This studio has it all: nice location, solid instructors, clean studio, packed schedule and varieties of classes which may run as early as 6am to as late as 8pm to accommodate all your workout needs. It's conveniently located on the second floor, on top of Luna Mexican restaurant and a few steps away from Kyoto Palace Japanese Steakhouse restaurant. As soon as you walk in, you see a wall of honor on which students's milestone accomplishment are posted and celebrated with. Friendly staff at the front desk greet you and promptly check you in. If you're a new student, you are offered free towel and mat for your first class. From the entrance, if you turn left, you can see men and women locker rooms, water stations and studio 1. If you turn right and go along the wall, it will take you to studio 2, the smaller studio but offering nice view of Mt. Umuhum and the plaza underneath you. I always feel a sense of belonging and community every time I come to this studio to practice. The instructors make me feel welcomed and they are dedicated to their teachings. The instructors offer hands-on adjustments and ask for permission first, which I appreciate. I often feel refreshed after every single class, whether it's C1 (vinyasa flow level 1), C2 (level 2), Yoga Sculpt (with weights), Hot Power Fusion (Bikram style yoga), or CoreRestore (yin style yoga) class. Some of my favorite instructors are Tori, Kayleigh, Lynn, Allie, Andrea, Tracy, Leah, just to name a few. I didn't take any pictures due to privacy but their locker rooms are clean and spacious. They have shower rooms with all the shampoos, soaps and conditioners you may need to take a shower after a sweaty class. Please come and give this relatively newest CorePower Yoga studio a try, whether you're a brand new students looking for a nice workout and a community or you might have had somewhat unpleasant experience in the past. Give it another try and you may change your mind. The studio has improved a lot ever since their first days of opening and it deserves another chance :) Tips: do not try to find parkings near Trader Joe's though it's closer to the studio. You'll end up competing with others for those popular parking spots and spent unnecessary 15-20 minutes circling around, unless you're very lucky. I usually park at the parking garage on the other end of the plaza and it's only 5 minutes walk to the studio. Namaste ! read more

Really great studio with lots of amenities. There is only one studio here. I took a corepower strength x class here and the instructor kept things challenging which I like. The instructor was friendly and encouraging, she gave me props for keeping up in class. After class, I noticed there weren't any wipe dispensers in the studio to wipe down your mats. It felt gross to just roll up my sweaty mat.. Please make the wipe dispensers more apparent in the studio, I'm confident everyone would appreciate having wipes. They have showers and free lockers inside to store your things, and yoga mats for rental. They have free hair ties at the front desk which is genius. I hate it when I come to class and don't have a hair tie. Parking can be tough so I recommend coming to class 10-15min before class to find parking. read more

Love this new location in the Pruneyard! If you are new to the studio, it is located up the stairs past the juice place. PROS: + Friendly teachers + Consistently great classes + CLEAN studio + Not overly crowded (yet) like other CorePower studios! CONS - Prepare to arrive at leastttt 15 minutes before class, especially if you are coming to a 5pm / 5:30pm class. No rocking up 5 min before class like you can at other studios. This is located in the Pruneyard... aka you are fighting for your life parking with the Trader Joe's crowd as well as a ton of other restaurants. Avoid this by coming early, parking in the parking garage on the opposite side of the plaza (5 min walk), or avoiding non working hours altogether (12pm is a lot easier to park than 5:30pm!) Love this studio though! So clean and spacious! I highly recommend trying it out :) read more

Ohhhhhh tried a different CP location! 75 minute HPF on a Saturday morning,.....sounds great! And unlike so many of my beloved LA studios this one has ample parking! It's in a cute shopping center that has a Trader Joe's, Sweet Greens, Peets Coffee. Yoga, groceries, lunch, coffee all in one place! The studio looks fairly new/updated and clean. Locker rooms and a communal area with cubbies. But like so many of the newer studios this one also has those odd infrared heating panels that just don't get hot. As a result the studio has space heaters and a humidity machine to get the yoga room somewhat hot and humid and hot enough for an HPF class. It just doesn't work and you don't leave with the same great feeling that you get after a true HPF class. Probably won't go back because of this, will continue to go to older CorePower studios that have central heating systems that work effectively, after all it is supposed to be HOT yoga! This is the nearest studio in the South Bay and I'm obsessed with how nice the studio rooms are here! So excited to start coming here more often. The studio I went to has a pillar in the middle which is kind of annoying if you get stuck behind it to the wrong side of it. Getting there early is a good idea to secure a food spot! read more

Good: Lots of classes throughout the day and a good variety of classes. Teachers and staff are friendly. Ample parking. Bad: Studio is not very clean. One time the studio smell so bad that someone had to burn incense to cover the smell. No one cleans the yoga blocks or dumbbells. Almost all the classes are hot classes. Even when the class is not supposed to be hot, the room temp is still high. read more

The restore class was nice but the incense they were burning really bothered my lungs during the deep breath work.

I'm a member and paused my membership because of a foot fracture. I purchased a 1 time class credit and headquarters said I could just come by the studio and use it when I'm ready to see if my foot is ready for yoga again. The woman at the counter this morning was very rude, saying she doesn't know anything about the credit that I showed her on my phone. I told her the situation and asked if she could check with their headquarters as there's some misunderstanding and she said, "I don't do that. I don't call headquarters. That's not my responsibility" then turned away and helped the next person. I love core power and am just disappointed by the lack of care by this person at this studio. I then went to the Winchester location, and they figured it out and I was able to attend. Being kind is everything! read more

Tried this yoga studio for 2 months. I did 4 different classes including core power 1, core power 2 with 3 different instructors and restore class. Personally this is not my kind of yoga. Most instructors have crappy music selections and it's so loud it's hard to hear the instructors. Also the classes don't start on time. The place doesn't have a good selection of classes. They have no classes that start at 4:30pm and very few classes to choose from entirely. And finally when you take CP2 when there is hot yoga after, it is so insanely hot that it's unbearable. One more, I didn't like the CP2 classes. I felt like many of them didn't flow well. I did yoga at a studio a couple years ago and I don't remember it being this weird. Also the focus on core is a little too much. I don't want to do crunches in the middle of the yoga classes. I now understand though why it's called core power lol. Likes: the studio itself is very clean and there are always enough lockers. Showers worked well and water was not entirely cold. The instructors are nice and friendly for the most part. read more

This is the WORST yoga studio I've ever been to. It took me more than 10mins to find a parking spot so I was 1 min late for the class. When I arrived, they told me the class was cancelled and I cannot get my credits back because I'm 1 min late!!!!!! Unbelievable! No one even informed me that the class was cancelled!! No emails, no calls. Should avoid this studio and try other corepower studios. read more

I took my very first Corepower Yoga Sculpt class here and it was amazing! What an incredible workout. I was drenched in sweat, I didn't know it was a heated class but I wasn't mad at it. The instructor was Isabel and she was great!!! Im so excited to sign up for a membership. 2 CONS: I really really reallly really wish Pruneyard location had either a 6am, 6:30am, or 7am class... And parking! Just make sure you arrive early enough and you won't have any issues. This studio is beautiful and clean. I loved it. read more

Took a free class because I really enjoy yoga and was looking for a new studio to become a member of, so I tried Core Power in the Pruneyard. I understand this was a free class, but this was sooooooooo bad. Shoved so many people into the room you couldn't even do the actual moves, so you're getting like 30% of a workout. The instructor didn't offer modifications for a majority of the movements, and I specifically asked ahead of time from the woman at the front desk what was the best way to get the instructor's attention during the class for modifications. She told me "sit on your mat and make eye contact with the instructor". I did this, several times. She would just stare at me with a blank expression. The most unwelcoming and not inclusive staff at the front, they don't even look up when you walk into the door. On top of that, I called corporate ahead of time to ask about if mat's are offered - I was told my first class came with a free mat, but the studio charged me $4. The price is not an issue, but the inconsistent information reflects really poorly on your business. If I could give 0 stars, I would. read more
