Overall decent experience at all seasons. The 5 hour course was handled pretty well with safety precautions due to Covid. They signed me up with an instructor (Sunni) right away since I decided to buy the 10 class package. Sunni was usually always in contact with me and he notified me early if anything came up. Always came to pick me up at my address on time. Very patient and teaches in an organized way. Nevertheless, make sure to watch videos and do your research on the road test since he did neglect to teach me the cars blind spots for left and right turns. Overall not a bad experience, passed the road test first try. read more

The school is okay. The customer service for the expectation of Johnathan was trash. Benji is the only good thing about this place. He is the sweetest person and he's so so helpful. My driving lessons didn't make me anxious and I learned alot. I passed my road test with a 95 because of him. Please when you take lessons say you only want Benji he is the best. read more

This review is based solely on the 5 hour prelicensing course that I just took on their premises. The course instructor, Joe Altshuler, a former Ivy Leaguer, was charismatic and full of wit, and made the 5 hours fly by. By the end, I had learned a lot of very useful information and found the overall experience enjoyable - Not at all what I had expected! Also, their front desk staff was very personable and explained everything I needed to know in detail. Based on this first impression, I cant wait to start my driving lessons here. Will give another update after I am done with those. read more

Excellent experience. My son was not experienced and had confidence issues. The instructor gave him confidence and scheduled the classes so he got one right before road test. The girls in office pair you with instructor they think will match w moth you. I was weary but they were right! Passed first time. read more

If the woman on the phone wasn't rude, this school would have had my business. What a shame. Work on your attitude. read more

Honestly the 5 hour driving didn't really provide information, but I'm not sure how those are suppose to work anyways. The gist of the 5 hour course was basically not to text and drive and he showed very old 1990s videos. The instructor are nice a friendly, my instructor when on vaction recently and I got a new instructor Mike and he was great! He's very patient and doesn't make you nervous being that I am a nervous driver, but he makes the situation totally comfortable. Look forward for more lessons with Mike, hopefully I pass my road test in one go! read more

Benjamin is a Godsend! My daughter was very nervous about driving after we had a car accident. Two driving schools frustrated her so much that she thought she would never be able to learn to drive. Enter Benjamin! Benjamin has been able to calm my daughter down and she is doing very well with her driving lessons. Benjamin knows how to handle and encourage a nervous driver. He says my daughter will have no problem passing the driving test. We have had a good experience with anyone we have reached at the office. Go Benjamin Go!!!! read more

The driving instructor was informative and easy going. The problem was the car. The car was SO old. I think this car was from the 60's. I was really embarrassed to drive in it. I also had to manually move the mirrors with my hands. Dont sit on the cushion because while you drive you'll feel the absorbing of the sweat. Overall the car is just old and uncomfortable. But at least the instructor was funny and nice. Unless they change the car i wont be back for another lesson. read more

I have always struggled with nervousness when taking a test. I had already failed the driving test twice when someone recommended Carlos at All Seasons Auto School. Carlos is a patient and calm teacher. He comes across as a laid back person but at the same time won't let you get away with any mistakes and will repeatedly practice your weaknesses until you get it. In only 5 lessons he got me ready for the test and I passed. read more

I heard about All Seasons through two of my friends that have gone there, and decided to request Carlos as my instructor after hearing great things about him from so many different people. Highly recommend Carlos!!!! He is so patient, kind, and very helpful. I got the 10 lesson package and passed the road test on the first try. Definitely recommend this place! The women who pick up the phones are also very sweet. The package deals are great as they include everything along with the lessons- road test, car, defense class, etc. read more

Look for Richard. He's the best instructor in there. He's straight forward and he's going to teach you the best that he could do for you to pass.. I took my road test today and I pass. You gonna learn everything from him. read more

Just passed my road test on the first try, all thanks to my ten lessons with Ezra. He is nice and we got along great - he'll let you know if you do anything stupid on the road, though ;) I was picked up from my house each lesson and didn't have to share the car with any other students, thank goodness. Some of my lessons went longer than 45 minutes as a result, which allowed me more practice time. 10 weekly lessons was right for me, considering that I hadn't had any driving experience whatsoever before that, and now I passed! Get the 5-hour pre-licensing course done ahead of time - ideally before your lessons start. Some of the info can help your driving before you make any bad habits. Plus, you'll feel so much better to get it out of the way! Joe taught my course and he is a gifted orator . He wasn't boring for a second - although I can't vouch for some of the videos. I got a couple of friendly calls from their office confirming some of my important dates. They seem to be on top of things. Only complaint is that the car I drove in was kind of old and dirty - it was a Toyota Corolla. Also, their office is very cramped, but don't let that put you off. All in all, you'll definitely do great here! read more

I have no words to describe how amazing this school is. I had gone to another school and failed twice because I wasn't told the correct rules of the road, I had to take my 5 hour course 2 times before going to all seasons because I had let too much time go by without getting a license. The 5 hour courses I've got to before they put the video on and that's all they do video after video, at all seasons you actually LEARN something from the 5 hour course rather than falling asleep at your desk. Then I had scheduled my lessons and road test 3 weeks away. I got an instructor named Benji, we had 5 lessons each lesson he was 10 minutes early and the entire lesson he taught me the correct way to drive and corrected me on all the little things I got wrong. If it wasn't for him I would not have passed my road test TODAY! If your thinking of going to this school I highly recommend it and ask for Benjamin! read more

Took driving lessons from All Seasons, and also did a "defensive driving" video course. Wasn't too expensive, and my driving instructor was great. I also liked that All Seasons will drive you to the road test so that you can take it in the car that you learned to drive in! read more

I was part of a group of four students taking driving lessons with Ezra as part of the driver's ed education program at HANC in long island. When my friends and I started, not one of us knew how to drive well. By the end of the program we all felt confident - even driving on the highway, something that at least scared me a lot. I want to thank Ezra for teaching me how to drive and making sure we all passed our road test. He told us he works at All Seasons, so I came here to write his review! read more

I can't say enough great things about this school. I got my license later in life than I wanted, and partially it was was because of having nerves on the road. I signed up with All Seasons who teamed me up with their instructor Benjamin who was amazing. Benji had patience with me as I learned how to drive and was such a great help. He was professional and easy-going which helped a great deal since I'm a nervous driver. If you're looking to get your license, look no further than booking Benji at All Seasons. He will make sure you pass your road test with confidence, and will offer lots of good insight along the way. read more

Just took my driving test for the first time and passed and I owe it to Dave! He really taught me so much in a small amount of time. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a driving instructor! Ask for Dave, you wont regret it. read more

Great and affordable driving school. I needed to get my NY state license as I just moved here from half way around the world. I took a groupon deal for the 5 hour mandatory course and a 45 minutes lesson. I've been driving for a long time back where I came from but I thought maybe the 45 minute lesson would be useful for my road test maybe I can learn a thing or two about the stop signs which do not exist back where I came from. I had my lesson with Tony and he's just the best instructor. Apart from learning about the rules of the road, I learned that I've been parallel parking the wrong way for the last 17 years! The people in their office are also great. At the end I passed the test on the first attempt. Totally worth it. Thanks Tony! read more

i came here for a 6-hour defensive course for insurance purposes and it was super informative and very professional it was easy to schedule and they respond very promptly read more

They are pretty awesome. I took my 5-hour course and 10 lessons back in 2005 with them and honestly the lady who was my instructor was amazing. they make you feel sooo comfortable and always are reassuring you that you can do it. Even though I pretty much knew how to drive before I had lessons she taught me to park and I am a great driver. They do arrive way earlier on the day of the test to give a lesson before hand which is sooo helpful. I will CONTINUE to always recommend people to them because this is a great school. read more

I passed my road test thanks to Ezra! He was a very kind and patient instructor who kept the lessons interesting. I had barely driven before, and he gave me a good mix of lessons that covered driving/steering, turning, parking/U-turns, driving during different times of day, and even highway driving. He always showed up to my house early (and was even flexible to meet at other locations) so my lessons were slightly longer than 45 minutes. He will keep you entertained with stories and a good sense of humor. Would definitely recommend! read more

I took ten classes with Benjamin and I passed my road test on the first try! He was a great instructor and I learned so much from him. I was quite nervous at first but before I knew it, I was comfortable being behind the wheel. I had some difficulty scheduling my classes at times, but besides that, I am more than satisfied with how everything turned out. read more

I'm a late learner and was very scared. It didn't get 5 stars is because they are sometimes hard to get hold of, you have to call them frequently. But my driving instructor Benjamin was AMAZING. I passed my first attempt. He's a very nice, down to earth, and patient instructor. He makes you feel relaxed and comfortable behind the wheel. I strongly suggest him. Thanks so much Benjamin. read more

Took 8 lessons and passed my road test without much extra practicing on my own! But I do recommend getting their 5, 10, or 20-lesson packages because it takes care of everything for you. I got a driving lesson right before the road test to practice to loosen up and got a ride to the test site. All with the car you've practiced in. Less things to be worried about. I know some of the other reviews mentioned it and I do admit that their office is old and their website and cars aren't top of the line. But if you can't handle this, then you won't pass the road test since the inspectors have less than patience for YOU. But you'll be spending most of your time in the car, driving, so I don't see why the past reviewers are so concerned about irrelevant details. I highly recommend my instructor, Carlos. He's VERY PATIENT and could keep you calm while your nerves are going haywire. He's also very responsive when you call/text/email him for lesson appointments, you just have to give him at least a day's notice. He's also a chill guy to talk to while waiting for your turn on the road test and answers any questions you have at any time, in or outside the driving lesson. I paid for everything at All Seasons from my own pocket, not with my parents' money, and I have to say that I got my money's worth. Good luck driving! read more

Because of all the good reviews, I decided to sign up for lessons with Benji. I was always so nervous behind the wheel, but Benji made me feel very confident and relaxed. He is a great instructor, and because of him, I passed the road test on the first try! Scheduling appointments in the office was also never a problem, just call before hand to confirm your slot. read more

Filthy office when I went to take the five hour pre-license course with a man who rambled and little to no information was given. Showed clips from the 1980s with bad quality and outdated information. As an older driver I felt bad for the fear he just installed in these young kids. Slideshow of dead people and a dr phill episode from 1990 - so bizarre I couldn't wait to get out of there read more

I think everyone can see that this school is excellent from all the comments below. My instructor was Ezra and he was the best driving instructor. Extremely patient, always helping, and constantly giving me tips on driving. Passed without any problem and I already recommended him and this school to all my friends and family members!! Plus, the people working at the office is extremely helpful also. very nice people! Ask for Ezra~! (you won't regret it) read more

Thank you all seasons. My daughter came here after failing her road test with another school. We were not happy with the service the instructor was late half the time and once he didn't show up or call. We took a 10 lesson package at all seasons and we had Dave as her instructor he was always on time and he kept correcting her mistakes and I could see she had the desire to get her license after failing a few months ago. She passed her road test at Cunningham park and she was ecstatic. Thank you Dave and the secretaries at all seasons. read more

I had a great experience with Carlos, my driving teacher, but I had the worst experience ever dealing with the administrative staff of this place, who were unreasonable, disrespectful and rude. It was my first time driving and I don't own a car so from the beginning I wanted the 20 lesson package with 2 tests. I asked if I could pay in installments, and the woman on the phone -Laura, the older sounding woman and the wife of the owner- said sure and suggested a $160 payment to start with. I had Richard as my driver at first, but for our first two lessons, he ended up arriving late and short changing me 15 minutes each lesson. I switched teachers and I called in to complain about the 30 minutes I was owed twice and they did nothing about it- the second time I called they didn't even know what I was talking about. I scheduled my first road test after 16 lessons. Carlos said I had a 50% chance of passing but to my surprise, I did pass. Carlos and I had solely been practicing for the road test and didn't do anything else, such as going on the highways. I was still in no shape to actually drive alone and he agreed as well. I called the office to schedule another appointment and Laura said I was actually charged for a 15 lesson package plus 1 extra. I said there must be a mistake, and she said it did originally say 20 lessons but someone crossed it out. I said I'd pay the additional $90- how much extra the 20 lessons would have been- for the 4 additional lessons, and she said she'd ask the owner if it was okay. The next day Laura left a message saying no it wasn't possible. I called and she refused to talk to me, and instead I had to talk to someone who only started working there who then started backtracking and lying and saying I never wanted the 20 lesson package to begin with, and that they don't even allow paying installments. I told her that wasn't true, and she started making more things up and making more excuses. She said it was my fault that this happened and that I should've looked at my credit card statement sooner. She said after passing the test, as a licensed driver, the lessons would cost me $45 vs $35 for permit drivers anyways so I wouldn't be able to use the leftover lessons in my package anyways (nowhere does it say that on the website nor did they tell me this when they first tried to sell me lessons). I asked what would have happened if I failed the first road test and needed another one and she said then the 20 lesson package would have been honored. Then when I said the website showed lessons for licensed drivers cost $40 and not $45, she said she'd be able to give me a $5 discount. I asked to be transferred to the owner's wife, and she did, but the call dropped (I think she hung up on me). I called again and finally did I get Laura on the phone. I was calm and rational and respectful the entire time, but suddenly the conversation turned ugly and Laura started screaming at me over the phone that I was wasting her time and hung up on me. Now, it's obvious they just wanted to make more money from me at $45 a lesson. I don't even know if they are deliberately scamming me or not because they kept making stuff up and changing their explanations. I realized, each time they called me and asked for payment over the phone and gave me no contract, nor receipts. This is incredibly shady and at best, horrifically unprofessional. I have talked to other students who said they also thought Laura, the owner's wife, was very rude to them. This was overall the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I have paid over $500+ to their business and I shouldn't be treated this way. I literally had to beg for them to even talk to me and hear me out. I wanted to complain to the Better Business Bureau but they are not an accredited business. My advice is to get everything down in writing should you go with them. I do recommend Carlos as a teacher but I would suggest going with another driving school to save yourself this headache. Their lessons are not actually cheaper, they are just 45 mins long vs 1 hour long at other driving schools. Other schools don't charge $5-10 more per class if you are a licensed driver and cheaper if you only have a permit (what is the logic in this?!?). And finally, the dilapidated nature of their office, the fact that their licensing course hasn't been updated in decades and the ancient car they use should tell you enough. Go with a state of the art driving school and one that is BBB accredited. read more

Initially I had another instructor whom I will not mention. He was good because he teaches you how to drive for the road test, however, he only taught me how to drive for the road test, not to DRIVE for the world. After a failed road test, I switched my instructor to Richard. He is the best instructor out there!! You will not regret choosing him.He is a little strict but it is for you own safety. Richard made me gain my confidence and although I just passed my road test last week, I am already on the highway. Richard is the way to go! He believed in me when I didn't believe in myself. Thank you Richard, thank you. read more

I found All Seasons through groupon when they were offering a 5-hour lesson and a driving lesson for $38. The 5-hour safety course was very informative and thorough (note: the class will actually be 5 hours long, unlike other driving schools that give you a 20 minute speech and sign your certificate) and the driving lesson was very professional. I had requested my driving lesson with Carlos after reading the reviews about him on yelp. After my first lesson, I booked a package deal with him right away. He is extremely patient and punctual. He calls you before every lesson and will always be on time to pick you up and drop you off. I did not have any experience with another driving school or driving all together prior to All Seasons, but I know that the customer service they provide is what draws their customers in. They are ridiculously friendly and patient and I highly suggest you come here! read more

After being indecisive whether or not to go to a driving school, I'm so happy I chose All Seasons! I wasn't comfortable with the idea of getting a weird stranger teaching me to drive. Luckily, I was paired up with Dave, and on the first day he changed my mind completely. He makes you feel very comfortable and teaches you tips and tricks on passing the road test. I've also had Ezra for a lesson and he was great as well, both instructors motivate and try their best to push you in the direction on getting your license! read more

All Seasons has several decently priced packages. I applied for the 10 lesson one and I do not regret it. I loved my instructor (ask for Dave) because he was really chill, knows all the tricks of the driving trade, and is really honest about your progress and his expectations. The owner of All Seasons Auto School is soo friendly and very considerate. The secretaries are also very professional, prepare all necessary forms for you, and make appointments (to the best of their ability) according to your desired time frame. The instructor I had for my 5-hour lesson was full of stories, and didn't make the 5-hours seem too boring. Overall, All Seasons was a memorable driving school and I would highly recommend it to anyone of any age. read more

I recommend him (Ezra) 100% to anyone especially if you're someone who is afraid to drive or nervous behind the wheel. Like I was. read more

Coming to All Seasons I couldn't believe what I was walking myself into for my 5 hour course. It's in a literal basement with ply wood split between from where the "classroom" is and where the front desk is. The instructor who was "teaching" the course just made me not want to drive. All that he showed was outdated videos, none of them which were passed the 90s. He kept going into depth with extremely gory details of accidents he has witnessed on the road . He then went on and read out loud articles that he printed out from online and explained the very gory details of those accidents as well. At one point he shows a slide show of just dead people: people getting thrown out of windshields, lying dead in the street etc. I get that you want to explain the outcomes of reckless driving but it all seemed very unnecessary. As a new driver, It seemed that he just wanted to install fear into everyone as he went on to calling cars "weapons". I felt like it was a huge waste of time / it went OVER the time we were actually suppose to be there for. Very unprofessional if you have the choice go somewhere else! read more

If you're really serious about passing your road test I would go to All Seasons and take lessons with Carlos. I can't vouch for anyone else, but Carlos is an excellent instructor. I had taken lessons at Mercedes before and I have to say that even after just one lesson with Carlos I could tell that Mercedes had robbed me. They basically just had me driving around and would tell me if I was doing something wrong, but not how to fix it. When you're nervous about driving you just assume the instructor knows what they're doing, so you don't question them. Carlos is very patient and specific as to what you're doing wrong and how to correct it. After a few lessons you will definitely know what you're doing behind the wheel. By the time I took my road test, I passed easily. read more

My experience with the instructor Tony was terrible. He was rude, dismissive, and did not care about his student. Overall, the service was average but one of my instructors, Tony, should be fired. read more
