Teresa is an amazing instructor and even better human being. She brings her knowledge and spirit into each class she teaches. You know those times when you know you need to work out but you don't feel like it? Well when that happens, a class with Teresa always makes it fun and you almost forget you're working out. Except the sweat part. That's always a reminder. An hour class goes by and you've laughed so much that you can grunt through more squats. And quickly get to that place of "I am so glad I worked out". Class sizes are smallish which adds to the fun as well as customization of each class. Check out her schedule and drop in on a class. You will be happy you did read more

I'm not new to Pilates, but I am new to Teresa's amazing techniques. She taught myself and about 30 of my friends for my 40th birthday party, which was held outside in a park, and not a single person walked away without feeling like they learned something new + had a great workout. She kept us all engaged with detailed instruction, a few good jokes, and a great routine. From the time I first called Teresa to the day of the event, she was on top of everything. She is such an incredible human being - I am a fan! read more

Looking forward to another fabulous class with the best instructor I've ever had... Teresa! She inspires, motivates and challenges me to be the best ME that I can be! read more

After attending Teresa's pilates class, I seriously feel like I started my day with a SHOT OF ENDORPHINS! Ever since I moved back home from college and started working, I made little effort to exercise. Then when my hours were furloughed, I decided to use my free time to try pilates. Based on the yelp reviews, no contract, inexpensive prices, and closeness to my house, I decided to go to Teresa's classes. I asked my friend to come with me...and we're both hooked! We've been here every week since we started and we're trying to make it stay that way. Plus no contracts or commitments. We pay as we go which is great since we expect some changes to our schedule sooner or later. Teresa is a great instructor--patient, passionate, personable, motivating, helpful and FUN. I didn't think I would like pilates since I am use to more fast cardio workouts (kickboxing, steps, sports) but I love it now. (Pilates is currently under the things I love on my profile.) The other students are diverse and friendly here which makes working out in a group very comfortable. I have experienced group exercises where the other students are a little cold and stoic which made me feel unwelcome. Here, I get the best of both worlds: a good instructor and amicable peers. You have to make an appointment on her website for pilates but the other classes are drop in. My friend and I tried Zumba too. That class is quite popular and worth checking out, especially if you're a booty shaker. ;) And my coworkers can tell when I go to Teresa's classes before work because they notice I am in a happier mood. I am telling you: ENDORPHINS! read more

So glad I was able to find Teresa Estill and Pilates By Teresa! I do Pilates 2-3 days a week for core stretch & muscle tone. I do Calorie Blast for strength training & cardio. I do Zumba for cardio. I do Stretch and Release to do just that...stretch out and release the aches and pains from working my body all week. Finally sat down and calculated my progress from March 4-June 3. I have lost 18.7 lbs. and at least 13" from my entire body! Teresa not only teaches Pilates, Step, Zumba, Calorie Blast and Stretch & Release classes, but also encourages, inspires & gives us the nutrition/health/exercise information that is so current and relevant to our lives. She inspires me to be a better version of myself. read more

I started going to Teresa's step & work out classes. I found her through neighbors that also go here. Work outs are awesome!! She pushes you when you need it without feeling yelled at. Teresa knows her stuff. She's not just some person that knows the moves and now teaches. She knows why she does the moves & explains and how it will help you. Her classes are tailored to your level each and every day. She is always willing to work with you if you have an injury or if something isn't feeling right. My energy is increasing & I am feeling so much better. She is a great inspiration!! read more

I have had continuous back problems for 15 years and have tried all kinds of treatments from Doctors, Chiropractors to Physical Therapists. Teresa has done more for me than all others combined with a permanent program to strengthen my core muscles. My lower back has not felt this good since before my injury. I would highly recommend her to anyone with low back issues. I can now enjoy skiing and my favorite pastime - MOTORCYCLE RIDING. read more

I take Pilates classes on Tuesdays' nights since last year. Not only Teresa is very knowledgeable, caring and genuinely nice person, but the group of students are very nice people. I am always looking forward to the class. read more

I just love my Tuesday night Pilates class with Teresa. When I first started (about 5 years ago), I really didn't even know what core training was. But thanks to Teresa's patient approach, and her clear understanding of the challenges for different body types and ages, I am probably stronger at 70 than I was at 30! Her passion for what she does is infectious, and her sense of humor makes the class fun. I highly recommend Pilates by Teresa. It's NEVER too late to start :) read more

It was a blessing to have discovered Teresa and her fitness community. She's such an inspiration, in many ways! I enjoyed working out with her and all other friendly classmates. And I loved how she talks- her passion is infectious and she truly has a young heart. I was deeply impressed by her curiosity, kindness and energy. The venue might be not a fancy gym, but Teresa's instructions are solid and price is affordable. read more

I took Teresa's Pilates and Zumba classes several years ago when I lived in Campbell, and she is the best instructor. Motivating, funny, and inventive. She likes to switch up her Pilates sessions so students don't get bored and it makes the class both strenuous and fun. She is very flexible (I had to reschedule sessions several times due to my work and travel schedule) and helpful and I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great workout without watching the clock. read more

I love Teresa's pilates classes! I used to go to mat pilates classes in college at the student gym. I went more when I was in grad school. I also signed up for my community college's pilates class. The difference between these classes and Teresa's? Personalized attention, and the relatively small class size. Teresa's pilates classes are by appointment-only, which means you won't get lost in a sea of 40-some students all struggling to keep up with the moves. Trust me. I've experienced classes like these, and it can be incredibly confusing. Plus, the moves you do vary session from session, so you never get bored and you always come out feeling like you've done something good that day. An added bonus is that it's perfect for all levels. I took my mom there, who barely ever exercises. I wanted her to build up some core strength, which she definitely lacks. So far, it's been great for her! Plus it's an activity that we can do together, which is nice. read more

I've taken a number of aerobics classes over the years (yoga, pilates, step, etc.), and never have I enjoyed myself as much as I have since I started with Teresa. Unlike most of the instructors i've had, Teresa actually genuinely cares about each of her students. Whether you're a first time student or one of her regulars, the time she spends with each, ensuring that you're getting the movements and getting your moneys worth is all the same. That says a lot to me. And speaking of money, you can go and spend hundreds of dollars on memberships in fancy gyms, and you won't get half of what I've gotten out of her classes. The price is perfect (cheap!) and after each class I know i've gotten a good workout. Perhaps most importantly is her enthusiasm and energy. She's always upbeat, keeps you motivated, and will often give you tips and tricks she's discovered in her studies (nutrition, general health, etc.) I really feel like i'm with an old pro each time I walk into her studio, and I know I'm in good hands! Love ya Teresa! read more

Teresa is my Pilates instructor. She is awesome and her class is always full of fun and laugh. She is very patient, flexible, and motivating. She keeps me coming back to the class. I used to have a little bit neck and back pain. This is the beauty of Pilates to keep you flexible and feel great! Highly recommend! read more

Teresa is truly a kind, compassionate, and humorous person who happens to be a knowledgeable and passionate Pilates instructor. She strives to build our strength and flexibility and as an added bonus she educates us with some health tips. I always feel energized and stronger after her classes. Teresa has been my pilates instructor since 2014. She is the best instructor, incredibly knowledgeable and skilled and creative. You will get a great workout and increase in overall strength. The best part is she teaches us proper form and insights on how to prevent injury. Love getting strong without fear of injury. 30 plus years experience shows, thank you Teresa! read more

Love Teresa's classes. She provides modifications for each class which make them appropriate for every level.

Teresa always teaches the latest newly learned technology when it comes to fitness instruction. Her latest is "FOOT" AND "FEET" exercise. Leaving her DYNAMIC STRETCH CLASSES on Fridays leaves me feeling like I have just had a message. read more

I found Teresa through the Willow Glen Business Association. I had just relocated to WG in December and thought I'd check out local places to support. After emailing her about certain concerns (mostly fear caused by gyms) she had me so at ease, I couldn't wait to meet her. AMAZING ENERGY. Teresa is one of kind. Pure heart, kind soul. I started with her Cardio Blast class. Not knowing what the hell was going on, she was with me 100% of the way. I was never embarrassed to not know the moves, the others in class were extremely supportive and helpful as well. Then she announced she was going to do a beginners Pilates. I was all over that. I took this class and was so happy I did. You have so much patience Teresa. No one has ever taught me how to breath correctly. I love her so much, I've changed my work schedule to accommodate at least 1 class a week. I attempt to make more, but it's not always easy with my crazy schedule. Still, there is no judgement for missing a class. She is always just happy you try! Oh yea, since meeting her, I've incorporated much better eating habits and dropped 17 pounds and several inches. She is a wealth of information and is more then willing to share it. You rock! PS: she has a wicked sense of humor. Be prepared to laugh a lot and have fun! read more

I am a student with Teresa for nearly a year now and I LOVE her classes. I have always struggled with finding an exercise class that works for me and that makes me want to return.... I struggle no more!. I started taking her Pilates class and then added her Strength and Stretching class. Recently, I have joined her dance and movement class... all her classes are fun and worthwhile. Teresa is very welcoming and so knowledgeable on all aspects of the body/training and working out safely. Can't say enough good things about Teresa. Try one of her classes you won't regret it. read more

I've been following Teresa for her Pilates class for a several years now while nothing else related to exercising lasted this long! Her Pilates class has become something I look forward to every week. It's like this, "if I don't go to her class today, I'm going to miss something really good!" I also have attended her Zumba class a few times. She makes this class a lot of fun while you get your exercise. You can pay for the class as you attend. There is no membership due. read more

I recently found Teresa and started taking her classes to build core strength. She really knows body mechanics and physiology. She works muscles that I didn't even know existed. Everything she has us do has a purpose and she explains what that purpose is. The two classes that I take now (Tuesday Pilates and Friday Stretching/Strengthening) are especially nice. The energy of both classes is really lovely. And, Teresa is hilarious. I find myself laughing through most of the class, just because she tends to entertain while teaching. I'm really thankful that I found her. read more

Teresa is a fabulous instructor! Her classes have significant variety, so you hit all muscle groups and don't get bored class after class. I learn something new every class. As a licensed physical therapist assistant I am very particular about the classes I attend and am often frustrated with the lack of knowledge in fitness professionals as I watch other participants using inproper body mechanics. Not the case with teresa. She is very knowledgeable in her field, she pays close attention to her students to make sure they are doing things right, she gives excellent verbal cues. She has many different ways to explain the same concept. On top of all this she is incredibly encouraging and motivated. Thanks for all you've taught me! read more

Teresa has a big caring loving joyful personality which is also apparent in the way she teaches pilates- she doesn't cater to one body type but all types and all levels of people's limitations. She saved me during this continuous pandemic. Although it is probably an inconvenience for her, I am thankful she is teaching on zoom, limits in person do to safety, it's been great able to keep up with a routine. Also when she was in Hawaii she continued to teach pilates 2x a week with an ocean view, sounds of waves and pictures while also giving her students some challenges to give themselves a little push while she was away - I have to say I think I personally excelled on those challenges - who does that and periodically checks in to cheer you on during vacation- Teresa. If your looking for not your typical pilates class, like I was, then you won't be disappointed joining Teresa's classes...it's been about 7 years for me. read more

Teresa is an exceptional instructor, educator, mentor and beyond. She is not only knowledgeable and competent in her field by providing us with up-to-date and safe techniques, but also incorporating different tools each time. She also keeps us informed of important health information related in the area. To me, that makes her class unique and valuable. However, best of all, it is her superb personality, which radiates through her teachings in a fun and friendly atmosphere and this is probably the reason why I and so many other people have been taking her pilates for a long time. I feel that I can continue pilates, especially with her, for many more years to come, because of the way she teaches! read more

Without a doubt, this is an excellent instructor. Teresa has made a believer out of a long time non-exerciser. The Pilates Class is a fun, mat-based affordable workout for everyone. Teresa has the rare ability to combine intelligence and knowledge with humor. She has classes where every person feels comfortable, accepted and welcomed regardless of age, ability and size. She takes you from where you "are" and works with you towards what you are "becoming." This is a rare instructor who really understands the subject area as well as how to motivate people. During the past three years, she has turned me from a couch potato to someone who exercises at least three times a week. Thank you Teresa for my improved health, strength, and 30+ pound weight loss. read more

I used to go out dancing of which I always loved doing, now that I have not in years, going to zumba with Teresa gives me the opportunity to enjoy all types,of which she makes it alot of fun. Both my wife and I attend Teresa's classes, and I can't say enough good things about them! A while back, I attended an introductory class at the YMCA, and I kept thinking "there's something missing here". Then I realized that I have been basically spoiled with Teresa's classes. As far as I'm concerned, she is the best, and we always feel so good after attending class. I had never looked forward to exercising before - now I do. I really like her enthusiasm, sense of humor, extensive subject knowledge, and how she keeps us all motivated. There's just no one better. read more

I LOVE Teresa! Her classes are fun and she is so motivating! She knows every person in the class and as she's doing exercises gives modifications to those with physical issues. I'm new to her studio, but am a big fan! I've tried many clubs and other studios, but I felt like I was one of the family immediately upon entering. She creates such a welcoming atmosphere - and one where you truly work at your level and are motivated and encouraged to test your limits. I've done things in her class that I wouldn't have tried hanging out in the back of a club class. The classes pass so quickly because they are truly fun. If you're looking for a fun, encouraging, great workout - try one of her classes - you'll be hooked! read more

I have been going to Teresa's classes for MANY years and I am so beyond grateful for her. When I started I had debilitating back pain for about 20 years, and her Pilates classes have completely ended that! I mean a life-changer, no more pain! (that was after years of trying the "Doctor" route with pills and cortisone shots and everything they try to throw at that kind of problem) The great thing is that Teresa makes it fun and doable for every level -- each class is different, with fun toys and equipment, and a constant variety of moves, and the time just flies by. She is a master at knowing exactly what works to build strength and how to do it safely. It takes less "work" than you may think to effectively build that core strength and get a strong and healthy back and body. Teresa guides with humor, great care and a wealth of knowledgeable experience. read more

Great class. I have a bad back and attending her classes has made my back problems manageable, and I can do things I always wanted to. I am not one for gyms or classes, but I'm a runner. However, about 4 years ago, after taking a year off from running, I know I needed to make sure I didn't injure myself. I researched Pilates and came across Teresa and emailed her what I was looking for and why. I did one trial class and signed up! I started with Tuesday evenings which fit for 3 years but this year due to my secular work change I jumped from Monday morning Pilates and even Tabata on Tuesday mornings for awhile. I wish I could do Tabata once a week, it's a great all over body workout. Even when my husband was laid off, he didn't want me to stop Pilates & with Teresa's compassion I was able to attend. Teresa is very knowledgeable, loyal, and a friend to all. read more

Teresa is the BOMB! I have not been on speaking terms with my body for several years and Teresa has facilitated a wonderful reunion. Instead of listing all the stuff that hurts, now I list all the things I can do, and all the things I WILL do. And she's so damn funny. She's the best! read more

I started going to Teresa's Pilates class last fall. She's amazing! As a complete beginner she was very thorough in getting to know me, any physical issues I had and what I was capable of doing. Yes its hard to laugh in some of those pilates positions but trust me you will really enjoy it. read more
