Looking for sackable food before our flight. Lots of options and self checkout makes this fast and friendly.

If you're looking to pick up some last minute snacks or gifts before boarding your flight at SeaTac's N Concourse, Pike and Pine would be a good candidate to get some! I had a little time to kill before boarding my flight back to SoCal. I was looking for some eateries or other shops to pick up a few snacks that I could munch on after returning home. The N Concourse isn't exactly the best place to find a snack shop, but Pike and Pine is one of a few in that terminal. You'll find a lot of interesting merchandise and even a Brookstone in the back for your electronic needs! Since I was looking for snacks, I can't really comment on non-edible merch at this convenience store, but I can comment on how they have such a wide variety of different snacks that I had a difficult time choosing what to get! I had my eyes on the chocolate bars. One table had chocolate bars that said Seattle as well as Washington (the state, not DC). There were other chocolate bars for Bigfoot I believe as well. It would have been cool to get them all, but one Seattle/Washington chocolate bar was $5.99! About the same price as a Theo Chocolate Bar from Beecher's in the same terminal. I only recall seeing Milk Chocolate Seattle bars, but I did find a Dark Chocolate Washington bar, and that's what I got. I also wanted to get some popcorn, and the Huckleberry flavor was calling my name. I don't think I've ever tasted a fruit that was named after that one novel penned by Samuel Langhorne Clemens, but I sure wanted to try it in popcorn form! However, there were two issues I had with the popcorn: price and expiration date. I'm a stickler for looking at expiration dates at every product I buy, but I couldn't find one for the popcorn or even for the chocolate bar! As a result, I made it a point to consume both shortly after arriving back at home so they don't suffer from spoilage after an extended period of time. As for price, I was able to see the $5.99 sticker on the back of the chocolate bar, but I did not see a price for the popcorn. I was estimating around $8 because a few days prior, I went to a popcorn shop in Long Beach, CA, and a bag of gourmet or other specialty popcorn was about $8 as well. The true price was $6.99 after I asked the cashier to ring it up, and so I decided to purchase the Huckleberry-flavored popcorn. He was also happy enough to check the price of the $5.99 chocolate bar to ensure it was still $5.99 and not a victim of this inflation thing that has been infesting us consumers for what has felt like an eternity! The chocolate bar tasted fine, but not worth $5.99 if you were to purchase at, say, QFC or Fred Meyer. The huckleberry popcorn was nice and firm, but in popcorn form, isn't a true representation of what huckleberry tastes like as I wouldn't have an inkling as to how much I'd enjoy the real deal. Still, I'm not factoring the taste of those products into my rating, which primarily considers just my experience shopping at this convenience shop. I like how Pike & Pine offers a wide variety of snacks that will surely have something for everyone. Yes, they are pricey, but what isn't pricey at an airport, am I right?! I just wish that they would be more clear on the pricing because not all products will have price tags on them, and it can really be disruptive to your decision making on what to get before getting on the plane. And did I mention the expiration dates as well? Not all products will have them, so definitely be mindful of how the product(s) look before purchasing them! Overall, I'm thankful for this shop for my last-minute snacking needs. I think there were 1 or 2 other shops that had similar snacks, but there was a much wider variety of snacks at this boutique by Hudson. They are located by Gate N1 at the North Satellite Terminal, which you can only get to by way of the SEA Underground.

My adult son had to cover my back while I finished paying at the pump. They might want to invest in some Security. I wouldn't recommend a female come to this location by themselves. It was conveniently located near my hotel and the car rental return. I ignored the price because I was used to everything being overpriced from my week in the PNW.

It was located after some construction heading northbound, however the sign still made it easy to spot from the road. There was a little bit of incline on the turn in from the road, but I did not scrape the bottom front of my car. The spots were close together, so it was a tight fit for the stall I pulled in as there was a car in front of me. For my payment method, I went with a Shell gift card I received from my aunt in 2021 for Christmas. Paying at the pump was simple and instructions clearly communicated. Regular/unleaded was $5.799 per gallon, which while high is not the highest I have seen in the Puget Sound area in the past year or so. Fueling was smooth and when the receipt printed after I was finished it even listed my remaining gift card balance, which I thought was pretty neat/helpful.

After my brother completed his purchase and asked for a bag, I finished my purchase and the clerk did not give me my change. When I asked for it, he claimed my change was used for a bag given to my brother. He never mentioned or told my brother there was a fee for the bag. I told him my purchase had nothing to do with his purchase. The clerk began yelling and using profanity, telling my brother to "get the fuck out of my store." During the confrontation he also used racially derogatory language, referring to my brother as a "black motherfucker." This escalated what should have been a simple issue about change and a bag. If he responded nicely, my brother would've paid for the bag. At one point the clerk also reached as though he might be drawing a gun, which made the situation feel threatening. I attempted to calm the situation and told both of them the argument was not worth escalating, but the clerk continued using profanity and again told us to "get the fuck out of my store," while claiming he was the owner. I am sharing this because customers should not be subjected to profanity, racial insults, or threatening behavior over a routine purchase. Regardless of whether this person is an employee or the owner, this interaction was unacceptable and extremely concerning. I'm also asking anyone who could be subject to racial slurs, to not patronize this store.
