I decided to try a number of yoga studios in my area to compare as I plan to get a membership, and…read morethis was one of them. I tried a slow restorative yoga class, but it was neither slow not restorative, but rather fast paced and pretty intense! We didn't really hold poses long at all, and it was a cardio workout. The teacher was nice enough, but fairly perfunctory. Overall, it is a good choice for more advanced practitioners and those who want a cardio workout. When looking at the pictures of the studio here on Yelp, I was a little creeped out noticing studio photos apparently taken in the back of the class by Yelp posters during class. Cell phones should not be permitted in the studio, and, worse, no one should be taking pictures of classmates and posting them on Yelp. It seems a violation of privacy. The owner was thanking people for posting these photos. I haven't seen anything like this at any other studio's Yelp page....

Very weird and unprofessional behavior by this business owner. Update: Got an immediate response from the owner attempting to invalidate my experience - see below. I DM'ed them and they continued to argue with me about how I'm "wrong". Very weird and unprofessional behavior by a business owner. This place does not deserve the 1 star needed to leave a review. The owner Ajnavi is incredibly rude and absolutely terrible at communicating. When called out for her poor behavior over the phone, she gave me the full name of one of her other employees to try to place the blame on them. Even if it was their fault, giving out your employees information is so unsafe and unprofessional. The instructor I had offered no modifications, even after asking for them specifically, and the bathroom was dirty and had no supplies. There are so many better yoga studios in the area who have kind staff and owners, better prices, and a much more inclusive and welcoming environment, especially for beginners. Go literally anywhere else and you will have a much better experience.

I've been going here for almost 2 months now, about 3-5 times a week. I honestly love this place…read morebecause I can walk to it and it's just personally so convenient for me. I recently completed physical therapy for my neck and back and I wanted to get back into doing pilates to work on my core more + continue stretching out my neck and back. I also felt like getting a membership here was cheaper than what I was paying for PT so I feel it's so worth. They had a deal for unlimited classes (31 classes) for $149 I believe, and it's such an amazing offer, especially if you're going to be consistent with going and making use of your credits. The instructors are so lovely and I haven't encountered any issues with anyone there. Stacey and Annie are my favorite instructors. They care so much about your form and your comfort, which I appreciate so so much. I haven't been there long enough yet to experience the other instructors more than once yet, but the experiences I've had have all been wonderful and positive! I I used to go to Club Pilates and nothing can beat the quality of classes that I've gotten at Pilates V!

Some poses were challenging, but she does a great job coaching and keeping the energy up. Then I tried the V2 Reformer + TRX class with Michele--the equipment and Michele really worked us out. We focused a lot on arms, legs, and core, and I definitely felt like I got a solid workout. Both instructors were super nice, and I like the open, airy space in the studio. Everything is super clean and well-organized. Each station is fully stocked. The instructor lets you know what items you'll need for class but they also have a wall chart that shows what equipment will be used for the class. They have cubbies for your stuff, and don't forget to bring grip socks! Also, I found parking right in front of the studio--super convenient. Looking forward to my next class!

Recommend recommend recommend! The best part however is the people. The teachers, desk staff and cafe people are warm & caring, plus there's an additional office with avurveda, acupuncture and other treatments by lovely, qualified folks. When I was looking for a yoga studio, a friend said, "there is only one place-Breathe." She was right. The space is welcoming, with gifts and cute jewelry, there are 2 spotless showers if I need, filtered water, all the props. Do not hesitate--check this place out. While every single teacher may not be "yours", these are consistently excellent instructors who share stories, songs chants and even play an instrument once in a while. Candlelight flow, hot yoga, aerial yoga, power, yin, you name it. It took me a minute to commit (I did several punch cards before I took the plunge and joined) and I'm so glad I did. If you're looking for a true yoga community, you've found it. Welcome home

So grateful for this place.

Her therapeutic yoga really changes your body and can fix health problems (you can see case studies as fellow students in your classes). Her yoga is so therapeutic that she has also been teaching at Kaiser Santa Teresa. In comparison, other instructors I've tried seem to have just learned yoga a couple of years ago, and they teach it like it's an aerobics class. Sherry takes her time with each yoga pose, giving personalized individual help so you can get the most out of it. I'm a ballet dancer, and I thought I knew my body alignment before, but Sherry takes your awareness to a whole other level. Don't worry, you'll still get a challenging workout and find yourself sore the next day. She just moved to this larger studio (July 2006)...thank goodness, because her classes always fill up the room! If it's your first time, she has mats you can borrow. It's best to buy an 8-pack good for 8 classes (duh!) for $135. The best part is that you are not tied down to a schedule. If you're not free 1 week, you're not wasting anything. You essentially pay each time you go. Parking can be tough, but I've never not had a spot. However, what you should be worried about is getting here early enough to get a spot in the class. Her classes are always packed, which speaks to just how good she is.
