allowed a small extension (like 10 extra minutes) so I could actually practice highway driving. Instead of answering politely, the staff exploded in anger, saying "even I have no problem on the highway, why should we take the risk for you?" I was shocked -- isn't that the exact reason students come to a driving school, to be taught safely and responsibly? But they continued to act arrogantly, as if they were doing me a favor instead of providing a paid service. Then the situation escalated even further: the female receptionist suddenly asked me how old I was, and proceeded to make comments that were sexually inappropriate. I was completely respectful throughout the conversation, and yet I was harassed and humiliated. This place is not only unprofessional, it is toxic and dangerous. They waste your time, shift schedules around with no respect for your commitments, lash out at you for asking basic questions, and worst of all, their staff harass customers. I have already filed formal complaints with the Driver Training Programs Complaint Form and NYC Consumer Complaint. I urge anyone else who has been mistreated here to also speak up. Protect your rights, and do not allow this so-called school to continue exploiting students. Bottom line: This is not a place to learn. It is a place of abuse, arrogance, and harassment. Stay far, far away.

Took some adjusting to his strict critique, but he really drills in those skills over and over again. I knew going in that I wanted a strict instructor because it's easier for me to take the extra time and learn the right way vs learning quickly with many errors and correcting them for the test. 5 sessions (of 1.5 hours each) didn't seem like much, but the time is used very efficiently to prepare for the road test. Ended up with only 5 points :) Communication was great; the front desk lady does a good job of scheduling and accommodating requests. They called me twice to confirm my road test date as well. School environment: very clean, no cigarette smell. You're not in the office that much anyway (except for 5 hr course), but the facilities are good regardless. Pricing: Price of the package was unbeatable even compared to some other legit flushing driving schools. Personally didn't consider any super cheap hole-in-the-wall places because those tended to look too sketchy, so this was a great compromise between price and comfort. Overall, everything went very smoothly and I had my license within a month of starting lessons with Peter. Note, I think this is the same school as Fuzhou Driving School on google, perhaps they changed names recently.

If you are reading this, you are most likely debating on which school to attend. I implore you to read my review in its entirety; I believe I'll make some really good points and convince you to consider this school. Your goal should be attending an accredited school that will give you the paperwork (certificate) you need in order to take the registry exam, and that is it. It's not about "the best of the best" school, or the one with the top accreditation. All you should be caring about is the school that is going to get you to the point that matters, which is the registry exam, and a school that will provide appropriate clinical rotations. Look no further, this school has everything (except good machines, more on that later). Firstly, Dr. Nand is the president and owner of this establishment. He maintains the Council on Occupational Education, which is an accreditation accepted by the ARDMS. He also has plentiful connections with almost all hospitals, and can get you into the really good hospitals for your clinical rotations (i.e. NY-Pres Columbia). He's also the SWEETEST man alive, and is genuine for your well being. He is there to help, he wants you to do well. Other schools have accreditation in CAAHEP, which is a well known accreditation. But be warned, schools with this type of accreditation have tuition fees of $65K+. Can you afford that? I chose NYMedCareerTrainingCntr for many reason, and it was the cost of the school that was the most appealing, to be honest. When I attended, the full program cost me $29K. This fee may increase due to economy-related issues and rent/insurance costs, etc. But that is a big plus. They also have payment plans. Tuition includes your uniform, and textbooks. Did you hear me?? TUITION INCLUDES YOUR UNIFORM AND TEXTBOOKS!! All other schools make you pay for your textbooks separate (and the uniform as well), and these books are $200 each. You are saving A LOT of money. Please note, you will have to pay your tuition in full before you start your clinical rotations. --Edit: I apparently ran out of space because I rambled. If anyone has a question regarding this school, I'm more than happy to share my experience. just message me-- I'll continue my review but make it ultra condensed since there is a word limit here. Now, a BIG plus... when you finally get to clinicals and have keep to a log of what you scanned, all you have to do it write the date, time, and a one-word description on the type of scans you did. THAT'S IT! Many other schools will force you to write a full description of each patient you see and/or need proof of this. Many school will require you to scan a certain amount of arteries/veins in order to graduate. You might think that's actually a good thing. No it's not. Because in the real world, when you start your clinicals, you may not get to see patients for arteries/veins. You may not get to see liver transplants. It depends on your site. You want the school to delay your graduation because you didn't see enough echo, head, or TCD? Complete your sheet, send them it, call it a day. I wish the school clarified how to have your CV signed, which is paperwork required to take the ARDMS. If you want to take your registry in vascular, you'll have to have a tech licensed in RVT to sign your CV... so this means, don't pick a clinical site that focuses on pediatric if your goal is to get an RVT because the likelihood of the technicians there that have and RVT are slim, and you will not be able to take your RVT registry due to the missing signature for a licensed tech... so be mindful of the sites you choose. Some negatives with this school: Machines are garbage, and there was a lot of cheating going on with no repercussion for these students. I was outraged by this. Sangay, the man responsible for finding you a clinical site, moves at the pace of snails. So you'll have to stay on top of him. There is no echo in this school :( And yes, I graduated this great school, was prepared enough to earn my ARDMS in abdomen, and I now work in a hospital. Dr. Ayub, if you're reading this, YOU ARE THE BEST!!! I'll always remember you! Wishing you and Dr. Nand, the best of health.
